When traveling to NY we would never miss a visit to Osteria Morini. The Torcía is outstanding!
The wine selection is exceptional . Reservation is suggested .

Great food, great atmosphere, good service. The specials are really good Italian food. The idea of having a “plateau” with diferent cheese and Italian meat as an appetizer it is a very good one.

Well I don’t want to get in trouble with my friends at the DC Morini, but the NY flagship has got it going on. They do fish so incredibly well here it’s hard to pass it up. The Branzino tonight was done to perfection. My friend had the Grimigna pasta, one of my all time favorites. If you’re looking for an amazing meal with some Northern Italian panache you’ve got to stop by.

I was very disappointed... found this place highly rated on Zagat, but the food was not good and the service was very slow... definitely not coming back.

I went to this restaurant a few years ago and it was a wonderful, elegant dining experience. This time it was pretty much a completely different place- not at all elegant, kind of loud, way more casual, generally not what we were looking for in a special dinner, so we ended up just having drinks and going somewhere else. The service was very nice though, and if I was looking for something less fancy I think it’s still a decent restaurant for good Italian food.

Wonderful as always! We love Osteria Morini (and even go to the one in DC!) -- fresh food, always delicious, and the pastas are truly authentic Italian :-) Thanks again for a sensational meal!

Outstanding food and service. Exceptional in every regard. The octopus was delightful, burrata heavenly, bolognese incredible, and pasta was very al dente. Maple pecan gelato was spot on as well. Top notch.

We are regulars. The food is always good and consistent. Staff are always so friendly. This is the first stop we always think of when friends are in town, if friends need suggestions and it's the place we come to eat whether or not we have special occasions.

Delicious food, as always. All their pastas are cooked to a perfect al dente, and a highlight for pasta lovers. Our waitress was friendly, professional, and offered honest suggestions that were driven by taste rather than price. Service was swift. The restaurant was very popular even on a weekday night, and it can get rather noisy when it is full, so don't expect quiet conversations since you won't be able to hear across the table.

We have just discovered this fine Italian restaurant this year while in NYC. The first time we went at lunch and my husband was so impressed with the food and wine we had to try their dinner menu. We were not disappointed. We discovered a new wine called Lambrusco. Not very expensive.
One of the best things about this restaurant is that , they make all their pastas in house. This time while in NYC we invited friends and they thoroughly enjoyed the food and wine. We usually dine at Lupa at least once while in NYC, but, this time we didn't even dine there. ThIs restaurant is a keeper!

The pastas are fantastic. Really great. Service was a bit sporadic at least in the beginning of the meal before improving later on. To be fair the restaurant was crowded. Speaking of which, not a lot of elbow room in the table area.

they charged 32 bucks for five wee scallops. The wine was way overpriced, like 17 for a normal glass. They forgot a key ingredient in our first course. Horrendously expensive for what you get. A joke of a place. Dull food, miniscule quantities, way overpriced.

Outstanding dinner. Everything we ordered was incredible. Shared appetizers - meatballs, buffalo mozzarella and arugula salad. Perfect. Love the bread. Each couple shared the breaded veal dish and tagliatelle with meat sauce and they were delicious. We all said when we go back, we wouldn't change a thing. Gelato dessert was great too!! Highly recommend!!!

They told us we had to be out of the table by a certain time before we sat down. We were 18 minutes late. Very annoying to be told that before you start a dining experience.

We waited more than half an hour for a meat and pasta. They didn't asked whether the meat would be grilled well done or medium. We saw that the meat was poorly grilled. They issued the bill and brought to the table although we didn't requested and said do not hurry please pay when you're ready. And 2 minutes later they came to check whether or not we paid. I would expect more quality for a lunch that costs 100 usd...

I purchased a Gilt city voucher for my wife and I to enjoy a three-course lunch. When we came to redeem our voucher, we were told that it was not valid on a Saturday. Unfortunately it said nothing about this in the fine print at all. We were given the choice of using the cash value of the voucher or to come back on another day. We chose to come back on the following Monday to fully take advantage of our voucher. When we actually did get to eat at the restaurant, we were less than impressed. The food was just OK despite rave reviews. We won’t be returning.

The food was excellent, very creative and the portions were spot on. The service was excellent for a busy evening. The wine list was very good if you knew some of the wines. Our Barola was very tasty and not too pricey. My only recommendation would be to add a few more price point wines.

Overall it was an excellent experience and if you eliminate the wine very very reasonable.
