Got the crispy provolone - rigatoni alla vodka - spaghetti - braciole…. Excellent! Nice outdoor seating setup.
Small entree portions. Waitress hardly came by to our table. Took her a while to get our orders, gave us the wrong suggestion when asking for something not spicy, and gave us the dessert menu and never came back to take our order. Only 2 heating lamps in the entire place no where near any tables so bring a jacket for dinner. I was really hoping to love this restaurant since it was on the Eater list. The overall experience was underwhelming.
My absolute favorite pasta in LA!!
Food was so good it made up for the Uncomfortable chairs dingy side street and NO HEATERS very chilly ....... they clearly can get away with it because the food was outstanding ....... you start to eat and forget the other discomforts immediately..... I would’ve left anywhere else so Bravo! I was visiting from New York snd am really glad I made it there excellent!
Everything here is amazing. We’ve been back 5 times since they opened and haven’t found a single thing that we dislike. I tell everyone to go here
I had an amazing birthday dinner at Ospi. EVERYTHING WAS FANTASTIC!!! The eggplant salad, the fettuna, the pizza and the pasta, I CANT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THE GNOCCHI, and the lemon budino.👌🏼😍😍😍 Can’t wait to come back!
Loved the food, great service just needs a few more space heaters
New favorite restaurant in LA!!
Best Italian in town
Ospi was great! Love love love their pasta here. Their super thin crust pizza is really unique as well. I'll definitely be back.
Food was good, but a few dishes could use some tweaks. Service was excellent.
The food was absolutely incredible. Cannot wait to come back!
Great food. Server was great. It was cold outside with no heaters.
Amazing food, everything was delicious and staff was so friendly!
The food and service were above my expectations and my group thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Everything was delicious and we will definitely return. The patio could be decorated a but more but the food and service make up for it
The food was great. It was a little chilly outside but they did their very best to accommodate us near a heater. The service was very attentive. The food came quickly and everything was delicious. The cauliflower appetizer was amazing and the fungi pizza was delicious with a variety of unusual mushrooms. I would definitely go back.
OSPI IS AMAZING! The food is so flavorful without being overwhelming. We got 4 pasta dishes, the kale salad, and some bread. Oh. My. Gosh. I know want that kale salad. The pasta was filling without making you feel like dough. 15/10!!!
Best vodka sauce I’ve ever had!
Telling all my friends to go
Raschiatelli was AMAZING
We had heard a lot of good buzz about this place, which opened in September DURING covid. The food is hearty and satisfying but still quite innovative. We started with the fried provolone, the soft lettuce salad, and the bread with burrata innards ("stracciatella"). We had the cannelloni and the rashiatelli pastas for dinner, and finished off with the canolli. The food was generally excellent, with the provalone, raschiatelli, and canolli being exceptional. The fried provalone is a sort of adult mozarrella stick, featuring saltier and sturdier cheese and a beautifully simple vodka sauce for dipping (order extra!). The raschiatelli is a study in "bite variety"; every bite features a conga line of pasta, rich oily ragu, crunchy panko, and creamy cheese. Its incredible! The canolli for dessert featured a more delicate pastry crust, not a crunchy spill-y mess, and a refreshing ricotta filling. Buono!
For drinks they feature a negroni menu. This is my favorite cocktail so I had three of those. The Boulevardier in particular was excellent, sweeter and darker than the traditional Campari variety.
The ambience was as good as it could be given the circumstances. They have built a nice outdoor area on the street that still manages to pull off a homey, I'm-not-on-a sidewalk-in-Venice-vibe. The service was excellent. Our server was quick with recommendations, attentive without being overbearing. The coursing was a scootch rapid for my taste but seemed to be perfectly tailored for the 90 minute LA county dining limit, implying these guys know how to facilitate. Noise level was low. All the tables were filled when we were there.
These folks have clearly worked hard to stand up an excellent fine dining experience under extremely difficult circumstances. I recommend you reward their work (and the raschiatelli) with your support.
Incredible steps of service despite Covid. Food was delicious, our waiter Matt was perfect, can’t wait to come back as the weather warms up!
Even though it was cold and windy outside the service was excellent! The food is delicious. I recommend the crispy provolone, cauliflower, spicy rigatoni, and the hapa pizza. When I go back I have to try the pork collar braciole as I hear its really good. They were out of it when I went.
It was soo great!! We loved the food at Ospi!!!
Best spot in Venice! Food, service is amazing! Definitely going again!
Excellent service and level of engagement
I love this place. Unfortunately, the service wasn't as good as the first we went (back in November), but I'm sure it was because it was the start of Valentine's weekend.
I highly recommend this place! Their food is incredible!
I'll be going back soon with friends.
Delicious and great service. Can’t wait to go back when we can sit inside. Finally found our local Italian. 🙌🏼
Yummers!! Our waiter was the sweetest and made sure we were getting the favorites on the menu without over ordering :) the provolone was my so delightful but the spicy rigatoni is an absolute MUST TRY. Margarita was delicious. Only downfall: only three outdoor heaters, all very spread out on a cold night.
Outstanding food served in an alleyway -not their fault. Limited wine list for food of this sophistication.
The food was absolutely phenomenal! The cauliflower, stracciatella fett’unta, and the raschiatelli were so incredibly delicious! I’d definitely recommend coming here and will for sure be coming back!
Ospi is amazing!!! The food was delicious and the service was impeccable.
The food, the ambiance and the workers we’re beyond amazing!
We had Melissa as our server. She was AMAZING. Very helpful and great personality. Food was great!!!
it was great! ospi is starting to become my new favorite italian place!
Fantastic every tine!!
Amazing casual food with a great atmosphere - loved it!
The food was fantastic, but during the pandemic we had to sit at a table on the sidewalk and it was extremely loud, cold and we listened to a homeless man across the street singing loudly.
Absolutely amazing food and service!! I can’t wait to go back and try more dishes!
The food was great and our waiter was very helpful. I got the spaghetti and my friend got the Margie
Everything was delicious and wonderful. Our new favorite place!
