   Massimo is a really pleasant server with endless information about the intricacies of this menu. He also knows smoothly and clearly how to adjust dishes to match the diner's food preferences/allergies. We especially like to walk here with our dog and have a leisurely meal with friends. The patio makes it perfect for all - 2 and 4 legged!

   Food was excellent! Service was top notch. Food came when it was ready and was the perfect temperature. The only negative was the Pinot Noir by the glass was not very good for $15 a glass.

   We had a wonderful dinner! The food was outstanding, although it does have to be mentioned - a bit pricey. BUT, enjoyed every minute at this restaurant. Massimo, our server was also outstanding and knowledgeable of the days menu. This is truly a hidden gem in the community!

   A hidden gem in Davis. Far enough away from downtown to avoid crowds, and the patio seating is like an intimate garden party. Incredible food made simply with high quality ingredients, and well worth the price. Service here goes above and beyond as well, and all of our servers have been able to recommend great wines. Absolutely worth a try for a special occasion.

    Another wonderful dining experience at Osteria! Massimo and Evan took great care of us and made our son’s first time there one to remember, thank you both - the service is always impeccable!! Linguine con Funghi, Veal Scallopine and the Surf & Turf - all fantastic. We are looking forward to our next time already!!

    Our waiter was great - attentive without being intrusive. He knew the menu and the specials inside and out. Very knowledgeable about ingredients, preparation, etc and helped us select a wine as well. Our meals were exceptional - beet salad with goat cheese was fantastic; polenta with cannellini bean ragout was exceptional; chicken. Piccata - a special that day - was perfect. A wonderful evening and a wonderful experience!

    We always love coming to this restaurant so much the food is exquisite and sitting on the patio is one of our favorite things the dogs get to come and the ambulance is glorioud. We love the staff everything about it is great!

    Wonderful atmosphere, food, and service. Our second time back in just a few weeks. My favorite is the mushroom pasta. Tried the octopus salad for the first time and it was good enough to be my entree. Best restaurant in this region for spending a nice evening with people you enjoy being with.

    Always wanted to dine here and we celebrated an important anniversary with dinner there on a recent weeknight. The service is fantastic--Patricia was our server and she was a consummate professional--great recommendations, helpful but inconspicuous service, and accommodated substitutions/replacements easily. Food was very good--not overly complex and executed properly. Ambiance is quiet--we sat inside on a weeknight evening and most tables were in use. Would love to eat outside next time on their veranda when the weather cooperates. Value met expectations--bill was about $100 per person but felt like we were well treated with excellent food as well as 'complimentary' wine tastings, digestifs, and tasting bites. Definitely look forward to returning.

    I love eating on the outdoor patio here everything about it is exquisitely good. It’s one of the better restaurants I’ve eaten in in my life and the ambulance is gorgeous and I love the wait people. Such a special place

    We love Osteria. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. The menu is fantastic and the food is always top quality. This place is a foodies delight with a beautiful outdoor patio in which to enjoy each course. The chief knows how to pair flavors and both gluten free and Vegan options are available.

    This remains the premier restaurant in Davis. The food is superb, service is flawless and friendly. The inside seating is comfortable, surrounded by current art works. Outside in warm weather is exceptionally pleasant; you'll think you're in Italy. Even in cool weather outside is acceptable, with the heaters provided for each table.

    Perfect, as usual. Our waitress recommended the parmesan mousse appetizer and it was fabulous! We paired that with the roasted beet salad and Prosecco for a perfect start. I had the chef’s special clam and mussel pasta and my hubby had the veal shank over risotto—both were delicious! I look forward to returning soon!

    We celebrated a birthday with family and it was a lovely evening. Our server was wonderful and the intimate table with the cozy fireplace on the patio was perfect. The food was delicious especially the beet salad and the pasta of the day. The pistachio ice cream was a nice finish!

    This restaurant never disappoints. The courtyard is beautiful for outdoor dining. It was a little chilly, but they have plenty of fire pits throughout, which keep things warm and add to the ambiance! Food was stellar as usual!

    Excellent food and service! We tried this place for the first time last month, and couldn’t wait to eat there again. So we did! I love the outdoor dining area, it’s nicely spaced out, has plenty of heating, etc. The food was great - I especially liked the quail. I eat cherry pie filling straight from the can tho, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.
