Evan was an excellent server !
I have visited three times and have always enjoyed the food and the service. Stylish and tasty menu -not overdone .
Overall disappointing. It used to be impossible to get a reservation last minute on a Saturday night. No problem now. Strange food combinations like scallops with vanilla. Strawberry moustardo? The artichokes were really unpleasant- tasting like a bottle of cloves was dumped on them. The pork chop was as stiff as a saddle and was left 90% uneaten. I'm regretting buying a gift card for this restaurant. I have $350 remaining. Maybe their other venues provide better food.
We have enjoyed each visit and will return often.
Have been multiple times but this time the service was spotty and did not know the special well enough to explain it, and the food was ordinary. Pasta was pasty, overcooked and the detail just wasn't there. A lot of people there that evening but numbers belie a slide in service and prep of the dishes served. However I like the menu and will try again on a slower evening.
Nice manager, nice server. Very noisy speakers, with music blaring constantly. Only two groups in restaurant and we were seated side by side, not very private.
wow. i don't know why anyone would go downtown for dinner. Roswell has it all. This is by far my favorite place in Roswell. Outstanding food, service, and ambiance. The wine selection was amazing - you can't go wrong with any picks here. Can't wait to eat here again!!
Best Italian food we’ve had in quite some time. Pizza reminded me of some we had in Tuscany! Nice crisp crust. Great carbonara. Wine list (including offerings by the glass) were quite good. Overall a great experience. Will definitely dine here again.
It was my mom and dad’s anniversary (my dad couldn’t be there) and of all places in metro atlanta we chose this restaurant, only to be utterly disappointed and disrespected! I wanted to toast them with brunch. I never order mimosas but I thought it would be fun to say cheers to their long and Happy marriage! Especially because I saw a whole tray of mimosas be served to three tables in the garden. When I ordered mine i was told that the law doesn’t allow serving of alcohol until 12:30pm. It was 11:45am. So I asked how come these tables are getting all these mimosas. I was told that those were complimentary and as such not subject to the legal restriction.... I have never heard anything more hypocritical in my life! At this point it wasn’t about the mimosa at all but about the disgusting disrespect that the manager generously laid on us! I didn’t order anything! I couldn’t wait to leave this place! They also generously showed that the feeling is mutual! The manager who was on the street as I was driving off made it a point to even show me a quick middle finger..... wow! Class-less as they come! Never setting foot there again! Or in any of their chain restaurants! Terrible and most disappointing on this special day! Shame on you!
Always a pleasure
First time there. Loved it! Food was awesome. Service was great. We will be back soon!
Birthday party for friend. The complimentary dessert was a nice touch. All the food was delicious. A coffee order never came. Everyone was friendly and welcoming and happy to see us. The birthday girl felt great about our lunch.
Once again, everything was great. Perfectly fried, greaseless calamari, exceptional pastas and excellent sides. The glass/quartino wine program offers excellent wines and a chance to sample new things. We've never had a bad experience here.
We really enjoyed our visit to Oesteria Martine; I'm glad a good friend recommended it. Brian, our waiter, was exceptional, and made great recommendations to each of the four people in our group. I had the lamb on his recommendation and would definitely order it again. The setting is very nice and there is valet parking, which really helps in Canton Street in Roswell.
Excellent as always. But we missed seeing Ted as he is always helpful with wine. Although the waiter seemed knowledgeable.
It was amazing as usual. I love the atmosphere and how polite and sincere the staff is. Not to mention how AMAZING the food is. You gotta get the speck pizza and lemon risotto!
Upscale, trendy, Italian restaurant in the downtown Roswell area.
We were taken care of by an amiable young man named Adam. His service was timely, efficient and thoughtful.
We dined on a variety of selections that were pleasing to all and very flavorful.
I chose to eat off the appetizer menu and enjoyed the Polpette braised veal meatballs, the Polpo, which was two tender, large tentacles of nicely braised octopus with accompaniments, and the Salsiccia, my favorite; spicy fennel sausage ragu with peppers and onions. All were very savory and delicious.
My companions ordered the Agnolotti di Oxo, short rib stuffed ravioli, and the Tagliolini Bolognese, traditional beef ragu. Both were pleased with their selections, as well.
A very extensive Italian wine menu appeared to cover all the regions, however we brought our own for a $20 corkage.
This restaurant appears to do it right with both food and staff.
Tables are too close, room is too loud.
Birthday lunch for friend Ate inside this time. Have come to lunch on patio- very lovely!!
Were the first ones there when restaurant opened. Service was prompt and kind. Ivy was our server and she was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Food was good, especially the veal meatballs!
Ladies who do Brunch~ Perfect!!
Lovely staff, beautiful home turned into a polished restaurant
Excellent brunch and great service!
Had to request a better table.....celebrating a special event and initially seated right next to another couple. Was able to make a change to a better table. Meal was good, not excellent. Wine was very good, little pricey. Overall good experience, not great.
Osteria Mattone is our favorite restaurant in Roswell and perfect for any dining experience. We’ve had fancy birthday meals inside and amazing brunch on the patio with our baby. The food is always incredible.
Always excellent food and service.
Great place! I had the AGNOLOTTI DI OXO which is BRAISED SHORT RIB stuffed in ravioli.
IT was amazing.
Awesome wait staff. Not hurried. Food yummo!
This was our first time here and we loved it! Our server, AJ, was outstanding and took extra time to cover the menu since we were new. Both our appetizers were delicious (grilled octopus and calamari). For our entrees we selected the short rib ravioli and the sea bass. The sea bass perfectly cooked and the sweet onion sauce was so good with it. The peach sorbet was the light and sweet ending to a delicious meal. We will definitely be back soon!
The food was delicious. It is one of our favorites.
Celebrated our anniversary - wonderful food and service.
We had a party of 8 to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. There was a Happy Anniversary card signed by all of the wait staff. Our waiter, Zach, was outstanding. He really knew the menu and was very attentive. A good time was had by all!
Dined here on Father's Day as per my husband's request. This has become an annual event! Once again another fabulous meal and even though it was crowded, the attention to detail was not lost! The summer menu and new cocktails are amazing and we even managed to have dessert this time. We never felt rushed and timing for courses was perfect. Bravo to a restaurant that does things right!
Osteria is our favorite restaurant in Roswell. We visited for Sunday brunch with my parents and son for Father's Day this weekend. The menu didn't have any kid options, but our server easily accommodated us by allowing us to order a pancake for our 5 year old. The food and drinks were great as always and our server was great with being patient with us and also anticipating needs.
Delicious Father‘s day brunch. So many incredible choices!
Went for Father’s Day brunch. Food and service was great as always. Our favorite patio in Roswell!
Amazing service, best meal I’ve had all year. Get the flourless cake and a latte for dessert!
Our favorite Roswell restaurant. Always enjoyable and delicious! The ambiance is wonderful!
OSTERIA MATONE is my favorite Restaurant..
