Very good food great
Food is consistently good! If you eat in the non-hibachi area, it is quieter.
Food was bland and because they were busy everything was rushed
Poor planning on restaurants part. Ignored reservations and terrible seevice
The reservation was a total debacle. 815 reservation. Didnt sit until 930
Made a reservation but showed up to a mob scene. Waited over half an hour with no progress and had to leave to find food somewhere else
We made reservations for Valentine's day, but the restaurant overbooked. Our reservation meant nothing. We weren't seated until an hour after the reservation time.
There were too many more reservations than number of seats available. It seemed like the restaurant had a lot of overbooking.
Literally showed up for Valentine’s Day dinner with a reservation and the line was about 70 people long. They totally screwed us and overbooked or neglected to change their reservation availability. Either way can’t be trusted. Terrible. Zero communication in restaurant. Complete free for all, people in line being total savages cutting and plotting to storm the table. Brutal. Bad experience.
Our reservation on Valentine’s Day was delayed 45 minutes and there was a line out the door to get in.
Honestly the food was amazing and the staff was nice but we had to wait twenty minutes in line just to tell them that we were there for our reservation. We were there on valentines day but it was a little ridiculous. There was no organization with their check in process and the hostess seemed frazzled. I told her we had a reservation at 7:30 and she didnt say one word, looked at her list (which i didnt see my name on) and then answered someone elses question and basically ignored me. Eventually a waiter said he had two more seats available for a table and we were waiting for the host to say its okay with them and after no one said anything we eventually told him we were a party of two and he said to go with him but i have no idea if we cut someone else in line and it seemed like the hostess had no idea either. Hopefully they will be more organized next time. The food was yummy but portions were small for the price.
DON'T expect your reservation to be honored. Valentine's day 2020. Walked in and the place looked nice, food looked and smelled great, place seemed lively and fun.
Unfortunately that's where the positives stopped. Arrived on time for a 7:15 reservation, the line to check-in at with the hostess was stretching out the door. We were talking to couples that had been waiting in line for 30 minutes just to speak to the hostess, even before getting a pager and being directed to the bar to wait for the table they had ostensibly reserved for who knows how long. My partner and I bailed after waiting 20 minutes with almost no movement in the line. Went next door to another restaurant and still had a fantastic evening. Clearly they're not having problems getting people in the door, so why they would overbook themselves to this degree is either a staggering feat of incompetence or contempt for their customers' time. Either go at an off hour and hope for a table, or keep scrolling.
Very nice restaurant and understandably busy since it was Valentine’s Day. Food was very good and the chef was talented. Lobster pieces a little small but very good overall.
It was very crowded and they managed the stream of people poorly leading to the main doors both being open on a cold winter night. I ate nearly my entire meal with my coat on. The host was also wearing her winter jacket by the end of the meal. Food was great.
It was a great place to try for Valentine’s Day dinner
Very nice evening ... fun food ... I can only recommend it
This place is fun and the food is yum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great food, great prices and the fact the they had karaoke right down stairs was another plus!!! Will definitely be going again!
This was a great find! Food, atmosphere, and ambiance all excellent. We recommend to anyone.
Osaka used to be a great place. The food is still great, but the show is no longer exceptional and the service became very poor...
Great food. I got the steak and shrimp hibachi. Delicious but I was still hungry after. Wish the steak was a little bigger. Also wish they let the hibachi chefs experiment with new material. Would like to see up and coming hibachi chefs featured alongside the usual cast.
The food is good, but servers are rude and the Hibachi show is more like watching a robot.
It was a busy Friday night but the experience was not great. Had a reservation but had to wait. The server was not at all friendly. The food was really marginal. Disappointed.
Amazing. Good food. Good entertainment. Good prices. Good service. Good alcohol. Perfect.
Great fun and food - they really put on a show. Only complaint is the amount of garlic was a bit too much - my breath was garlicky for days after and the leftovers in the fridge permeated the fridge odor.
Made a reservation for a birthday dinner. Noted that it was a birthday celebration, nothing was done as requested. Table across from us was also celebrating a birthday and received a free dinner for the birthday guest as well as the option for a cake. Overall, service was terrible.
These people are outrageous. Everyone in our party was 21+ and a few people were denied from the bar. Additionally, they instantly asked us how much we had to drink when we first came to the bar.
It was okay. The food wasn't great but the space is really nice and fun to be in. There is a bar downstairs
I love hibachi and have been to many Japanese steakhouses. This one is probably the best in the Boston. I highly recommend it.
I think the sushi / sashimi is ok, but hot food tastes like pre-made food and there seemed to be no real chef. The dumplings were cold inside so we asked them to re-fry them, then they came back burned. The tempura shrimp was the same thing. They were somewhat cold inside which means they cooked the shrimp first then breaded the cold shrimp and fried it cold. It was definitely not good. It seems like there is no chef in the back. I guess we should have tried the hibachi instead. But still.
We were seated quickly and had a good meal. Nothing wrong with anything but I have had better experiences and food at other Hibachi Restaurants.
Worst dining experience ever! Cam on Christmas Eve with our family of 5, and had the meanest servers in my entire life. The waitstaff was flat out miserable, hibachi cook did not do a show at all. Nothing. Waited forever for him to start cooking and he was done within in minutes. Just unbelievable! DON NOT GO HERE!!!!
This was the first time I had been to this restaurant. I’ve been going to Japanese Hibachi grill restaurants since the late 1960s. While there were only four customers at this particular table, the cooking "show" by the chef was the FASTEST on record ever for me. He did the usual expected "tricks" at the table and was okay.
The only criticism of the food I have was that it was a little SALTIER than I’ve found on average.
Friendly atmosphere and Fun! Thanks so much for a great experience. Service was attentive and your hospitality appreciated.
Great for a group of friends! What you’d expect from hibachi and good environment. Will go back!
Great service and the food was really good. Just the crew was pushing us and that was a little bit stressful.
Waitress was rude, rushed us to order
We came with a party of 11. We all sat together around one grill. They were great, entertaining and delicious. Tons of food, great value.
Thank you Osaka
We were in town for my birthday, we chose to go here for dinner. The atom
Had a sweet 16 birthday party dinner for my daughter and 8 friends. Service was great and prices very reasonable. The girls were allowed to sing Karaoke in the lounge after dinner and had a really fun time. Thanks to Rita for coordinating a fun evening!
