Menu is limited and several items were not available. Street noise is loud if dining outside. Staff is very friendly.
The restaurant presents itself as having Modern Mediterranean Cuisine. However, the menu reads more like a French Bistro than a Mediterranean restaurant. Despite that the food was good and service very good. I'll go back.
Really liked this menu - something for everyone - nice ambiance and friendly service. Will return
Was there for lunch but will definitely be heading back for dinner and more of the magical truffle fries.
We had the place to ourselves, and yet the service was not great.
The food was ok but only ok. Nothing stood out.
So, all in all, it was just meh.
The food was delicious. Sitting outside was lovely.
The food is always fresh and well presented and the menu is updated with the current market.
Music is much too loud to the point of it being uncomfortable.
Service has been great in the past but this time it seemed like the waitstaff had problems coordinating.
Food has been consistently good. Never rushed. Missed Happy Hour that was removed for weekends.
Amazing food and great live jazz music
Met two friends , for outside dining. Very nice
Mediocre food at best. Subpar beef bourguignon and onion soup. Branzino was a tiny piece and not very tender. Salad was good. Mousse was meh. Congenial service but pretty sloppy. They gave me the coq au vin accidentally instead of the beef (though the base for the coq au vin was suspiciously similar to the base of the beef bourguinon!) and the other diners with me were almost done with their meal by the time my correct dish came. They offered a complimentary glass of wine but I asked for a comped dessert instead. The class move would have been to comp the dish, which I would have refused but it would have been nice to be asked. Lovely environment, which makes it such a shame that the food wasn't very good. Why is it so hard to find food on the Upper East Side that compares with the rest of Manhattan!
This will be my third time eating here and it never disappoints. Food is great quality and always delicious. Selection is fantastic, although I’m hoping they put their filet Mingnon back on the menu as their peppercorn sauce was delicious. Have never had a bad experience here and always recommend to friends. One of my go to places now on the upper east.
Great, host David was nothing short of a pleasure!
I did. Not get points for My meal.
Why is that?
They took forever to seat us and the food wasn’t even that good. I think it was like $25 for a bowl. Ridiculous
Food was good but service wasn't great. We waited for the food for a while, which would've been fine if they asked us if we wanted more drinks.
Service was timely and attentive. Food was hearty and flavorful.
Enjoyed food both taste and preparation. Two diners; one had salad with grilled salmon. The other had scallop dinner. Shared eggplant hummus appetizer.
A bit noisy as we sat outside. Very small table due to small outdoor area.
Really disappointing. Over 1 hour wait for food with no updates until the food came - that is when we learned they are short staffed. Slow service in refilling water, getting drinks, and the mimosas were almost all juice. I don't understand the good reviews - we ordered benedicts for brunch as the eggs were hardboiled and not poached! After an hour wait we just ate and left. For a $130 brunch it was really not acceptable. WIll not return.
Loved this place. From the greeting from the hostess, to our lovely waiter, to the manager coming by to say hello, just a wonderful experience. Great outdoor patio that wasn’t full when we arrived at 6:30, but was getting full by the time we left around 8:15. Good food too. I will be back.
Keep up good work
The food is always prepared carefully and with variations every few weeks.
The staff is beyond gracious and caring!
Loved this place. A beautiful space. The staff was delightful. And the French dishes we had were better than in Paris. Looking forward to coming back. Bravo!!
Hi, waitress was kind and attentive, manager, on the other hand, phew, where do I start? She gave us a greeting as if we showed up uninvited to her living room, she was walking around with a hammer nailing things around the patio, yelling at that poor old couple that was trying to check in. Discomforting.
Food is probably less than fair, steak tartare was somehow dry, blend, meat seemed old ,for 28$ they absolutely must do better. Buratta was drenched in some extremely sweet sauce, all sugar, had to remove the ball of buratta from the dish and wipe it with a piece of bread, just to make it edible.
Vegetable bowls were ok, however, very little,to no seasoning, had to put a fair amount of salt and pepper myself.
All in all, not coming back. Hope that our experience was an odd one,and place will do better in the future.
This is such a lovely place. What I love about it…… the food is authentic and not salty. It is made with love. They have a really nice brunch menu. The ingredients are fresh and they don’t mask it with salt!!! I’ve only eaten outside but the inside is really wonderful as well. The owners are good people who really care. Definitely try it out!
A gem of a find for sun brunch. Interesting chices, well prepared, lovely presentation, delish! and large portions. We sat outside, under the awning, which was good because it was so hot, but would have been even better if there was a fan to move the air. Looking forward to returning.
We sat "outside", the food was very good but the prices of a bottle of wine were shocking.
This was our first trip to the upper east side since Covid. the restaurant offered both temporary outside dining and inside dining. Due to the heat, we opted for the inside and were, originally, the only diners there. The food was excellent. I selected a chicken curry with apples, carrots, onions and basmati rice, which was very flavorful and not overwhelming spiced. My friend ordered the grilled octopus with feta, sun dried tomatoes, and orzo. The octopus was also very well prepared. We finished with very satisfying desserts. The only problem with the meal had to do with the staff. There was only one waiter and he was focused on the guests outside. The hostess served as our waitress and was distracted by a computer issue and a later arriving guest who had been a pre-pandemic regular guest. Once the staffing and computer problems are resolved, the food will be a major draw.
Delicious french Mediterranean fare. Very unique little spot, lovely for a date night.
Wonderful place. Service was very attentive, clean and charming inside. Loved the food. We had the mussels and mushroom bowl. All was delicious. They were kind enough to give us dessert as well. Highly recommend!
Attentive staff. Large selection on the menu. Tasty food at reasonable prices.
Food was fantastic but the service was lacking. I am only downgrading my experience based on service. We didn't see our original server the rest of the night after we ordered our dinner. We had to get the attention of other servers or hostesses to assist when needed. Wasn't a busy night, so not sure what happened. Again, the food is great. Maybe just an off night!
Excellent food and service. A great addition to the neighborhood. We will definitely return.
I loved the lobster risotto. my son loved his beef bourguignon; however, though the steak was very tasty, the meat was a bit tough. Waitress was terrific, as was the service. I would recommend it, but ask the restaurant to try to get meat which is more tender.
Small portions and expensive. Food was not warm enough.
Loved the service and the people and atmosphere. The good wasn’t the greatest.
Just perfect... a great dining experience.. excelente service, food it’s visually creative and a great menu for all tastes...great atmosphere and vibe..can’t wait to go back
A true neighborhood gem. Excellent service and food. We went for brunch and sat outdoors . The heaters made it very comfortable on a slightly chilly day. Covid precautions were followed 100%. We will definitely return !
