It was fabulous. The food is delicious and the staff attentive.
Greta food and wine selection.
I was skeptical about going here, as we are very Italian and are seldom happy but are sooo pleased. Our meal from start to finish was fabulous. The service was great as well.
I wanted Italian food for my business lunch and found this on Open Table. At first I was worried since you enter through the mall entrance. But on the 3rd floor, there is a variety of food stations for more casual dining with this restaurant way in the back. Definitely a hidden gem. Great Italian food, great service and good setting for a business meal. The desserts were a work of art and delicious!
overall experience was fun and delicious. only complaint was that our table was not available to us upon arrival and when i was asked to wait at the bar i was overseen by all bartenders and not offered a drink there for quite some time. i can understand the press during an evening rush, but acknowledgement would have gone a long way in making me feel comfortable.
The summary is: meh. The food was mediocre. I was shocked to discover that I actually cook better risotto at home than what was served to me here. The sun was blasting into the eyes of my companion and the shades would not be drawn. Selection of wine by the glass is very limited compared to other restaurants in this price range. It is somewhat offset by well trained and hospitable staff, but not enough to justify the price tag. If you want to share a bottle of wine by the bar, it's a decent venue. Avoid the tables.
With any Eataly restaurant, the noise level is moderate +. The ambiance in the restaurant was nice and and bright. The servers were attentive. The food was tasty and the presentation was straightforward. The wine selection was extensive and NYC priced. Portions were decent and the preparation was very good. I’d go back.
We’ve been a few times before and love the ease of location to where we live.
The food at this visit was the best it’s ever been, every single thing we ordered was delicious.
It was lovely.. our waitress was fantastic!
All good! Excellent food. Great service. Wonderful value.
You cannot go wrong here--the food, drinks and ambiance are exquisite. It is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of Eataly, for a more private experience.
Excellent fare....I was there with a dear friend of mine and we said since we’re in the Big Apple....we best dine with the best of the best because that’s the only way to do New York City! We created our own 3 course meal and we enjoyed every bit of it; from the scenic view of the World Trade Center to the excellent staff, and the extraordinary wine list and menu! This place is a true gem 💎!
Friends came in to visit out of town
Great dining experience during restaurant week. 3 course meal with paired wine for each course. Delicious!
Great service. Lovely staff. Helpful, interested. Great waitress. Loved it!
The food was overpriced for what it was. Nothing special here. You pay for the location.
Intended to dine for Restaurant week, but menu was disappointment, with fried or non-meat options. Chose from regular menu instead. Bread selection of focaccia, 7-grain, and rustics were all stale. Olive oil ok. Salad of red endive and beets lacked flavor. Had to ask for pepper and salt. Tagliatelle with beef and pork ragu was delicious and pasta was al dente. Grated aged Parmesan was tasty. Other than pasta dish, rating would have been a two. Service was okay and draft beer was very good. Will try other Eataly restaurants to see if any better.
Bad service, they kick you out once the eataly market closes. We were seated almost a half hour after our reservation, around 9 for an 8:30 reservation. It was fine until around 10:15pm they started shutting down. There were still other patrons at tables but they took unfinished dishes and glasses without asking if done. They put the chairs on all the tables that were empty. They told us we needed to leave with 'c'mon ladies! We have to close!' It makes sense, this isn't a restaurant but a supermarket that serves food. Once the market closes, they kick you out. We paid $100pp but we were such an inconvenience to them. Food was subpar. The gnocchi shouldn't be called gnocchi. It's a shame bc the venue is nice.
Loved it the food was great they had a great wine selection
We went for restaurant week. It was delicious and service was lovely. The floor to ceiling windows were amazing.
The bread was too cold and a tad bland, and the noise was too loud for us to hear each other. Food was delicious! The sauces were very well made.
Appetizer (bufala mozzerella, olives and candy-like sundried tomatoes was very good. Bread was nice as well, and from on-site bakery. Pasta's were disappointing. Nice al dente dried pasta, but sauces did not have any real flavor to them. A bit disappointing thus overall.
It was a really good experience and I will definitely go back. The waitresses were lovely, happy to serve and help.
My go-to place in Fi-Di. Great food, great drinks, great ambiance.
Decent food but very over priced. Because of the location it is worth it.
Absolutely nothing to says just
Has a very pleasant evening here! They were kind to alter my reservation time and then we got a solid table. Shared the ravioli and the tagliatelle. Loved them both. They split them on shared plates nicely. Had the 5 dessert option at the end- a couple of them weren’t so great but still lovely presentation.
Would go again
Great place for excellent leisurely dinner great food and ambience
better than place at Eataly we ate at last year—more private. I had the very good lamb dish, and we shared the very good scallop appetizer—three large diver shrimp perfectly cooked. We got the chef’s dessert, which was a little of everything—delicious.
Great service! Loved the variety of bread to start and it only got better from there. The pasta reminded me of pasta I had in Italy. It’s in a beautiful setting (even though it’s in Eataly it feels like an escape) and the floor to ceiling windows have great views of lower manhattan and the west side.
Cocktails and wine were excellent. One app was excellent the other was mediocre. 2 of our 3 entrees were undercooked and had to be sent back. 1 was replaced and the other was forgotten. Management apologized and comped the entrees that were sent back. We left disappointed in the experience. I would not recommend this restaurant and it is unlikely that I will dine there again.
It started poorly and got worse. When 8 minutes late host called to chastise. Arrived 15 minutes late to a room that was 50% full max throughout meal. Excellent sparkling and drinks and nice simple salad and cauliflower. Pasta mains had quality taste but were both delivered an the cool to cold side. They had not moved swiftly after prep....On leaving when asked about meal, related the temperature issue and this was unpleasantly received. Service and kitchen delivery need work. Overall feel --staff rules; and patrons, probably tourists, are tolerated.
Excellent service, tasty meal, but VERY noisy. Try not to sit next to a large group.
Enjoyed the meal. All was good. Loved itxxxxxxxxxxxxxxcxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxccxxcccxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Dial it up greeting, service, although we had a reservation. The food was meh, nothing exceptional at all. We wished we had just sat at the wood fired pizza counter for the price.
Wonderful staff in a unique facility.
Very pleasant experience, with delicious food, excellent & attentive service, and great views south and west.
