We visited Oscars for Jazz Ville which is a special promotion with a small cover charhe. FABULOUS musicians and vocalists. Especially enjoyed Jessica Taylor and Eve Holmes. Food and drink service was excellent for a show room setting. We had bar snacks but the choices were varied, and, well prepared. Parking is a little sketchy but the walk is worth it if you are a jazz fan!
Music (and loud drums) were so overpowering it ruined my dinner.
Waiter was very good. Food O.K.--nothing special.
It's our go to place whenever we are in Palm Springs. Absolutely love everything about the place. Good food and portions for your money.
We all enjoyed Oscar's and will definitely be back for the show!
We went back to see The Gand Band again. They are wonderful. Our server was excellent. The manger was attentive and the hostess is great. It’s a feel good time at Oscar’s. My steak was
My family and I got together for dinner here before attending Bey-chella. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio and the food was enjoyable. I think the views/weather are really what made it worthwhile.
Fun place with a nice patio and nice music for brunch that can accommodate larger groups. The food is pretty average but still an overall good experience.
Good food, drinks and a fantastic show. Great place for any or no special occasion. Exceptional talent comedy, music and great showmanship. Have not seen a better show all year.
Oscar’s serves a valuable purpose in Palm Springs. They accommodate regulars and tourists alike, and they are managed with heart and soul. We love to go there, and we always have a good time, when we do!
We had a blast!! Came to see The Gand Band. You must see them!! Great music. We danced.
Cocktails excellent. My only gripe was the $15 Caesar Salad.
A paltry amount of chopped up romaine. It was pathetic and truly
It was a fun and relaxed evening. Highly recommend it.
Looking forward to Disco Sunday!!!
Pretty good. Might return. Outdoor seating was nice and service wasn’t too slow. Great to combine with going to the movies as the Regal is just down the block.
Ask for happy hour menu, they don’t necessarily tell you about it.
The Gand Band performs every Thursday 6:00-9:00. Great rock and roll band with a good looking singer. Excellent dinner entertainment.
Great dinner experience! Food was delicious and musical entertainment phenomenal! Loved the outdoor dining area!
Much improved from last time. New owners are doing a great job!
The staff seemed distracted by the show that they were hosting - our service was slow yet friendly.
Great live music!!!food was pretty good Would return!
We were lucky to have come in on a slow night mid week. We had the only table outside. The server was very nice and efficient. The food was very good. I had a pasta Alfredo dish which was excellent, and a large portion. My husband had steak which he said was cooked just right. They were out of a wine selection that we wanted, and we were given an alternative that was less favorable. We were charged the same price as the nicer selection. Didn't feel that was right, but overall the value of the meal was excellent with a Groupon offer, and the service was great. We would return for the food, outside seating, and service.
This was our first time at Oscar's and the food was very good and the service was great. Our only suggestion was that our main entree came out way too soon, since we were still working on our salad and appetizers. When that happened we felt rushed to eat so it wouldn't get cold (even though the staff wasn't rushing us). Otherwise great first time experience.
Oscar's is great. Tasty food, charming service, and delightful ambiance. Their showroom is terrific, and the bars are dazzling, in color, service, and service. What a wonderful place!
We had the patio to ourselves and it was lovely, I would definitely recommend for anyone who is on a date, 1st or 100th.
Great to have Oscar’s back full up and running! A+++
I expected a lot more after reading previous reviews. I ordered the steak salad, no flavor. My daughter ordered the lemon herb chicken which was better than my steak but overpriced. I unfortunately would not return. Sorry Oscar
FOOD WAS EXPENSIVE , I HAD EGGPLANT THAT WAS BURNT, WE SAT OUTSIDE ON SOMEWHAT OF A PATIO, WEATHER WAS GREAT, THATS ABOUT ALL I CAN SAY WAS GOOD ABOUT DINNER. SERVER WAS VERY NICE AND FRIENDLY
Our server was one of the best servers that we've had in a very long time at a restaurant. There was a little problem with my steak but it was immediately rectified and the owner himself came out to verify that everything was going well. It was one of the best ribeye steaks I've ever had and my husband's salmon dinner was extraordinary. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and plan on going back again and again and again. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening. Lynda Lewis
Must reserve extra time after an order placed. I waited over an hour for meal.
Michael is an awesome server and he works hard. We had a great time at the restaurant having Sunday lunch. Our server makes our experience a great one and it's always a pleasure seeing him at Oscars and we will be back soon.
The food was good and the waiter was alright. The owner came over and spoke to us and was a wonderful person. He made us feel right at home. I would go back anytime.
I like the food and the waiter was attentive. I thought the pricing was fare and can not wait for the bar to be open again.
Oscar's is a great restaurant. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is great because it's right in front of the restaurant and underneath string lights. You can see people walk by if you are seating outside. Their indoor seating is in two parts; one with the bar and the other seating is for their live shows. Their live shows are extra, we wished we knew about it so we can have reserved some seating to watch the show. The food was great. I had the eggplant and my husband had the Ribeye Sandwich, while our guests had the Rib Eye Steak and the eggplant as well. The eggplant has so much flavor and the sandwich was amazing with their version of au jus sauce. All in all, we look forward to coming back to see a show and trying their brunch menu on a separate day.
Excellent server and very friendly and good customer service
We dined on a Friday night, but since their liquor license is in limbo, the place was nearly empty. Andrew at the bar provided us service with a smile. The iceberg wedges were very tasty. The entrees could use a little more effort and care from the kitchen staff, especially considering the low demand upon the kitchen that evening.
Always love this place! Good food, good people and good atmosphere.
Oscars is a neighborhood favorite, especially for weekend brunch and "T Dance" on Sunday afternoons. It is also excellent for dinner. We went there last weekend for brunch and were not disappointed. Service is friendly and professional, food is excellent and very inexpensive and Oscar's atmosphere is vibrant with live music. Cocktails are served with a smile. Definitely recommend Oscar's for a weekend brunch.
Very nice brunch. Good live entertainment. Third time and each has been enjoyable. Recommend it.
Came back to this restaurant on Tuesday because the previous time they had great live music. Not this time.
Additionally, we had a great and very nice waiter. He came to the table and asked if we wanted another drink that would be at happy hour prices since we originally arrived before 7. ONE person asked for a drink. Shortly, the manager or owner, a woman behind the bar, came out to say that we could not get happy hour prices. Wouldn't it have been great customer service to go ahead and honor the happy hour price for the one drink but explain that they wouldn't do future drinks at happy hour prices? Might have cost an additional $3 but instead her attitude cost her bad relations with four people and no return business.
Great Sunday brunch. Food was really good and a great value. Jazz entertainment was a plus
Nice outdoor patio seating with large fountain. Live music at other times. Just off the main strip, so quieter and less riwdyvthan some other places.
This venue is undergoing a change of ownership. May be a good thing; current status seems to reflect a feeling of"hang on & wait."
Monday night Blues!! Wonderful!! Food was great---pulled pork quesadilla was tasty
This was our first time at Oscar's and it proved to be a pleasant experience. The hostess, Tia , was extremely personable and our waitress, Heather, took good care of us. Our food was tasty and warm.
