This place is a gem in west Toronto downtown. A little pricey, but worth it for the quality of food, the attention to detail, the ambience, and the impeccable service. Surprisingly, I was able to get a reservation on relatively short notice but that will probably change, unfortunately, when the word gets around. I'm looking forward to the opening of the upstairs bar!

Really enjoyed the food. The family sharing idea they do is actually a good option. You get to try several dishes and the price is still reasonable. Lots of staff that take care of you throughout your dinner. Food was fresh and delicious

Menu not interesting. Too many fried foods. Pasta really undercooked. Octopus tough and rubbery. Presentation on plate not attractive. Wine list skews to many high end bottles with limited selection of reasonably priced. This used to be an excellent restaurant. I wonder if the chef or management has changed.

Community Italian with old world atmosphere and menu. Limited choices with excellent appetizers, small portions and large portions. Excellent Italian wine list. Could not be cleaner. We sat in a covered outdoor area. Easy to get there from major hotels by Uber. Much harder to get back but safe.

The food, ambiance, and service were quite extraordinary. Our server, Victoria, was attentive, thorough, and a delight to speak with. She explained the menu and specials in detail and ensured our birthday celebration was special. Great ambience with Motown music all night, and a wonderful large table off to the side for our party to engage in conversation privately. The food was amazing. I’d suggest splitting multiple appetizers, pasta portions are great for a single serving, and main courses can be split throughout. The hazelnut torte and pistachio ice cream are a great way to complete the meal. Will be visiting again!

Our server Daniel was phenomenal. This is the second time we have been served by him and he is really personable, accommodating, knowledgeable, and overall super sweet! The food at Rialto is also great - inventive yet unpretentious classic Italian fare. We love the ambience, food and service here!

The patio is a wonderful place to enjoy cocktails and delicious food. The vibe is super friendly and a bit upscale, which we loved. It felt a little more special than a regular patio, which fits with the menu being a little more unique and imaginative. Our server, Isaiah, was there exactly when we needed him. He certainly added to our overall enjoyable experience. We will return!

The food was good but a bit pricey for the vibe of the place. It was a very casual place with prices of fine dining. Food was great, service was amazing and beyond. Was good enough for one time but I cant say I would go back esp. because it was quite far from our home.

The waitress was not able to clearly answer my questions re:dish ingredients such as cicoria and I feel like she made things up. If you are unsure then just say that. Fennel and cicoria are not the same things !!The portions were very small for the price. Wine was lovely Glad we tried it but would only return if there was another venue. Super convenient.

Absolutely terrible. Will never go back. Waste of money and a huge embarrassment in front of my date. Food came out cold as if it was sitting out for a while. Steak was tasteless. When notified the waiter, he took the steak back to the kitchen seemed like he warmed it up in a microwave cause it became extremely chewy. When asked for wine, they brought out a wine expert. The recommended wine was complete opposite to what we had asked. We paid for the wasted bottle and ordered a new one. They took the steak off the bill. But you expect a manager or an owner to come out and apologize for such a shameful dish at the very minimum. We needed grabbing a sandwich at a local bar for dinner.

We had booked the private room at osteria rialto for a birthday event as we had a group of 14 and heard that they had a good family style menu. We made the reservation and had contacted their event coordinator. There were two different sample menus $75/$100. Our group chose the $100/person menu. We were told that the only change on the menu would be the steak course. When we get there, no mention of any changes to our menu we're communicated to us. We noticed that the calamari, octopus and triangoli options were not served and brought that to the server's attention. He went and spoke to the manager and came back with a 5% discount and a said he would take care of one of the full. Sample menus since we had brought an extra guest. I told him our reservation was for 14 and not 13 like he suggested. We weren't happy with the fact that the manager didn't even come to our table and also didn't even know what our reservation size was supposed to be. We were told not to worry and they would reach out to me the next day to come to a resolution before charging my card. Nobody reached out and then they charged my card. Disappointing dinner, the food was mediocre and the service ended up being pretty bad. Would not recommend for a large group.

The food was very good! Excellent dishes, but the service was not good at all. The waiter made mistakes, forgot plates and drinks, was not around the table frequently, we had to wait 20min between dishes because she did a take out order on time. But as I mentioned before, the food was very good, I would come back, I am sure it was only a atypical issue.

We usually tend to go to big chain restaurants, but this time we wanted to try something new! It was really nice getting to eat authentic Italian food and try some incredible wine! The family-style sharing courses were really fun and the staff was incredibly helpful when it came to assisting us with selecting dishes and drinks. It was honestly a really great experience and one I wouldn't hesitate to try again. Definitely pricey, but for something this special, it's incredibly worth it!
