Our experience was fabulous! Very knowledgeable and attentive servers. We celebrated my niece’s birthday and everyone was so sweet to her. Great brunch!
Great restaurant for a romantic Date .. good ambience
The food was excellent as always. Since I can never decide on just one pasta, they allow 1/2 orders! Twice as good! The service was superb.
Absolutely one of our favorite restaurants. Always such unique pairings of foods.
A wonderful evening with perfect wine, amazing food, and a very good staff.
Went for a Valentine lunch. Everything is right up to expectations. The lunch special of soup/salad is very satisfying and a reasonable price. Service was also top notch, as it was for a recent brunch. Not done dinner yet, but can’t imagine anything less.
Valentines date with my daughters....
Great food and service!
Nice food! Antipasto fantastic! Meatballs are the Best! Short rib ravioli to die for. Sea Bass incredibly awesome!
Nice wine! Salt Carmel Bread Pudding was amazing! Great Service!
The restaurant wasn’t super crowded, and it felt like they crowded everybody into the same small area, Rather than spreading us out a little bit so we weren’t on top of each other’s conversations
Great atmosphere, great wine, great service and really, really good salmon. Will definitely be back!
This is a very good local Roswell option if you are looking for good food, an energetic atmosphere and superior service! A good selection of wine and dessert made the evening most memorable for my wife and me. Ask for Zac to serve you; he is friendly, professional and exceeded expectations with service!
There is nothing bad to say about this place....only GOOD! 5 stars all the way
Excellent dinner and our server Zac was great. Everyone was so attentive. Thank you for a wonderful early Valentines dinner
Perfect evening for our Pre-Valentine's Day dinner!
Quality, portion, service and wine list exceeded expectations!
A must for any event or celebration. Clearly a "10" for dinner.
This is one of my favorite spots to have simple Italian food the way it’s meant to be enjoyed: with excellent ingredients and a nice, calm atmosphere in which to enjoy and digest. One unusual thing did happen on my recent visit: it took a while for a server to visit our table. Upon my request for service to the manager, she insisted this was not their standard and did not charge for the meal. Our server was highly attentive, professional and thoughtful when considering recommendations. I would have paid for the excellent meal if the manager let me. Alas, I pay with these words of high praise. I am a commissioner of Italian food and this is one of the best places you can find in this region of the country. Oh lord, I hope I haven’t made it difficult for myself to get a table next time. Enjoy!
Wonderful ambiance, the food was delicious and I would come here again for a special occasion.
We sat on the patio as it was almost 70 degrees. In February!! Kerry took excellent care of us, as usual.
Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality.
Usually a good restaurant but tonight seemed a bit off center for what is expected at Osteria. Food took almost an hour. Vegetables were drowning in oil, did not taste and were barely warm. Pasta dish seemed smaller than usual and was barely warm. Pizza was barely warm. Server was decent, confident, accommodating, and friendly so it sounds like the kitchen may have been way off typical standards here.
Gorgeous Saturday afternoon, we sat outside on the lovely tree-lined patio. Their patio is set way back from the street, you are not breathing car exhaust and hearing auto noise. Hard to find really good Italian food in Atl. Look no further. The sausage/peppers w/ pasta w/ black pepper as well as the meaballs are amazing. Best meatballs in the city. Wonderful servers—listen to your server’s recommendations. The wine list is outstanding.
There were four of us and we sat outside in February. It was a wonderful. We all ordered different things and all enjoyed. My husband got the pancakes and they were absolutely fabulous, the best in town. Our friend you met us there walks with a cane and was able to park right in front and walk right to the table. We will return.
Great food and love the ambiance.
This was our first visit to Osteria Mattone, and it won't be our last! The food, service, and atmosphere was all wonderful!
Restaurant week selections were amazing! Service and wine excellent
Delicious!! Went for dinner and another time for lunch. Awesome food. Great servers!!! Can’t wait to go back again!!!
I like everything about this restaurant except for the noise. We were sitting near a wall in the back and was still very noisy. Hard to hear the person you are with. There was a large crowd that night.
Once again, amazing! We went for the Winter Wine Tasting (which was excellent) and stayed for dinner. An added bonus is that it was Roswell Restaurant Week! Great choices and full portions - not a smaller portion like most restaurants will do for restaurant week.
Always one of our favorite restaurants. Staff excellent and caring. Food spot on as always!
Wonderful as always! Delicious food, outstanding service and great atmosphere.
We enjoyed another wonderful evening at Osteria Mattone. Everything was great. The service and food could not have been better. We were there celebrating our 50th anniversary. We really enjoy a restaurant that is quiet enough to have a conversation.
I went to Osteria Mattone for lunch with a friend during Roswell restaurant week. We both ordered the soup and pizza special which was a good price for $15, but is always on the menu for $16. Would have expected a better and more creative choice for the lunch offering during RRW. We both had the tomato soup, but it tasted more like a thick tomato pasta sauce with a little cream added. Would not recommend the tomato soup, but the pizzas were large and very good.
Food was excellent as usual - service was very slow, not because of wait staff but I think backed up in the kitchen for Restaurant week lunch crowd. I just thought someone should have kept us up to date on why it was taking so long since groups arriving later were served quicker
Hi I was disappointed, I had been at the restaurant during the summer and I thought the food was good but the arugula salad was more lemon juice and very little oil and made it dry and acid, the fish was tasty but over cooked and fish was dry . The olive oil that you serve with the bread is not the best quality oil , The artichokes need a little less clove spice, On the dessert, that was very good! I am very sorry but being Italian and used to very good Italian food this was not what I will recommend . I was planning to come back on the 6th of February but after the dinner I am trying to find an other place, Giovanna
A really great restaurant made even greater with Restaurant Week prices.
A regular favorite of ours and have always had rave reviews. The Polpette appetizer was fantastic. Would love to know how they make them so incredibly light.
My Grilled Pork Chop was perfectly cooked and the gold raisin sauce was unique and delicious. My wife's seared scallops were cooked well although they seemed to were a bit gritty. Slightly below they're usual excellence but one strike over many visits will not deter us from returning.
Great food and unbelievably great service.
We enjoyed the restaurant however I felt it was very expensive for what we got. The artichoke entree appetizer was very small, about two pieces for each of us and it cost $13. I had fish and it was good but the skin was very salty and hard to remove. I did enjoy the broccolini that accompanied it. My husband had a ravioli dish stuffed with short rib meat. He enjoyed it but there was no accompaniment. We skipped dessert. The restaurant is very attractive and there was a moderate crowd.
Great atmosphere great restaurant overall eaten there many times. The food today was wonderful we had the specials brunch the pork roast and eggs delicious. As well as other side’s service was fantastic the price is right I love this restaurant another plus to Canton Street in Roswell
We enjoyed our dinner the food was amazing and service outstanding. We will be back.
I had the sea scallops, they were perfectly done and paired well with the risotto. My wife had the pasta carbonara, it was delicious.
