Absolutely love this restaurant! Food was amazing (got the steak with rice) and the restaurant is beautiful. Ambiance was great for any event such as fun date night!
Apps were very good. Entrees were so-so. Noise level was a bit overwhelming.
Upon seeing many Korean people in a Korean restaurant, I knew the food would be authentic and good. And it was good.
We were a group of 10 people and tried many dishes. Everything was very good. Uni bibimbap was our favorite dish. Service was attentive. We will return. We were upstairs which was quieter than downstairs.
Awesome atmosphere with even better food. Reasonably priced with large portions
It is rare that you find a casual restaurant firing on all cylinders but Osamil delivers! Nice crowd, awesome food, terrific service, great ambiance all around. This is my new go-to place for a fun casual meal with friends.
Great value - excellent, interesting dishes at a very good price. Pleasant surprises included the beef jerky with nuts and the seafood pancake. It got loud after about 7pm.
I came here for dinner with a friend.
We were seated promptly. The server was friendly and attentive.
I got the K-Town Sidecar, which was very good.
We shared the squid fries, a short rib skewer, chicken wings, and the pork jowl. The chicken wings were excellent. I thought the squid fries and the short rib skewer were good as well
The pork jowl, unfortunately, was too tough for my liking.
I would come here again, but I would try a different entree next time.
What an incredible atmosphere and service. The food was inventive, delicious and portions were generous. Would definitely go back!
Delicious cocktail and happy hour prices. Food was good, but rice was extra. They also did not bring the traditional sides such as kimchi, which was disappointing. I don't think you could order it either.
Amazing food, not the best restaurant atmosphere but the food is so worth it!
The food was INCREDIBLE.
Being told there is a time limit right before you eat due to another reservation is quite uncomfortable especially when you have a reservation yourself.
Very noisy. Their version of bouillabaisse is great!
Fantastic! Will be back again for a third round.
As always Osamil did not disappoint. We enjoyed the classic wings, bulgogi and pork galbi – all delicious!
Great portions. Lots of varieties. Loved the spontaneous meal encounter!
Excellent and tasty food with the right portions. Lively atmosphere and very good service. Nice cocktails - the menu was excellent - felt like I should try everything!
The food is soooooo good. They have different deals everyday of the week and Tuesdays are for the wings. It’s so worth it! The kimchi fried rice with steak is hands down my favorite, I will always be going back for it! Our server our super nice and informative as well. Can’t wait to go again and try more, definitely recommend this place!
Got an early reservation during happy hour. Very lively atmosphere. Well priced specials including really tasty $1 wings and $4 off many cocktails. Everything we ordered was delicious- the wings, kimchi fried rice, Korean pancakes, rice cakes in a fish stew, kalbi. Five of us stuffed our faces and couldn’t finish everything. The price point was reasonable. Would certainly go back!
Restaurant had relaxed, cool ambiance! We tried 6 dishes amongst the 4 of us and can honestly say they were all delicious! Our waiter was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the food. Excellent!
Excellent sashimi and bulgogi beef, pretty good portions for value!
Way too loud for dinner with friends.
A wonderful Korean “pub”! The food we ordered was all delicious — Korean Market Fried Chicken was to die for and the beef dish we had (forget the name) was likewise great. Veggies and sauces were all yummy. Our servers were all friendly, helpful and very attentive. The beer and sake on offer are also very good. My only complaint is the noise level. Really too loud and bad for conversations. But for a late night meal (we came after a Broadway show) you won’t do better than the menu at Osamil. Definitely coming back. It’s a great place for a group of friends to get together.
One of the best hidden gems I’ve been to in the City in ages! Would thoroughly recommend. Excellent and innovative menu, wonderful service, and great value for menu. Shall revisit for sure.
NEXT LEVEL AMAZING
Upstairs is amazing!
Presentation was good.
Unfortunately the overall taste of the food was plain and spicy.
The service was not the best compared to other places.
Great service and food! Would recommend to a friend! The Pork Shank was amazing.
Osamil never disappoints. The place is wonderful for brunch or for dinner!
Fun Korean gastropub with a first rate menu and excellent execution by the kitchen. My server Jun was attentive and knew the food. Good draft beers at a reasonable price. Will return.
First time here and we will definitely be going back soon! The food was sensational, best duck we've had in a very long time and the Galbi were fantastic.
Music was very fun, decor is well thought out & the entrance is very inviting... lots of green plants, modern Scandinavian tiles, designer lighting... all set a nice mood. The menu is excellent. The service was terrific. We had spicy chicken wings, pancakes, sweet potato fries, and pork shank. We are going back to try the rest of the menu. Irene was our waiter, she made excellent suggestions for cocktails & beers... and was very patient with all our questions. Can't wait to go back.
Food was so good. Recommend the spicy sausage skewer and the fried rice.
Had family visiting from California and we had Sunday dinner there. Everything was amazing. Get the fried chicken! It won’t disappoint. The only thing that was lackluster was the grilled avocado with crab. Otherwise, everything we ordered (both types of fries, fried chicken, pork shank, shishito peppers, octopus salad, burrata salad, lamb chops, and chicken wings) was amazing. A perfect place for group dining
A spectacular find in the heart of it all. Food was delicious. Drinks were great. Ambiance was good for small groups or a date night.
We had a lovely dinner at Osamil. Everything tasted amazing, and came out quickly. The staff were very also friendly
We were seated at a table with backless stools so not comfortable at all. Server was very good but our sashimi was partly frozen and there were some bad pieces in there. They took it off the bill but charged us for the small bottle of sake that came with it as a special since it was opened. If I was the manager, I would’ve come over, apologized for serving bad fish and said keep the sake on the house. But that’s just me.
