   Found via open table - lovely restaurant with a very nice host - all food was freshly cooked and very good quality - it was not your typical pizza and pasta Italian and made a lovely change to try somthing different. The wine was the best we had on our visit to Barcelona

   I booked this as had friends visiting to take part in the Barcelona half Marathon, we wanted Italian the night before so gave this one a shot - i'm so glad we did, the service was fantastic and every dish was outstanding, my new favourite Italian in Barcelona! :)

   Exceptional True Italian Restaurant! Ostaia (Osteria Genovese) food is perfecto! Wonderful attentive service. The Genoese recipes need special mention because they were outstanding. We had Ravioli de Borrrages & Mortadella Au-Tuccu with Beef & Porcini’s Ragù, Cheestnut’s Trofiette with Pesto Genovese DOP with Green Beans and Potatoes and various focaccia to start. The meal was so good we enjoyed two bottles of Durin Granaccia from the special Italian region and had a great family meal.
