Osteria Amore came to life because we believe in the power of food to change your day, or in our case, change your life.

Owner Eduardo Daja has been working in restaurants since he was a teenager growing up in Italy, and his time in culinary school only strengthened his passion for food. After culinary school, Ed stayed in Bologna to work at a family-owned restaurant. He moved to Utah eight years ago, and found himself missing his first love, food. For the past three years, Ed has been managing an Italian restaurant while also maintaining a career in tech and finally made the life-changing decision to open his own restaurant.

That big decision was made possible for Ed when he met Marco Cuttaia, Osteria Amore’s executive chef and partner. Ed’s training in Bologna, considered the food capital of Italy, and Marco’s upbringing in Palermo, known for its incredible street food, bridge northern and southern Italian culinary tradition in a way that’s never been done in Salt Lake City.

Service was fantastic. Tanner our waiter knew the menu well and was able to give us excellent recommendations. The food was yummy and very fresh. Could have made a meal out of the bread and fresh Ricotta Cheese. Meatballs and sauce tasted like my grandmother was in the kitchen. The zucchini flowers were amazing and the fresh pasta was cooked to perfection. Wish this restaurant was near me in NY. Would be there every weekend.

Best italian restaurant in Utah! Great environment and great service. Osteria Amore pasta is my favorite. Strawberry sorbet is also delicious

We have a favorite Italian restaurant in Salt Lake and hoped to include Osteria Amore as our new favorite since it is closer to home. Overall this is a wonderful place. Great atmosphere, good food, reasonable prices for an upscale restaurant. It just wasn't good enough to replace our old favorite. I would certainly recommend this to anyone who wants authentic Italian in the area.

Delicious food very fresh, Vincenco was a great waiter as well. We will go back. Oh and the creme brulee was the best we have tasted.

It was very cold inside. We asked the server if they could turn up the air but the temp really didn't change. Others were cold too. The appetizers were great. Pasta dish was good. The ribeye steak I had was only fair. The host who sat us was a little grumpy. Overall was a good experience but some improvements could be made.

Food and service were amazing! Pasta was fresh and there was a wide variety of options. Don't miss the zucchini blossom appetizer.
