Excellent food attentively and graciously served in a restaurant with a good vibe.
The perfect neighborhood Italian restaurant to be in the Harlem neighborhood.
This restaurant that hasn't quite found its feet yet. The food and wine were good, but not exceptional enough to offset the overall impression that there was something missing in terms of the service and the ambience.
We had come a long way in from the North Bronx to try this place out but can actually find much better closer to home in Arthur Avenue.
Fun neighborhood restaurant; very attentive and friendly service. Will be back.
This place is our absolute favorite with amazing fresh food and exceptional service. We come here for lasagna and chicken parmigiana. Love it!! Also desserts are always on point. Definitely recommend!
The food and vibe was great! But they seemed short staffed or something, because the service was quite slow and littered with mistakes (eg, not bringing enough utensil sets, forgetting about items we ordered, etc).
Laura, her father, and staff were all wonderful and accommodating. The food was excellent! I will definitely return.
The food was good and the staff was friendly. Not too expensive.
My experience at Osteria Laura was awesome because service was great and food delicious . The place is inexpensive for the quality of food provided . I had the Ribeye and eggplant parmigiana . Both dishes were extra yummy and the sangria that we had as cocktail was really good .
Definitely we are coming back !
The food was very good (well seasoned, hot, fresh) HOWEVER Laura is NOT practicing social distancing!! there were people sitting at the bar (some not wearing masks), individuals that ordered food online or directly through the restaurant were able to come inside and wait for their order even though the place is very small. There was a table of 9 sitting directly in the middle of the restaurant which obstructed people coming in and out of the restaurant as well as moving around. Unfortunately I will not recommend this restaurant or come back based on there social distancing practices...
Had lamb chop (5/5) and the lasagna (4/5 - no red sauce) and will definitely return for the food, value and service!
Loved Talla ! Definitely coming back just for good eats and drinks
Great food great service and they were very nice to my 9 year old son
Went on a rainy night with a friend. There were four diners total at two tables. But everyone had a good time and enjoyed their mail.
The menu online is very different from the restaurant. You couldn’t purchase a glass of champagne as you have to buy the bottle. The selection is awful and the service is all over the place. We had to flag down someone to take our order. The waitress barely speaks English. I wanted a frittata but instead I got an egg white vegetable omelette with burnt toast.
Great place! Amazing food! Will go back!
Food is good, service is eh.
We made a reservation, expecting a nice outdoor dining experience. Instead, we had someone pull a table together on the sidewalk, where passersby basically just had to dodge the table. It was unattractive and felt as if they had just decided to throw it together that morning. We had to wait an extremely long time for service, and then it was inattentive. The food, while tasty, was served in plastic and had zero ambience. Just get take out if you're going to bother with it.
The food was really excellent, although we didn't particularly enjoy the plastic silverware. The food was so good, that we would all go back.
I was looking for Harlem restaurants on Open Table, and came across Osteria Laura. The reviews were very good, so I decided to try it. I'm so glad that I did. It's in a terrific location with really nice outdoor tables. I had the chef's salad with strawberries and almonds, the eggplant parmigiana and the nutella crepes for dessert. Everything was delicious. The prices were extremely reasonable and the service was excellent. A wonderful addition to the neighborhood. I look forward to going back.
I saw this lovely neighborhood restaurant from my bus trip home I e evening. It looked so inviting. I went early one night this week to check it out. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Not always the case for a solo diner. The menu is varied and well priced. Delicious Caesar salad followed by a tasty inventive Pasta dish. Cavatelli Ortolana filled with greens mushroom herbsssnd almonds. Nice selection of wines as well. I look forward to future visits to explore the menu.
