   This is our fifth year here, and before tonight, have always looked forward to coming here as our carb loading meal before running in the cape cod half the next morning. Unfortunately, our meals tonight left a lot to be desired. Although We were seated promptly in a very desirable location, after that not much more met our expectations. First, the bread they brought to the table was cold and stale. Then, our meat and cheese board, which was filled with 4 different cheese and 3 meats, were dropped off at our table with no information on what types they were, something that any high end restaurant we have been to in the past has always offered to identify. Our spinach and salad sides were good, but when our entrees of pastas came out, they were all lukewarm at best although the plates were hot, which made us all wonder how they could have prepared it like that, because clearly our pasta had been sitting for awhile. And lastly, when I made this reservation in open table, I was asked if this was a special occasion, which I responded that it was a birthday. Either the restaurant doesn’t even read those special requests or chose to ignore them because nothing was even acknowledged. I usually don’t even write reviews, and I should have just told our server, but after discussing our disappointment walking back to our motel, I felt that I need to express our feelings about our experience.

   They were busy but ready for us when we arrived. Our meal was delivered in a timely way without feeling rushed. Our server checked in without hovering. Best of all the meal was delicious and beautifully presented. Highly recommend.

   Best restaurant in Falmouth! It feels like you are dining in a cozy home in Tuscany. Can't get any better!

   Have eaten at this restaurant a few times; every experience was something to “write home about” with the exception of tonight. The waitress raved about the special lasagna with a bechamel sauce that people were calling ahead to reserve. We decided we had to try it since she made such a fuss about it! We also ordered the stuffed tomoato and the burrata salad. Well the lasagna was such a disappointment... dry... actually burned on the top... noodles were chewy and there was no sauce to speak of let alone a creamy white bechamel sauce. Such a let down after our waitress made such a fuss! The burrata was delicious but the stuffed tomato was horrible... it was stuffed with a breadcrumb paste of some sort... tasted frozen... as did the lasagna. I really have to say we were so let down. The waitress was understanding and without too much conversation she wisked our main dish away and offered something else, but we opted to finish our wine and partake in a tirmisu which ended up being delicious, but in no way made up for our disappointing main course.

   This is our go-to place when you want amazing Italian food in an environment where you feel like your in your grandmother’s kitchen. The fresh bread is served with the best olive oil, the pastas are all homemade, the wine list has some great offerings and the servers are always attentive and helpful. You are never rushed as you take the time to enjoy your meal and possibly splurge on a yummy dessert.

   Beautiful atmosphere, food was authenticity Italian. Waitress was so sweet and helpful. The food was amazing, we had the butternut squash tortelloni with sage and butter and it was perfect. Would highly recommend.
