Celebrating last night in Brooklyn...came in for A10 Championship.
Enjoyed dinner 2 months ago. Food and service were excellent. Very different experience at brunch last Saturday. Service was terrible. Servers kept changing, all seemed disorganized. Toast was brought to the table after we paid the check! Food was ok, not great.
Grea! Everything was great
Very nice location on the water with impressive skyline views. Our server was excellent and the food was delicious!
Our service was phenomenal! View of the skyline was beautiful. Food was outstanding - the almond crusted French toast is next level. Highly recommend.
A beautiful space, great service and good food.
Good experience. We went to celebrate birthday’s day of my wife, and everything was great. I recomend this place.
Good restaurant with nice ambiance but lighting was a little low. Got a bit loud but it was still nice and I was able to have a conversation at dinner. Service was impeccable and food was good for the most part. Hummus wasn't flavorful and didn't love the sauce on the skirt steak but the cheese plate was yum and the olives quite tasty.
Everything about the food was great and it’s a nice location. The co-ed bathrooms are creepy and was made even more so because there was no toilet paper for sometime and half the stalls appeared to be permanently locked. The restaurant asked if it was a special occasion- it was my birthday - but did nothing special.
Had a friend in town and this was a great place to enjoy Brooklyn and take In the city views! Britney rocked! Best service I’ve had I a while.
Special occasion brunch with friends. I cannot say enough good things about the food and service. Attention to detail was second to none. Recommend without hesitation.
Very accommodating and wonderful! Although it felt like we were being rushed out in the end, I still very much enjoyed it.
Service was great, beautiful setting but the food was average.
Steak was chewy and too salty, Brussels sprouts were soggy and watery and the chicken was dry.
Come here for drinks or dessert, but skip it for dinner
I went for Breakfast with my cousin, everything was great!! I like the view and the rooftop.
Long wait for anything
And food wasn’t good at all
Amazing ambience and service. The food and the drinks were mediocre.
Well executed menu with creative interpretations of new American classics.
Food was fantastic. Service was also exceptional. The ambience in the location was great because of all the natural light. I will return here multiple times with my family and friends.
Great food, beautiful room and view. Very friendly staff!
Great spot. Food just okay. Staff very friendly. Place super trendy. Service good.
I loved everything....th view amazing...
Gonna came back soon with friends ...
It was a wonderful experience. The staff and the chef were AMAZING.... it made the perfect night to my date
We were drawn in by their Restaurant Week offer, but ended up ordering off the regular menu instead. The service was attentive, and they let us pick and choose from both the special and the regular menu, which was nice. The space is really cool, and we were by large window with a view of Brooklyn Bridge Park -- ground level but still nice. The appetizers were good, and the branzino I ordered was nicely cooked, but it was presented over a pretty tasteless and very oily bed of fried potatoes and shrimp. It should be said that the entree prices are quite reasonable, but I would still expect more quality there. There was also an issue with the wine menu where the wrong vintage of Cotes du Rhone was offered, without notice, the one on the menu being unavailable. That could have been dealt with better. All in all, I would go back for a glass of wine and an appetizer, but probably not for a meal.
We had an anniversary dinner and they had a card on the table waiting and gave us champagne.
Great space, great design, beautiful vistas. The service was friendly and excellent. The food was generally quite good though with s couple of disappointments for our party of 7. Overall superb casual place for worthwhile American fare. Hey
The Osprey is beautiful and serene, full of natural light and gorgeous views. The staff is so lovely, especially the waiter (can't remember his name, so bad with names, but he's from Haiti). The food is good, but the ambiance is what makes it so special.
We went to Osprey to try out NYC Restaurant Week, we live nearby in Dumbo and frequently visit the hotels rooftop bar in the summer. Being a local in Dumbo I am used to tourism with tons of tourist walking in Dumbo but I was surprised to see so many tourist there, I guess was expecting this restaurant to be a little more local friendly. The food was okay, overpriced and geared towards hotel stayers or tourists. The service was good, they were quite busy since it was a Friday night. We purchased a few things of the "regular" menu and shared a restaurant week tasting. We will most likely never go back to the restaurant because the food was pretty mediocre for the price we paid. I was hoping that this would be a good option for people living in Dumbo, but we were very disappointed.
Celebrated my birthday with friends and it was lovely! Great waitstaff and bartender. Loved the atmosphere and delicious good!
I will make my way to The Osprey every time I am in New York. Love this place!
Great service and atmosphere. Limited menu by food delish
Dined for brunch and everything was delicious. The breakfast potatoes are a must have. Service was excellent as well. And yes, I even got dessert (apple crisp).
Great food, ambiance and atmosphere. Great way to see the city on the water, have a great brunch and relax.
Great Brunch menu with a lovely view and sweet staff.
Great food! So many things I wanted to try, so I will definitely be back again.
I had the seared scallops with cauliflower risotto, and it was amazing. Delicious.
Our waiter was great, very attentive but not overkill, and great at describing the menu.
Perfectly situated in the heart of Dumbo, The Osprey is the best option in the neighborhood.
Great atmosphere!! Only had restaurant week lunch pretty low key
Was disappointed not to have been made aware that they were out of Ousters, then out of butter scotch desert.
Specifically mentioned my food allergy but was served scallops with tons of garlic. I would like to think that it was just a day off.
The drinks were excellent, highly recommended. The server was knowledgable and helpful. The food had good flavour however the seasoning was a little lacking and my steak was over cooked. However I would still go back.
A welcoming restaurant with surprisingly good food. We much enjoyed the evening. But two small
complaints: the glasses of wine are far too small, and the air in the restaurant is overwhelmed (at
busy times) by the cooking in the open kitchen. Still, quite a good place.
