Osteria Costa - MGM National Harbor
I have dined at Osteria Costa a number of times and I have enjoyed the food and the excellent service.
The food was incredible here. I love authentic italian cuisine so it definitely made the cut. Great service too. Our server was super polite and attentive.
I have dined at Osteria Costa several times and the food is very good and the service is also very good.
Service at this location, I would say has decreased since 2019.
Our salads were excellent. The flatbread app was dry and difficult to eat. Chicken parm entree lacked flavor. The seafood risotto special only had shrimp and calamari a little more variety would have been nice. Dessert was just ok. Service was great. Our experiences at the other MGM restaurants have set the bar very high for food quality and our experience here was just mediocre. This was our Valentines dinner and it was a little disappointing.
Great experience, I will be back for more. I recommend the short rib, tender enough to cut with a spoon.
The food was SUPERB! The portion size was way more than enough to leave you feeling satisfied. The crispy shrimp were so tasty! My husband loved the Parmesan Chicken and I was stuffed with about half of the shrimp and spaghetti (spicy), but it was so yummy! The chocolate lava cake was UNBELIEVABLE!! Loved every bite!
The food here is really amazing. We had an appetizer and entrees and everything was cooked to perfection. Our server, Mercedes, seemed a little frazzled and was not very attentive or informative. She was not really busy but was extremely delayed in simple server tasks. Maybe she was trying to catch up on side work or smoking, but she was off of the floor for prolonged periods of time. The manager the stopped by our table and the server assistants were great and made sure that we had a good time and that our table stayed clear of trash and empty dishes/glasses. We would definitely go back, did I mention the food is amazing, but would hope for a different server.
The worst dining experience I have ever had. I wouldn’t know how the food is because we never got served. Arrived for a 6:00 pm reservation in order to have time to eat for a 7:30 pm show. Waited and waited and waited and still nothing. By 7:10 pm, we finally received bread after asking for it but no food. At 7:20, we finally gave up and left without eating to make our 7:30 show. Worst managed restaurant I’ve ever experienced and we were not alone. From the looks of other patrons around our table they were also experiencing horrible delays. Never going back.
The only good part of the service was the busser, Rosario...she attended to our every need with a smile and willingness to please us.
Had a reservation and was told we needed to wait in the long line before we could be seated...what is the purpose of making a reservation?
Dinner was delayed and cold when delivered.
Horrible!! The only good thing was our waitress.
Had to wait even though I had a reservations and there were tables, then proceeded to wait 20 minutes to even get water glass filled. Very poor service.
Great experience. Tasty food. Exceptional service. Thanks again, Charlie and Vernon!
Meme, our server and Mark, the manager gave great service. The space didn’t provide much intimacy but it was an awesome experience overall! Thanks Osteria Costa.
We loved the caprese crostini as an appetizer. My salmon was fresh and cooked to order. We also had the bucatini carbonara cooked just right. Great bread.
Food overpriced for what it is...paying for MGM location. Shrimp was tasty but served with plain spaghetti...$24. Pizza was $18
Everything was wonderful except the front line - hostesses - was not a good start. Everything else was wonderful!
Food was overrated. Wasn’t hot when it came to the table.
I took a group to Osteria Costa before a performance at MGM. We had 6:45 reservations. The restaurant wasn't able to seat us until 7:20, and while I'm sure the server tried to expedite the order, it came to the table at 7:55. We ended up fairly late to our show. At a restaurant where it is likely people are dining before a show, it's unacceptable to seat you significantly later than your reservation time.
Food (fetrucine with Alfredo sauce} was good. Chardonnay was very good. Servers were very attentive, professional, and conversational. It was apparent to us, and those around us, that the management and coordination between the front and back of the restaurant was annoyingly substandard. The pleasant young ladies at the hostess stand did not know what they were doing. Tables were clearly open and available (and cleaned and set) but we (and several others) were told they had to wait for tables to be cleaned. They said they were taking reservations only, but we were able to get a table by using OpenTable as we were standing there and getting a table in 15 minutes (the same table we pointed out to them when we walked up). Thank you, OpenTable! In the end, we had a very nice dinner, served promptly, leaving us plenty of time to go to the nearby MGM Theatre.
Great menu. Prices look a little hefty but the food and presentation are amazing and there is plenty of it. My server was prompt and friendly. There was a little noise from the hotel valet entrance but it was tolerable. My friend and I were able to have a nice conversation. We were also able to have a view of the championship football game. The Televisions were present but not obnoxious. Very classy atmosphere and great view of the decor in the MGM lobby
Food was amazing, service slow , took forever for food and we never got or were offered refills. Sad because our meal was quite expensive & served showed equaled the price we paid
Meatball appetizer with lasagna dinner is a great value and shareable
Overall, the experience, food and service was great for this visit.
Birthday celebration. Meatballs appetizer and pizza a must try. Liked it so much we went back the next again.
It was great. The staff made me feel so welcome. I proposed to my girlfriend and they made it all worth while. It was also my birthday, they bought me out some ice cream and cake. Also they did everything I asked of them. Everyone was so awesome and professional. I am so glad I picked this place for my birthday and our special occasion. I am definitely going to be coming back. The food was awesome. The atmosphere was perfect. I have never been to a place where I felt so comfortable and like home. Again thank you to the staff and the chefs. You guys are my number 1. Keep up the good work that you do.
Very slow service. Almost 2 hours for pizza and pasta and a diet coat. Understandable if the restaurant was packed but there were barely 20 people
All went well
All was ok
Good place to go to for dinner before the show. Thanks
Reservation was made for 9:45pm. Notification received around 8pm that the restaurant was closing at 9pm. The system shouldn't take reservations if the restaurant is not going to be opened. Had to order, leave the concert in order to get food.
Service was EXCELLENT, the brunch bruschetta was FABULOUS and the Lemon cocktail was DELICIOUS.
We went before a show and told our waitress that we had show tickets. We ordered immediately, and our food came quickly. Excellent service and great food! Thanks so much!
Dinner before the show.....Great drinks and appetizers. Didn't want anythin too heavy. Mercedes was great!
All was great!
All went wonderful & accordingly.
The service at Osteria Costa was excellent and the staff was very courteous!!
We enjoyed the food as well!!
Excellent Service! Excellent food! Can’t wait to come back again!
They don’t have a kids menu. Just for penne pasta for a kid - we were charged $20. The drink for kids was $5 additional.
All went well & enjoyed.
