About this restaurant

  • Good for special occasions
  • Neighborhood gem
  • Great for fine wines
The story of food is the story of friendship. When you combine Irish conviviality with the irrepressible Italian nature, it’s always going to be a good thing. Chefs Ross Lewis and Luciano Tona have been friends through Michelin starred food, and tall tales, for many years. At Osteria Lucio they unite their love of Irish and Italian food with the very best of produce, from both countries.

Probably one of the best meals we've had. Excellent, friendly customer service and the waiters were able to answer our questions about the food, how it was made etc. Wonderful

The young team of waiting staff were very knowledgeable and confident in the menu and professional The food was well prepared and using seasonal produce and full of flavour I couldn’t recommend this place enough for a relaxed enjoyable place to spend time with family and friends They have created a real jewel in Dublins food scene Congratulations to all the staff managers and owners

The food was excellent; the service was very good, however, from circa 11:10 the wait staff were keen for us to go; taking our drinks off the table, asking us if we want anymore, tidying up around us. We were always going to leave at circa 11:45 anyway; however, the overall experience was diminished by this.

Lunch was a special 2 or 3course fixed price. A bit pricey but food delicious. Having travelled from Belfast for the day it was the highlight. We have only been there in the evening in previous visits and we were surprised at how quiet it was in comparison to evening.
