The food was amazing and the service was excellent.
Hip and delicious restaurant. Great cocktails and food!
The fried chicken was absolutely delicious. And they have a very nice cocktail menu too.
Awesome food! Have to get the pork shank! Amazing!
Delicious food with phenomenal service. The atmosphere was lovely, and all the staff were attentive. Will definitely return
The braised short ribs with bone marrow was amazing
Love this spot. Came here six months after it first opened and have been a repeat customer ever since. Food and drinks outstanding, and the decor is really well-thought out.
the food was excellent - every dish!!! The only problem - we ordered too much. Definitely going back to try their burger among other things. The short ribs, the chicken - perfect. Service terrific.
Food was amazing! We ordered the Soy Garlic Wings, various skewers, Osamil Burger, and Kimchi fried rice with Steak. The burger and steak were very rare (we asked for medium rare), but still delicious. The service was impeccable. Our waiter was so generous and helpful! He even gave us Soju to try for the table. Great experience overall.
Great cocktails variety
Highly recommended service food all great and meal is reasonably priced
Excellent restaurant with delicious, interesting dishes. We recommend the pork shank!
Fantastic Korean food and original makeovers of pub classics like burgers and wings.
Wonderful atmosphere and unique vibe. Will return!
The food was simply amazing! This was our first experience with Korean food, and it did not disappoint. The twice fried chicken wings with the chili glaze were amazing, the Korean kimchi, mung bean, pork pancake was out of this world, DO get the short ribs, you will be mindblown, and the piece de resistance was the pork belly! OMG. Crazy. Service is confusing, as you have about everyone helping you, but no continuity, no filling of water. The Osamil signature cocktail was, light and refreshing. I can't wait to return.
Amazing value and lots of choice. Bouillabaisse was so much we couldn’t finish it between 2; excellent service and despite it being totally full on a Friday night, it was not that noisy at all. Great and helpful servers, everything came quickly.
Waiters and bartender were distracted. Ordered 6 cocktails over the 3 hours there for dinner. Not one time did our drinks come on time and /or together. Once they made two of my drink. Food was fine as expected. Been here previously. The place wasn’t even packed in a Tuesday night.
Service was not very good. Waitresss was not able to answer our questions.
Good is outstanding, service was average, noise level is extreme
Awesome drinks and amazing food! .... the wings - OMG heaven!
Cocktails and bar scene here is great! Highly recommend.
Food is pretty good overall and don’t be afraid to over order.
Awesome food and service
Decent food and ambience! Will def go back again!
There drinks are good but there food was just okay. There pork shank we had was dry and the uni Bibimbap was bland. The only relatively good thing we had were there meat skewers.
Really nice restaurant to spend New Year’s Eve At. Lots of fun!
Really enjoyed our first visit to Osamil will definitely come back, lovely staff and atmosphere
All the food we got was great, and the drink was good as well. It is a good modern Korean restaurant and I would like to recommend my friend.
Outstanding food and friendly service
Wonderful dinner on Christmas Day. Love they had happy hour special even though it was a holiday. We had drinks and the wings and the kimchi rice with bacon, steak an egg. Outstanding flavors and presentation. Wait staff was friendly and efficient but not overbearing.
Osamil is off the main K-town drag which is convenient. You won't get bombarded too much with the outpouring traffic of Herald Square. Osamil, is gastropub style Korean restaurant. It's a good place to bring newbies as an intro to Korean cuisine. The service is a bit spotty, but the waitstaff is personable and sweet. The sweet potato fries are a must if you're into "meaty" fries, lightly dusted with seasoning. The duck confit salad is a perfectly light entree (Yes, duck confit in a Korean place). It is garnished with Korean pears and quite refreshing. My husband had the chicken and waffles, but why must they put avocado on everything? I would go back, but definitely for drinks and bar bites, not to indulge in Korean heritage.
Absolutely amazing meal. Vibe was also great, superb service etc see the photos for yourself
great Korean food. great ambiance. wonderful service waiter went above and beyond to make us comfortable...my new favorite
A great find - amazing value and tastes that will leave you wanting to revisit time and time again.
I went back during the holiday season and it was much more crowded than normal days. Make sure to reserve seats ahead of time! Because it was so crowded they did make mistakes of not bringin out what we asked for but they didn't have a problem revising the bill when we pointed that out. Their daily specials are great and everyone should take advantage!
Was super place for our annual get together
Amazing restaurant!! the food is delicious! the place is fun and service is fantastic!
Met by Gelo. He’s great! Our waiter was John - he was superb. Great meal!
Picked it on a whim and it was great. I will be back for sure.
2nd time here - 1st time had an issue with the hostess canceling our reservation as being late when we were there 15 minutes after the scheduled time which is within their 20-minute policy window. This time was a much better experience and the food equally as good!
We had a great experience at Osamil. We started with the $1 oyster happy hour, The wasabi soy sauce worked surprisingly well. We also had the grilled octopus which came in a sweet/spicy onion sauce that was delicious but more food than we expected and the baby octopus was cut up as opposed to whole. The burger was super rich and delicious, easily a top 10 burger that I’ve had in NYC. The hanger steak and friend rice was also delicious.
Including our drinks (3 beers) and tax our bill was ~$100
