OSTERIA 106, AN AUTHENTIC ITALIAN DINING SPACE IN MANHATTAN'S UPPER WEST SIDE.
OUR HOPE IS TO BRING A RELAXED, COMFORTABLE & TRULY MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE TO OUR GUESTS, PRESENTING A FRESH APPROACH TO THE
FAMILIAR LANDSCAPE OF ITALIAN CUISINE.
This was the perfect place to celebrate our wedding anniversary. They celebrated us and made us feel very special. We felt like we were back on our honeymoon in Italy. This establishment is authentic, with a 5/5 all around. In fact we are planning to return again in the next week because there were so many entrees we wanted to try.
Excellent food and friendly, professional service in a charming, tasteful environment.
Wonderful place. Nicest people!
I have been here a number of times and I always leave satisfied and happy! The staff is very friendly and the service is great! The food is amazing! I particularly enjoy their pastas! They also have great specials and yummy desserts! I highly recommend Osteria 106!
Valentine’s Day dinner. Had a reservation and were sat immediately. Not too loud, not too packed. Such a great vibe. GREAT music, delicious food and wine.
We will be coming again
This has become our ultimate go-to neighborhood favorite. reliably delicious and consistently professional, on every level.
We live in western Massachusetts, but have been eating in restaurants in the Upper West Side for decades, and Osteria 106 is one we will return to with enthusiasm. The food and the service were excellent, and though the small restaurant was full it was easy to converse with the couple at the table next to ours and to hear the background music. We enjoyed each dish: vitello tonnato, fettuccini Bolognese, and the branzino. We had a delicious couple of glasses of a Sangiovese blend and the lattes with our panna cotta and pear, almond tart were all excellent.
This is a cozy, unpretentious UWS restaurant serving excellent, fresh, traditional and innovative Italian cuisine. The pasta dishes are particularly good. We were a party of 6 and sat at the back (the other tables seat mostly 2-4) where it was quiet enough to hear each other talk; the rest of the restaurant can be noisier due to the restaurant's size and closeness of the tables. They do not play music nor muzak which is refreshing. The service is first rate. We have been coming here for the past two years and they never disappoint.
Food and service was excellent. Enjoyed hearing wait staff speak in Italian dialect and the food was delicious.
I just moved to the neighborhood. I am so glad this place exists! Delicious pasta...I tried everyone's at the table :)
Came here for a brunch with a friend and my 3yo daughter. As always had an incredible service and delicious food. The atmosphere is very warm and it feels like home. The food is super fresh and tastes amazing. We had pasta carbonara, a panini and cannoli for desert. Very satisfied! Osteria has been our go to place on upper west side for over a year since they opened. Highly recommend this place.
My experience may have been an aberration as it was a busy Saturday evening but I found both my mussels appetizer and the salmon main course to be under par. Having had a world class mussels dish at Mignonette in Miami the week before perhaps colored my view but the mussels were small, some mealy, and the broth without any punch. The salmon dish had promise but was very overcooked. Nonetheless it is one of the better spots in my neighborhood and we will be back.
Great Italian restaurant , with a very attentive service , just perfect, food was amazing and authentic Italian , perfect experience
Was fantastic 10/10
Always an excellent meal here. I love this place.
We love this restaurant for its friendly neighborhood ambience, personal service and delicious food! Don't miss the ravioli with sage and butter sauce or the cacio e pepe pasta (if it's on the menu). But everything we've ever tried here has been fantastic!
I found Osteria 106 on Open Table, and what a find it was. The restaurant is small but extremely charming and cozy. I had the pear and arugula salad, the pistachio-crusted cod with mashed potatoes, and the chocolate souffle for dessert. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. The service was very good and the prices most reasonable. A great neighborhood restaurant.
amazing food in an at-home like atmosphere. very good and very comfortable.
It's a nice neighborhood Italian spot. The pasta was quite good and tasted fresh, as was the duck. Service was decent, but could have been improved. There are too many really good Italian places close by - I would probably go back, but it's not first on my list.
Delicious food. I would definitely go again.
Cena de Nochevieja, comida deliciosa y abundante, el pulpo espectacular, acompañada de buen vino, muchas recomendaciones fuera de carta y la Maitre amable y atenta. De 10
Delicious food, great service, lovely evening. Missed Melissa but Micol was also delightful. Profiteroles topped off the dinner. Yum!!
The secret is out! This jewel box of a restaurant with attentive service, well-crafted food, and loads of charm is no longer under the radar. But, do not be deterred, it is worth the wait (or make a reservation)!
Grest food and atmosphere. Definitely will be back again.
Solid food, great service, cute space!
Great food and pleasant service!
Loved this charming restaurant for both ambience and delicious cuisine with friendly service. Highly recommended and we'll worth the cab ride from midtown. Will return on our next NYC visit for sure.
Great little neighborhood place, consistently good. Nice people, good service.
Was very pleasantly surprised. it is a real neighborhood gem.
Everything is warm and cozy in this restaurant - the food, the service, and the ambiance. We LOVE this place.
Great place. Great food
The service was amazing. My friend was 30 min late to our reservation. The staff seated me and let me wait for her - a lot of places would not have seated me!
Always a winner! Lovely, unobtrusive service and fantastic food from a small kitchen. A true hole-in-the-wall, I love to bring out of town guests here because it is truly a New York neighborhood restaurant. A small wait for a table is not a problem because it means your doing something right!
Everything was fantastic. The food was delicious and service was great!
My nephew liked his pasta dish, but, unfortunately, I thought that my beet salad was plain and overpriced. The veal dish did not taste fresh, was very overcooked and tough. Of course, much of that dish was not eaten.
Osteria 106 is our neighborhood go to place and it's usually great. Lately, maybe because it has become so popular, the food and atmosphere has deteriorated somewhat. Last visit my pasta was barely warm and tasted like it had sat around for awhile. And while I understand it's a small place and turning tables is necessary, we felt rushed.
I should say it is Bad . LOL
But is GREAT.
Fresh Pasta,great main dishes.
Wife loves the tiramisu says it is the best she has ever had .
Small great restaurant must make a resavation .
no joke you will love it
Very good restaurant and welcome addition to the neighborhood.
Love love love this place in my neighborhood. Hate writing great reviews as it will fill up and I won't be able to get in again! ;-)
Service was very good and hospitable. Friendly throughout. Food very good and fresh tasting. We will be back for sure!!
