Amazing and knowledgeable staff and food was outstanding!
We weren’t seated until 20 minutes after our actual reservation. It seemed quite chaotic, someone maybe overbooked the books that night. I witnessed some pretty rude guests snap at the hostesses/maitre d’. We politely inquired about how much longer and expressed our frushtration, the response was very far from professional. After being seated we waited 5 minutes to receive menus as we were just looking around the room.(it is now 10pm our res was @ 9:30). The Som was very fixated on my price budget and only recommended wines at the brink of my budget which was so off putting. The bearded gentleman at the bar was a class act and was great. He seemed annoyed with the guests, as his bar was over run with people waiting to sit. The food saved the night from being a disaster. Pastas were amazing, meats perfectly cooked and all the food was hot on arrival. Mario batali can suck a fat one
Waitstaff was extremely rude. Sat us 35 minutes past our reservation.
It was my birthday and we had s group of 5 for dinner at Mozza. My partner took a cake to be served as dessert. Service was unusually bad, our waiter was standoffish and unhelpful. But food was delicious as always. At dessert time there was a big delay on bringing the cake.
Finally the general manager came out and told us that someone dropped the cake in the kitchen and he was very apologetic for the incident and comped the whole meal for us and brought every dessert available in the menu. A very nice touch!
Been wanting to eat at Mozza for a few years now and made reservations as an xmas present for my wife. Woke up in the am and turned on A Chef’s Table and out of pure coincidence it was the episode featuring Mozza! Set the day off correctly!
Great food, wine, service, and amazing bread.
Disappointed this time, the food was way too salty, we couldn’t even eat the pasta and the salad was overdressed.
Such a great experience. My table was able to meet Nancy and have her sign our cookbooks. Nancy and the entire staff were so friendly and genuine. It was an amazing experience!
On a scale of 1-10, this place easily ranks in the 11-15 range: exquisite food , impeccable and extremely service and one of the best wine lists encountered this year- truly spectacular from start to finish.
Hostesses with an attitude- will never return nor recommend d
While I'm usually not a fan of Italian cuisine, Osteria Mozza was able to create a memorable experience with each course more delectable than the last. Be sure to try at least one item from the mozzarella section of the menu, as this appears to be their specialty.
