First introduced to Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood in 2010, Osteria Morini brings the soulful cuisine and convivial spirit of Emilia-Romagna in northern Italy to Bernardsville, New Jersey. Known as the Italian Breadbasket, Emilia-Romagna is also the birthplace of some of the flavors and ingredients most commonly associated with Italian cuisine worldwide: prosciutto, mortadella, parmigiano, and balsamic vinegar.

In Italian, “osteria” means a place where the owner “hosts” guests, and we're excited to host you in our New Jersey home.

Corporate Executive Chef Bill Dorrler oversees the kitchen operations at Osteria Morini, led daily by Executive Chef Jonathan Rice. Osteria Morini’s wine list was curated to include wines native to this part of Italy.

We love this restaurant! As usual the food was delicious; we started off with the muscles and we recommend asking for extra bread to lap up the sauce. Then my husband had the tagliatelle and I have the ravioli. We recommend both. We saved room for dessert and had the fruit cobbler with vanilla gelato. Yum. A special shout out to our waitress, Sarah who was attentive but didn’t hover. The whole staff was a pleasure. The only negative was the very low lighting which made it difficult to see the menu.

The only thing bad about this restaurant is the number of people who have found out that it’s truly one of New Jersey’s best Italian restaurants bar none. If you were looking to find your standard run of the mill eggplant and veal Parm side of overcooked penne pasta this isn’t the place for you. Here they specialize in actual house made pasta, not like most places that claim to have it and really just buy it from an outside purveyor, along with a compliment of entrées that One would truly find in a small European family run Trattoria. The menu is small because everything is guaranteed to be fresh and expertly prepared from a simple roast half chicken to grilled New York strip. This is the kind of place that you go after you’ve gone to all the other so-called best Italian restaurants in New York and New Jersey to realize what they were actually shooting for but missed.

Great restaurant. Service and food were exceptional! Handmade pasta made great in house every day and you can taste the difference. Focaccia bread appetizer was wonderful. Crispy potatoes for the side dish cannot and should not be missed. And finally the bombolonis and tiramisu for dessert is a perfect way to end the meal!!

Food was fantastic. The "ambiance" was non existent. Our server was wonderful. For a high end priced eatery, it sorely lacks the "feel" of one.

$15 pasta Mondays totally worth it. Applies to all pastas except for those with seafood! Had a great meal!

loved the pianist perect tunes for the location. the martin was 21$ and that is outrageous. This is New jersey not NYC. The pasta dish was excellent. But 21 for a martini...no a special martini just a vodka martini is crazy.
