   Best sushi place in Atlantic City! Great service and staff. The vibe is immaculate. Every Friday/Saturday night they have a DJ setting a nice club/after hours vibe. The ringo is such a delicious drink. Great choice of sake as well. I go to Ossu every chance I get.

   Beautiful ambiance. The food is absolutely delicious. The staff is wonderful and very welcoming. The diners are quite but the music is a bit loud but somehow is not annoying and doesn't take away from a peaceful meal.

   Great space & nice idea, but it misses the mark. For 2 of us, we were sat at a community table, which I didn't appreciate. It was a non-issue as we were early and no one else was seated next to us, but they could have been. My husband ordered the whole fish (snapper) and while the presentation was beautiful, the taste wasn't. The first fish was parched dry and inedible. My husband has never sent food back, but he couldn't eat it and it was expensive. The kitchen agreed it was no good and cooked another one. Unfortunately, the next fish wasn't dry but had no taste. Disappointing. We are fairly sure it must have been frozen and didn't cook well. For non-sushi eaters, I would appreciate a few more options. Only choice was the yakitori skewers. At least have 1 noodle dish option. The appetizers on the other hand were amazing. The edamame dumplings in sake broth were absolutely delicious as were the fried chicken wings. Great place for appetizers & sake.

   It was our fault because we had a reservation for 10:30 pm and the kitchen closes at 11 pm so we didn't get to enjoy it as much as we wanted. Will definitely go back at a much earlier time to have more time to enjoy the whole experience.

    We loved everything about our meal at Ossu. Sushi was delicious. Service was terrific. And not quite as pricey as we’d anticipated. Definitely a place we’d go back to.

    Ossu was once again, fantastic! Our server Stanley was outstanding, and table touches with recommendations from Chef Michael were a cut well above superior. Food was delicious as always, cannot wait to go back!

    Everyone was raving about this place in the reviews so that’s why I decided to check it out and I was pretty excited since I love sushi. Personally, I was not crazy about the sushi and I had ordered 3 different rolls. The only one out of the 3 that I ordered that was good was the roll with the steak in it which was pretty cool since not many places have that option. The ambiance was incredible. I will say if I go back again it will be for the appetizers since the bao bun and the dumplings were 10/10! But the sushi could definitely use some more flavor. I would probably go back for their late night happy hour.

    Went back to OSSU in the TROP because we had such a great time and dinner last week and it did not disappoint . We mainly went back for Chef Buckley who made us some amazing dishes and came out to hang w us a bit - he is WONDERFUL. The DJ was there again and the music during dinner such a treat - Hai cooked us some great skewers while waving to us and we had Roberto again as our server who was spot on everything . Chef Buckley is so friendly / so sociable so make sure you find him when you go ! He saw us and came out and remembered us and said he had some awesome dishes he wanted to make us and try and it was ALL fresh and delicious ! Love OSSU

    I was so upset when our favorite AC restaurant in this location closed. It reopened as Ossu & had to try it. I was SO Happy to see they kept the same cool atmosphere & decor , although not speakeasy style anymore. The food was fabulous!! Can’t wait to come back. Rolls were delicious & perfect size. The edamame dumplings are a highlight - I can’t wait to come back for them again! The filet mignon yakitori melted in our mouth. The meat on the chicken wings fell right off the bone. We will be returning soon. Our waiter Roberto was excellent !

    What an amazing time and incredible dinner / experience it was at OSSU . From start to end incredible service and professionalism . Highly recommend this place as we took a break from Il Verdi and glad we did. WE had Roberto as our server who was spot on top of everything and helped by Marc . Leslie was amazing behind the bar and such a great personality - We got smiles and waves from HAI as he cooked our apps - so cool . The live musis / DJ was an added plus as the music was slamming - onto the best part of the awesome dinner - the Chef !!! We ordered things w specificity and Chef Buckley came out to confirm and verify how we wanted our food done to be sure it was right ( Who does this?) Chef Buckley was as nice and as professional as they come - what a nice guy (funny+talkative) . He even came out to ask if everything was done right . Just an overall great dinner and atmosphere . We did not want to leave - lol OSSU = A+++ We will be back next trip to see this amazing Chef and Staff AGAIN :0)

    We tried many of the small plates and yakitori. Everything we had was excellent. The only miscue was a slightly overcoooked and under seasoned filet yakitori. Still tasty but didn't match everything else we ate. We highly recommend the edamame dumplings. These are probably the best thing we have eaten over the past fee years. Must try! And ask for Marc. His service was top notch. Engaging yet unobtrusive and took care of every need before we knew we needed it.

    I would consider myself a foodie, always checking out new spots. This place did not disappoint. We had to book late evening on a Saturday which meant there would be a DJ. Thankfully the music was not very loud and casual conversation was very easy. The food though… 10 out of 10. We had 5 small plates and the filet skewers. I was expecting good food but it far exceeded my expectations. The edamame dumplings were amazing, along with the 5 spice ribs. Service was also fantastic.
