The servers were appropriately attentive and gave good recommendations when asked. Food was excellent. Great meal. We will be back.
Service was simply atrocious.. management ended up comping large portion of bill. I guess this is what 3% unemployment looks like.
Food and ambiance were great! Beautiful restaurant too.
First, the tagliolini bolognese was way too salty. We had just come back from Rome, Italy and no way did the pasta there was so much better. Second, we were seated in the front room next to a very large party with only a curtain separating us. They were so loud that we couldn’t hear ourselves talk. While I understand the desire to accommodate a large party it should be in a separate room OR control the noise to a reasonable level. The only joy was our server, Kerry.
Always amazing food! We love Osteria Mattone for any special occasion in our life. The food is absolutely on point. The service is top notch and the location is perfect for an intimate dinner for two or a large group. I had the lamb corzetti and it exceeded my expectations. I could tell the pasta was homemade and there was a great amount of the lamb ragu on top. My husband had the carbonara and it was super creamy and delicious as well. We were celebrating our anniversary this visit and received a personalized card from the restaurant and gelato for dessert. We will definitely be back. One of the best restaurants in Roswell!
Fresh ingredients, flavorful dishes, nice ambience, good service
Went here for a friends' get-together and we chose the outdoor seating (which is aahmazingly quaint). The food, service and atmosphere were outstanding from start to finish. I would highly recommend
Service was amazing! This was the first time the food quality was sub-par. It just seemed that our dishes were “thrown together” and not the usual quality meal and presentation we have come to expect. I hope it was only an anomaly.
Enjoyed a delicious dinner with my family there recently. Great menu, exceptional service, good value. You must try it!
We have been several times this year each tome does not disappoint
Wonderful experience at lunch. Not crowded, very friendly attentive service & delicious food! Outstanding
They provided a wonderful evening for our 43rd wedding anniversary. As always the food was authentic Italian and delicious. The staff was very attentive.
This was the BEST mushroom pizza and crust I've EVER had! And that speaks volumes as I do love Antico pizza but this one wins! Along with the amazing salad, the meal was superb!
Food was pretty good, not as amazing as last time(July). Cameron was our server and I have to say he did a terrible job tending to our needs. I ordered an appetizer and our friends needed a minute. He cam back after ours was delivered and never asked if they wanted something. Seemed even dismissive at times. Last visit Zach made our experience one to rave about. He’s amazing. Cameron just seemed disinterested. Probably my last visit for a long last gn time.
Took a long time to get food. My sea bass consisted of 3 bites.
My dietary restrictions are complicated and was handily quit well. This remains one of my favorite restaurants.
What an absolutely lovely restaurant. My husband and I went with life-long friends to celebrate our 23rd anniversary. The food was creative, yet authentic (and delicious to boot). Seldom to never do I drink coffee or have desert post dinner, but was so glad I did!
Race to dwadle (if you haven't been to this neighborhood gem)!
One of the best Italian restaurants I have been to on some time. If your a foodie this is a must for you.
Can’t wait to go back.
While the service was very good, the food quality has diminished. In the past the food was outstanding this was my first time going there for dinner. I think I might go back for lunch but not dinner again.
The salmon was outstanding and I am not a fish person. Our server was Kerry and she was outstanding.
Our waitress was outstanding---fun, relaxed, but very patient and professional.
We were welcomed warmly upon arrival and seated immediately. Our waiter was pleasant and very knowledgeable regarding the menu which allowed us to make informed decisions. I ordered the Burrata which features the house-made mozzarella and delicious heirloom tomatoes. I also had the Agnolotti di Oxo which is a ravioli made with house-made pasta and wine braised short ribs in a brown butter sauce. This is truly an exquisite dish, just a lot of food. You may want to split it. My companion had the Polpo, braised octopus with a frisee salad (see attached photo). It was also first class. If you are ever in Roswell, this restaurant is a must do.
Great food and service in a beautiful location. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Would definitely recommend the restaurant.
Every time that I have eaten in this restaurant, I have not been disappointed. The food is fabulous and the waitstaff is wonderful.
This was one of my favorite restaurants until the other night. Poor service, over cooked food, lengthy wait time for food. They didn’t seem to care.
Wow! I’ve been searching for real Italian food in Atlanta forever and now I’ve found it! What an absolutely perfect meal. The restaurant itself is very nice and comfortable and it’s the perfect volume - not so quiet you feel you need to whisper but not so loud that you can’t hear across the table. The service was perfect with just the right amount of attention. The food was worth every penny. Their award winning meatball appetizer deserves all the accolades it receives. The bolognese was a real treat and somehow light and hearty at the same time. We also had the branzino which was perfectly done and had a wonderful light sauce on it. Go to this restaurant - it is spectacular and you will definitely want to go back again and again.
The outside atmosphere is amazing. The food was very good. A little on the pricey side.
We love the pizza and have had outstanding dishes in the past, one of our dishes on this visit was badly prepared with over the top lemon in a goat cheese ravioli and basically inedible. Staff was very apologetic and removed from our bill.
Ashley was awesome. Thanks
We elected when reserving to sit at the bar, which was a mistake as the bar is nothing special. The grilled artichokes were phenomenal and the cocktails were unusual and delicious. The outdoor seating looked very nice, as did the rest of the place. Valet parking, $5, I think. Pizza were good. I would go back and try sitting outside. I would go back just for the artichokes.
Met friends for dinner. Had a reservation and were seated immediately. The mussels appetizer was wonderful. We had two different pasta dishes and both were excellent.
Fabulous food, exquisite decor, outstanding service, and lots of choices on the menu. What more would a diner want?
We all really enjoyed our food, drinks and excellent service!
This was our first trip, and it was for brunch. I am not a brunch person, but we had out-of-town guests, and they wanted brunch. I had research to do since I wasn't familiar with brunches in the area. It did not disappoint. The food and service were good, and the prices not bad at all for generous portions. I would try it for dinner next time.
An enjoyable Saturday breakfast. Delicious food, quiet atmosphere, excellent service. Beautiful patio for sunny mornings.
My daughter and I had a “date night” here. First time visiting this restaurant. Food was fantastic, as well as the service. I am not generally a fan of pasta; however this Italian food was absolutely fantastic. Something on the menu for everyone. A definite must try in Roswell.
The food was great. The see service very good. We had a very enjoyable evening. Definitely will come again
Food - absolutely excellent.
Service - ideal. Perfect.
Price/Value - a little on high side but not outrageous.
Seating - we were the only ones seated in our section. Then, the hostess sat a table of 4 right next to us (inches away). seems they could have chosen any other table. This is a pet peeve of mine. Why do they do this? Put a damper on our otherwise perfect evening.
I had previously dined at Osteria Mattone for brunch and the food was delicious. I also loved the ambience and setting - indoors - as well as the old historic Roswell area. I came here for dinner and have to say I was disappointed. the bread was good; the arugula salad I had was awesome. I usually think that if a place can do bread and salad well - tasty, not overly salted/dressed, but brimming with flavor and freshness, that it's a good sign. However, I got the often reviewed and raved-about Agnliotti D'oxo and was disappointed in the meat being very packed and dense feeling/tasting. The dish was good but not over the top good and I would not get it again. it was very filling though. The seafood pasta another person got was very good (not uniquely so) but the seabass was just ok. It was somewhat dry and the presentation of a whole fish (we asked for the whole fish vs. fillet) looked very plain. I did not think overall that the price and the reviews I had read online matched with my experience. I may come back again for brunch or dine in next time and try the appetizers, but likely will try a few other places for special occasion meals before I come back here. I really wanted to like this place because the ambience is very nice, but it was a bit too hit and miss for me, for the price.
Evan was wonderful- engaging and attentive!
