We celebrated our wedding anniversary there and felt very safe and comfortable with all of their COVID safety precautions. It didn't damper the ambiance at all. The food was PHENOMENAL!!
One of the best if not the best Italian cuisine
While I realize we are all stressed and restaurants are clearly compromised, but compared to other high end Italian restaurant experiences I have had in the past few weeks, Mozza falls short of providing a friendly, welcoming environment. They probably think we’re lucky to eat there frankly! The owners were present and “observing.” Did they come to the table to say “welcome back?” No. They approached just a few people who they knew, and then sat down and ate dinner themselves! Very tacky. We will not go back despite the pork loin being great. Food does not alone account for your experience, especially at those prices.
Good time could of used a larger table for 4 people. The cork fee when you bring your own wine is $40 a bit high

I had a better grilled octopus in Union Restaurant. Antipasti are too oily. Pasta is expectedly good. Pork loin is tasty, but not lean enough. Service is too eager. I did not ask for the last bottle of still water. Torta fella Nonna is ordinary.
Our family enjoyed a wonderful dinner to celebrate Father's Day and birthday. The burrata appetizers and Caesar salad were outstanding. My wife said her cacio e pepe was as good as she had in Rome. Chef Nancy Silverton even greeted us and signed my Mozza Cookbook. Our first dine-out meal since March was truly memorable...
Mozza never disappoints. This was our first restaurant since the quarantine and it was spectacular and very safe ! Bravo !
We went there for my birthday last weekend. The food was amazing, I'm glad they had the Ravilio on their menu! They had a good system in place to follow social distancing. Highly recommend!

I went for my first time to Mozza to celebrate my birthday, and was so very excited. My excitement dropped a little bit though after the server correctly guessed I am in the hospitality industry but then was rude about having never heard of my restaurant. I followed with my sommelier certification is pending a (covid related) postponed test because she made me feel like my restaurant must be subpar.
Now for the food, pretty exceptional. The octopus was so perfectly cooked, but we were a little thrown off by the ice cold potatoes on the base of the plate. At least they were salted, but the cold temperature put off the excellence of the octopus. The corn filled capallacci we enjoyed were the star of the show, very succulent and perfect in every way. We ordered the duck confit and were confused why it was served completely plain with the corn "side" and pear sauce on a separate plate. We didn't order any modifications, this is just how it arrived. If the purpose was to prevent the confit from getting soggy, I still would have enjoyed my plate looking like a complete meal with the sides served on the plate, even if they were in separate dishes. Every other entree we saw get served definitely looked like a complete dish and even though we were sharing and dividing the dishes ourselves, it was confusing why our corn - which was also the least exciting of any part of the meal - was not on the plate. If this had been one of the conterno (side) dishes that would have made sense, but the corn was in the description of the dish so I didn't get it. They did send me a nice ice cream trio after we declined dessert, but I was really hoping to feel special on my birthday and left feeling a little deflated.
There is obviously a lot of talk of Osteria Mozza in town, it lived up to the hype.
The service was outstanding. They made all necessary accommodations to make the experience safe and healthy. The waitress knew the menu up and down was able to provide top notch recommendations.
The food was remarkably delicious. You could tell every dish was hand crafted by a talented Chef.
The dining room is beautiful. Nice and open. It was quiet due to the stricter capacity limits. It made for a great date night.
The whole evening felt like a nice family Sunday dinner. Amazing food, service, and ambience.
Probably the best dinner we have ever had at Mozza. Every course sublime. Get the shaved Brussels sprouts salad and the sungold tomatoes and mix both and thank me later. For Secondi both lamb chop and pork loin were just plain awesome. Finish it off with a bundino and coconut sorbet and caramel Gelato. Ah..... plus it was great to see Nancy Silverton back to her feisty self overseeing the restaurant.

I was disappointed in the food and value. I've been there a couple of times before. I remember the food being much better and I don't remember paying as much as I did.
Simply amazing. Ordered the Burrata and Bacon, Nancy’s Caesar, Taglitelle, and the Crispy Duck Confit. Everything was perfect

First dinner out since Covid hit in March. Restaurant took precautions to make the meal feel welcoming but also safe. Leeks and burrata was killer, cacio e pepe was mostly pepper, and the tagliatelle with oxtail was really good.
This place ticks every box for me. Ambience, fascinating food, high quality food, excellent wine list, well-made cocktails, everyone involved appears craft-minded. It's what a restaurant should be. Thank you, Nancy Silverton and the entire Osteria Mozza Team.
Everything was perfect
First time out to one of our favorite restaurants since the shut down, and Mozza did not disappoint. It does take a minute to get used to the new guidelines, but our waiter was very professional and gave us great service. Also great to see Nancy herself checking on tables and managing her restaurant!
The restaurant has excessively overbooked reservations. Although my reservation was at 8:45, I did not get seated at the table until 10:15 pm. What is more, has to wait outside of the restaurant, standing there with 30 other people who also had similar reservation time like mine.

Amazing, Osteria Mozza continues to be my favorite restaurant in Los Angeles. Food, service, and staff is all outstanding. We loved the mozzarella and leeks, octopus, orecchiette with sausage, and pork shank. Can’t wait to go back. They did a nice job of spacing out tables and having all staff wear masks, making diners feel safe and welcome.
We got to the restaurant 15 minutes ahead of schedule hopping to give the keys to a parking attendant but, there was not valet parking, so we parked on the stress after going around the block 3 times. We got our table and waited a bit for service but we order some wine, which was excellence, and order our food, the mozzarella was incredible, the waiter was hard to find behind his mask and face shield but the busboys ware on top of things, the octopus was kind of salty but very tender, the pasta was really good and the sea trout with the lentils it was just incredible, perfect balance of flavors with the herbs, balsamic vinegar and the crispiness of the fish skin.
Ps; don't forget to order the Rosemary Olive oil Cakes.

The grilled octupus, gnocchi with duck ragu, and duck confit are highly recommended. A reservation is necessary as the restaurant was full the night we went.
Excellent service with food to match. Gin cocktails involved lots of “boutique “ brands. What noTanqueray/Bombay/Hendricks ? Wine list a bit over the top price wise. Hard to find an Italian wine less than $85/bottle. The roasted artichoke app was fantastic!
There is something for everyone at OM. You can get a quick bite at the mozzarella bar or a fabulous multi course dinner. Constantly the best meal in LA.

2. Did not care for the current gnudi preparation....outside was doughy, chewy, hard......unlike previous preparations that were wonderfully light and "pillowy"
Always a great evening. Had guests there for the first time and they were very impressed. The wine list is spectacular; deep into Italy - a nice break from California wines.
Mozza Osteria is our go-to place for any Celebration; birthdays, anniversaries, just need a Mozza fix. They are friendly, accommodating (my husband's in a wheelchair,) and the food is consistently delicious and unique. I may come in in a so-so mood but I always leave laughing.
