The service was excellent and good was great. We will be back.
We just ordered two pizzas and a side vegetable. Let me preface this by saying we make our own pizzas at home with a stone in the oven. We asked for thin and crisp. They promised thin and crisp. The pizzas came thinnish and soggy. And there wasn't much topping on either to speak of. Went there as we were just being lazy and wanted, after a day out, not to have to roll dough and cook. Vegetables did come with little salt as requested but were just luke warm. We wanted a break from cooking but once again were reminded that for eating: There's No Place LIke Home.
Came to Cotta for brunch to celebrate a friend's 100 mile race - and we could not have been treated better!!! Steve and Saxon took the best care of us, and the food was beyond delicious. Amazing brunch specials and drinks too!! Such a pleasant, lovely atmosphere and great service. I recommend Cotta to all!
This upper west side restaurant is the perfect meeting place for friends. Great bar and ambiance - the pasta melts in your mouth.
This is a lovely restaurant. The waitress and all staff were very welcoming and professional. Food was very good. We ate here before going to Shakespeare-in-the -Park. Perfect for that occasion.
Although we had a reservation, we ended up leaving to go to another restaurant because there weren't any tables available in the air conditioned section. It was disappointing to find out that more than half of their seating is NOT air conditioned or windows for air circulation, making it very uncomfortable during hot NYC summers. I wish they had at least informed us of this ahead of time.
This was a lovely find, close to Shakespeare in the Park. Enjoyed a delicious dinner on the sidewalk, that was very reasonably priced. The service was excellent, and they were very cooperative. I would recommend it for an event in the area, such as Shakespeare in the Park>
Service was very slow. The place was extremely hot. We asked our waitress on numerous occasions to make it cooler but it didn't happen.
The food could be better.
We arrived 2 minutes before the kitchen was closing but they still took our orders. They were very accommodating and friendly! The food was absolutely delicious! We will definitely return!
Ricotta fired dip was hot. My date was hotter.
Hostess was flexible about where we wanted to be seated, which I always appreciate. Good food. Cute place. The atmosphere is inviting with warm finishes and thoughtful decor. Server disappeared after taking our order but did finally reappear at the end for our dessert order. The table next to mine had to track down someone for the bill so we asked for our check upon ordering dessert (banana bread pudding) which was worth it but the coffee was not good at all. A half carafe of wine, bottle of sparkling water, one appetizer, two entrees, one dessert, and two coffees came in under $100 for two. But again, don't order the coffee.
Lovely food, smiling service and good decoration. Wine selection is also good.
The 2 hour brunch special was great. I would definietly go back again.
Great ambiance (a tad loud), really nice service, good food at very reasonable prices for UWS. The $12 Lavender Spritz cokctail was so delicious and can't be found elsewhere. There is a fun backroom where you could have a larger group or maybe even a private party. Also terrific unlimited booze brunch donwstairs in bar area with super-friendly service (there were 6 of us so they ended up giving us carafes of mimosa and bloody mary instead of just individual drinks)
The manager is terrific, quite pleasant and very friendly.
I love Osteria Cotta. It's the perfect neighborhood gem to grab an amazing pizza, great salad with a glass of wine. Outside seating in the warm months isa delight and inside seating is cozy in the winter. A place I always return to.!
Bruschetta was tasty. They ran out of one of the kinds I wanted to try but would definitely go back
Cotta is a great neighborhood spot for hearty Italian fare at quite reasonable prices. They have a nice happy hour with good drink and food selections. The service is always warm and attentive. I love all the pizzas but my favorite is the brussels sprouts pizza. You can make a meal out of the side dishes-try the truffle fries, cauliflower and meatballs. We celebrated a graduation there recently. Our guests had a variety of dishes-some pasta, some pizza, some fish and chicken, and everyone was quite pleased with their selection.
Service was mediocre and our waitress was a little clueless. Nevertheless, the manager and waitress compensated us and gave us dessert. Overall I enjoy Cotta and will always return.
So delicious and good service ❤️
One of our favorite neighborhood restaurants. The food is excellent, reasonable prices, cozy ambience.
Good food, well prepared and fresh ingredients coupled with efficient and friendly service. Great place to go for a quick meal or for a longer socializing dinner
Our app Itzel's were fabulous, we had the stuffed mussels and escargot! Delish! My Mom had Duck which she said was delish! I had the short rib with all vegetables, very little fat and I loved it! The desert however I didn't like so much. The service was outstanding! We will go back!
It was awful and the servers are rude
Moderate overall at best
Fantastic place for happy hour. Pizzas are creative and delicious. Drink menu is fun. Very crowded but always a lot of energy - one of my favorite places. Upstairs seating is very comfortable - very different decor. Highly recommend.
We found the place to be charming, and I would go again.
I highly recommend the tartufo pizza. The rustic ambience is fun. The brunch menu was reasonably priced and the beer was great even though I hadn't heard of many of their Italian (?) brands.
2nd date, went great!
Best chicken wings in the world! Everything else is also great.
Got seated right away and the happy hour menu is delicious and a great price! The interior is pleasant and inviting :)
Server attendance could've been better, but she was attentive enough and was really helpful
Service and food were excellent, the bottomless mimosas were heavy on the champagne - definitely got our money's worth out of the food and drink!
I love this place. It never let's me down. I bring friends, dates, and myself sometimes because of the quality of the food, and the moderate price. Simple ingredients, not fussy dishes and great atmosphere adds to the feeling, and tastes of this wonderful place. Great place to close a deal too. :)
Yearly college besties reunion! We had the best time! Food was amazing! Service was great! So much fun!
Best priced brunch on the UWS
Always good food and reasonable price.
