Osteria Rusticana is one of my favorite little Italian spots in Chicago. The meatball appetizer has great tomato sauce and menu staples like Linguine Frutti di Mare or the Ragu are always amazing.

My family and I used to love this place. The food was so good. I'm not sure what has happened, but the food has gone way down hill. I gave it 3 tries from when it started getting bad just to be sure I wasn't going on an off day. And the food was not good each of those 3 times. I'm very sad to say that I won't go back. The only reason I'm not giving it a one star review is because everything else is really good, especially the service.

Had a wonderful dinner. One of the best services in Chicago. We had Luca for our server, constant accommodation and dinner! Highly recommend this place!!! Will be coming back again!

Wonderful experience. The food was incredible. My partner said the tiramisu made me happier than he ever has. The staff was also great and kind. Loved the choice of wine pairing.

Food was amazing, didn’t realize “extra bread” costs $4 - no big deal but not on the menu. Staff got a little short when three of us asked for a separate check. Not like we were a party of 10. Then they couldn’t make change for a tip, got flustered & had to go next door for change Otherwise had a great time!

The owner was very accommodating for our party of three and a reservation for two. Several severs took care of us. The vegetable lasagna, gnocchi and chicken parm were all fantastic!

Decided to try Osteria Rusticana for restaurant week. We tried the octopus appetizer, which was only two small pieces of octopus. The clam linguine had 4 small clams and there was so much heat and barely any flavor. The salmon was fine, nothing to rave about. The tiramisu was very watery without much flavor. Would not return or recommend to anyone.
