Food was great! Loved that it’s farm to table. Great service too!
We stayed for around three hours and had a great experience! The food was amazing and the service was excellent. We will definitely return!
great service. Good food- nothing special for the price. Noisy.
We ate at the bar and service was excellent. Good selection of wines by glass and bottle. Food was delicious! We had the Chicken Rosmarino, rigatoni bolognese, and Bucatini Bosciola. Highly recommend all. Would definitely return.
Both pasta dishes were overcooked and lacking flavor. Octopus appetizer was good.
Osteria has and continues to be my favorite restaurant here in Grand Rapids. The ambiance, food, and service is always top notch. I love bringing family from out of town here and it’s also the perfect place to enjoy a fabulous, intimate meal before a show at Civic Theatre (right around the corner).
Service was slow and half of our party received their food and 10 minutes later the whole table had their food. Food was average to good, not excellent. Olive oil cake for dessert was stale and not good. Other desserts ordered were good, not great. Prices were high and quality of food and service didn’t reflect cost.
Food and service were fantastic! We were running a few minutes late and when we called they were awesome and told us to drive careful. Our waitress was very good and helped with our order and made sure she stopped back several times to check on us. We will definitely dine here again!
Nice ambience but food is disappointing.
Absolutely flawless. Unique flavor, attentive team members, exceptional flare.
We had a 715 reservation and got there about 5 minutes early and they told us it’d be a little wait, no big deal, so we sat at the bar. We told the bartender we had a reservation so we got the check right away. We sat at the bar for 35 minutes and watched several people get sat before us, all while the bartender never came to check on us once or took my credit card for the bill. We got up and left bummed because we really loved the feel of the place. Probably won’t be going back. Terrible service from the start.
Osteria Rosa is a favorite. Great food and service with the feeling of Italy with every bite. Their pizza is wood-fired and fantastic — but the pasta dishes are unforgettable.
Homecoming dinner. They kids were treated very respectful by the staff and they all said their food was great.
Food was great, wine was great, we don’t come here enough!
The atmosphere was amazing and the food was exceptional. Will definitely be going back!
Found this place and it should not be missed! Excellent, fresh food. App of salumi and cheese plus meatballs was excellent. Had superb entrees- rigatoni and orrichetti dishes. Hearty and well seasoned. Ambience is both cozy and sophisticated. Server was superb. Always attentive, very friendly, and really knowledgeable. Parking is the only downside but completely worth hiking many blocks for this gem. Would return many times if I lived here.
Started out fine. At some point the waitress totally forgot about us. Then seemed annoyed when we waved her down after she passed our table several times without acknowledgement. I had some autumn stuffed pasta. It was over cooked and rather dry.
OR is one of my favorite dining spots in Grand Rapids because the food is consistently good. It’s a great spot for happy hour. I highly recommend the Octopus salad, any pizzas, rigatoni and all the chef specials.
Great food and wine as usual. The noise level is very high, so talking across the table was challenging. I was here on a date, so conversing wasn't easy.
Usually a favorite spot in GR, last visit was underwhelming. The bolognese was delicious as always, but the steak we ordered was not even close to being cooked correctly. Also the garbanzo beans were crunchy. Flavors were their just wasn’t executed. Server was friendly. We will be going back, just hopefully we will have better food next time.
Very modern feel, but small feel as well like a nice local bar in town. I would recommend it to anyone for some good Italian eats.
Service was fantastic. Only wish there was more menu options.
Server was a true professional. All the food was top notch!
Absolutely love the happy hour at OR!
This was a lovely restaurant in Grand Rapids. My sister and I had a table near the window. We enjoyed a glass of red wine to each of our liking, she preferred a bolder one and it did not disappoint. We also enjoyed an appetizer of the 3 marvelous pates. Our entrees were delicious. Goat cheese pasta and pan fried trout. An absolutely perfect dinner experience!
Pre-symphony dinner with friends who had sampled at restaurant week. The Key Limecello Fizz was a refreshingly fun cocktail and we shared the Farm salad to start - great smoky flavors. I love meatballs and theirs are just what I wished for: savory and juicy. Two of us had the meatball appetizer for our dinner; with the bit of salad plenty of food for the ladies. We licked our plates clean.
The menu has a nice variety. The noise level was a bit high for one of our party that has hearing aids, causing a lot of background noise.
It was my boyfriend’s 30th Birthday and everything was phenomenal! Food is amazing and our server Emma made us feel so special!
Food did not disappoint, one of my favorite spots in the city
Food was very tasty! However, we did have to wait an additional 30 minutes to get seated, even with a reservation. It also took an hour for us to receive our food after ordering. Overall, the restaurant was beautiful and food tasted great, but definitely wish there hadn’t been so much of a wait for everything.
Very relaxed atmosphere. Since it was our first visit to this restaurant the waitress (sorry I forgot her name) gave us very good recommendations. She did a very good job throughout all dinner. The food was very good.
We've had a party of four and it was strange that they were bringing the main courses one plate at the time with a few minutes in between, so we could not start our dinner together and waited until they brought all plates. Other than that, we've had a very good experience over there.
Second visit. Our server Kristen was excellent! She suggested without being pushy, was attentive but not overly so. The food was delicious! We enjoyed everything we had and will definitely return!
Lovely intimate dinner for restaurant week. Food and drinks were a little slow coming out but both were fantastic and hot once served
Restaurant Week was the occasion. 3 out of 4 ordered the special restaurant week menu and all 3 of them were very satisfied. I ordered from the regular menu. I ordered 2 items that I had ordered several times before and was therefore familiar with. Both in taste and size. I was extremely disappointed in both. The biggest disappointment was how management handled this.
Our party of 4 visited during Restaurant Week. Everything ordered was smaller portions of regular menu items. All were very good, including the desserts. We're looking forward to returning for other regular menu offerings
Service was slow, despite not being busy. Food was cold and undercooked. The waitress brought the food before our wine and then would disappear. Also noticed the table to our left had cold food and took a long time to get his back, the other table to our right spoke about waiting a long time for their food to come after their appetizer. Also had to grab napkins off another table since we never got any.
Would not recommend to a anyone and would give 0 out of 5 stars if possible. Waitress was named Paige. Disappointed to say the least.
We had a lovely server. I was very disappointed in The Margarita, served in whiskey glass and was very sour and They were out of Chicken dishes!
