Awful food awful manager.
We had reservations for 6:30 on a Saturday. Two eighteen year old girls and a 49 year old mom. All diners enjoyed their meals and the service. The older gentleman who kept the water glasses full was particularly adorable. There are nice wine selections. The calamari and zucchini was fabulous and the pasta dishes were really good. They forgot my salad, but I was so full I didn't care. Dinner for three was $220.
Loud neighbor, crowded tables, service fine, gnocchi over cooked.
Great time - love the authentic cuisine. Vibrant atmosphere
Our service was borderline surly. They forgot to bring drinks out. They didn't split an entree like we asked. The bread was stale. Four of the five dishes we ordered were just bad! The passarelli seafood pasta was bland, weird, and just flavorless! (The one exception was the onion ragu over penne, which was OK.) All in all, for a very expensive meal, we were sorely disappointed. Go somewhere else. Olive Garden would be a better choice.
risotto was amazing. so tasty and burrata. wow! views are gorgeous. service was a bit slow as they were very busy.
As expected the food was fresh and good quality. The service was professional, courteous and attentive. Only complaint was that waitress was a bit too aggressive in pushing extra courses. We couldn't stay for desert and asked for check. She started reciting all the desert dishes even after we had said we didn't want anything. She also pushed truffle toppings on all the dishes. I've been to Umbria and Istria during truffle hunting season. Staff shouldn't assume that we are ignorant about truffle season and what truffles are.
Great food and service as usual. Recommend it.
The food ia great but the servive is overwhelming, overall is a must-repeat experience
Charcuterie amazing. Loved the view over the memorial.
I have been coming here since they opened and ALWAYS have the most pleasant culinary experience!!!
Delicious food, perfect service. Great view! Wine was delicious!
Outstanding food! Our server Giulia was wonderful. It's a bit pricey but look at location. Anywhere in that area is going to cost you some money. However when the food is this good you do not mind spending the money.
I booked for a birthday and to get family members together - family I see seldom because we live in Europe and they live in Westchester. We were rushed! The waiter was not friendly, and we were not informed that we had to leave by 8pm. Very disappointing experience.
Osteria della pace is always guaranteed to be a great experience all around.
Pasta dish was awful-overcooked pasta tasted like wet cardboard
Our visit at Osteria was amazing, the food is great but the exceptional service made our lunch a quite unique and memorable experience.
We celebrated my son's 19th birthday on Saturday. The food was delicious, the waitstaff was exceptional and the view amazing.
We went to Milan’s branch and had a wonderful experience
And wanted to repeat it. We did it right!
Food was great. Service was slow. They were clearly understaffed. Even getting water took forever.
Excellent service and cuisine as well as being next to the 911 Memorial.
Great and there was space between the tables so you could have a conversation
Enjoyed everything! The atmosphere, the drinks, the food! Would absolutely go again
I’ve been many times and have always loved this place. Great service. Great ambiance. And always great food. Saturday night however, the food was a bit disappointing. Had the salad with walnuts and it was drowning in pesto. The beet salad was good but should have had more beets and less endive. Octopus was delicious. The vegetarian pasta was good but not remarkable. Perhaps it was an “off” night. Will continue to go back.
It was hard to find the location. This place is one of the restaurants of EATALY group. So you can go to 4 World Trade Center 3rd floor and then you might find the sign in the EATALY grocery store.
The restaurant atmosphere is so romantic and night view of the NY was really nice. But we had to wait for the server and food. We ordered a pasta with lobster but the pasta was not cooked well. It was just hard. We asked more cook. After then, it was fine. They have a great wine list so I loved that. If you want a romantic place with a great night view, I definitely recommend this restaurant. It's worth a try.
Good food. Great place. Not suitable for business lunch. Food took too long to come to the table. In fact folks that came after us left before us. Although staff was apologetic, they did nothing to compensate for the delay.
This restaurant was amazing!! The food was incredible and location where they seated us was overlooking Freedom Plaza - so beautiful.
Food was just ok, entrees were not exceptional. We were seated toward back, so noise level was low. Wouldn’t come back as there are way better restaurants in area.
Not bad, but I was mislead by all of the good reviews... it’s New York, and it’s like eating at a mall.
The service, food drinks, all very good, great experience for the family
The restaurant is always a delightful experience and walking through the aisles of Eataly gives you a greater appreciation for how the food is prepared. The linguine all'astice was absolutely delightful.
The view and service were exceptional. Our dinners were prepared and presented perfectly and were exactly as described. My only less than exceptional experience was the noise level. It was a bit loud and difficult to hear the person next to me.
Excellent meal! Will come back again very soon! Presentation was wonderful.
Excellent experience. Food was outstanding, service great. What a fantastic New York find. Can’t wait to go back.
We ordered the veal ragu and the linguini with lobster. Both were excellent. The service was also first- rate.
I made a reservation specifically to celebrate my daughter’s 25th birthday. This was never acknowledged by the waiter. I was sitting next to my daughter in the middle of a circular table so I could not discretely mention it to him. I was very upset and told the manager on the way out. He “apologized” but did not offer anything more, no effort at service recovery at all.
The food was good but I have had better. The service was attentive but based on the above I will not be back or recommend this Osteria.
Great view, great food, and great service. Our waiter was so helpful and really improved the experience with his suggestions and overall service
Great food and great service. The restaurant has a very cool vibe and has great views of one World Trade Center
Awesome experience! The food is terrific and they do have a great wine list.,
I grabbed a seat at the bar facing the window to sneak in a quick lunch on a business trip. The service was excellent/on par with fine dining in NYC. The host, Christian Galliano, is also a Som, and while I don’t drink, he gave me lots of great referrals for places up and downtown to check out with my wife and foodie friends in addition to all of the great food and wine options throughout Eataly.
Am a big fan of Eataly in general, but this was an extraordinarily good experience. Highly recommend.
