We went to Orsa and Winston to celebrate a birthday, and it was a great treat! Service was incredible, second only to the food where every dish was flavorful and delicious. There was an abundance of surprise dishes in addition to our tasting menu that really made our dinner delightful and memorable.
We drove from the west side, and we would recommend the trip to anyone looking for a delicious meal and great experience.
We had a great time
The food was delicious and surprising
The service was great
Loved it all❣️❣️❣️ Will definitely go back❣️
Unfortunately we were disappointed with Orsa and winston. I’d been looking forward to going for a long time but the food was very underwhelming especially for the price. Food was all just a bit disconnected and I expected more than berries and mascarpone for a Michelin star dessert. The service was great although “service charge” that didn’t include gratituity was confusing.
We enjoyed this restaurant so much! Have us a very good feeling in the restaurant!
Over the top spectacular!
Very nice experience. We have received 4 gift dishes, which were delicious too. The pairing wines were special and good-tasting.
Fantastic food for every course!
The food was exceptional but the wine pairing was what made the food stand out even more. Service was great. Plenty of parking nearby. Highly recommended.
One of my favorite restaurants and experiences in all of LA!
The food was fantastic and creative. The service was impeccable. Our waiter was so informative about the wine.
Wonderfully curated fantasy of modern cuisine masterpieces. Wonderful mixture of salt and sweet, neutral and creamy flavors, expertly paired with a sublime selection of wines, including a sour beer the night we were there. Highly reccomend to anyone up for a beautiful dining adventure.
They remembered and reminded us of our anniversary. Lots of compliments from the chef and a good portion of food!
Anniversary dinner…one of my all-time fav meals.
O&W is in my top 5 in LA. The food is delicious, almost delicate and very well balanced. Their risotto is to die for and their service very charming & friendly. The five course tasting is supplemented with an additional five tastings/courses they call “gifts from the kitchen.” It ranges from a unusual, but good, corn soup w nectarine & roe to a superb fried soft-shell crab. All told, sans beverage, it’ll be just under $200/person. Nearby parking lots available for approx $12. Front-of-house & kitchen staff are top notch. Go for the satsuki rice/risotto!
It was very nice. The music was a little loud but everything else was beautiful.
From the moment we stepped through the door our experience was unique and one of a kind. It was a lovely birthday dinner and we would highly recommend Orsa & Winston to anyone!
Outstanding service with incredible food perfectly coursed out. A great spot to celebrate together.
Just all-around spectacular.
The food was delicious. We were well taken care of. It was a wonderful experience!
Really interesting courses. Loved the tuna, the scallop & rice, and all the extra courses they surprised us with.
Great food, loved all of the “chef’s compliments” made for a great meal!
One of the best meals. Loved every dish. I am a picky eater and I made a menu request and they accommodated above and beyond.
Repeat customers - friendly service and great wine pairings for creative and delicious food
Amazing, and the Sommelier was so friendly and knowledgeable.
3rd time there. Always excellent!
Loved celebrating my husband’s birthday at Orsa & Winston. The components of each dish were obviously carefully selected and combined in such an interesting way. I really liked that the flavors weren't overwhelming but still distinct. Everyone there was very friendly and happy to answer any questions we had. The wine pairing was great. We sat at the chef’s counter and enjoyed watching the dishes being created and plated. Would definitely recommend for a special occasion.
Dinner was incredible. Service and knowledge of the servers were equally as incredible. We enjoyed every second of our experience!
Love the rice - I can taste layers of flavors and the mixture of textures are fantastic. The reason for the four star is the duck breast - I’ve had better duck in normal restaurants in Chinatown. The overall experience was good, service was stunning. I’d like to come back and try different menus.
The Mrs & I celebrated our 31st, and the folks at Orsa & Winston really took care of us. Great for celebrations in a quiet setting. Food was outstanding, service unbeatable. Definitely recommend!
Wonderful service and unique cuisine experience. Interesting fusion of Japanese and Italian cuisines. Didn't try any wine but the beer selection was unique. I highly recommend the Stillwater Sake Saison and Rosee d'Hibiscus Spiced Wheat Ale. Light, smaller plate setting of 5 courses but there were complimentary amuse bouche, palate cleansers, and housemade bread dishes that definitely filled us up.
Quiet, dim, intimate ambiance made for smaller (2-4 person) parties. Great place for date nights and there were multiple birthday celebrations. Highly recommend sitting at the counter and watching the chefs work their magic.
As usual, really enjoyable outing. Food is great , superb value, excellent service. Wonderful night out.
great food and service. staff is wonderful.
very nice old world wine pairings.
the ambience is poor.
music way to loud.
seating is very uncomfortable and poor quality.
all in... i would return but consider this a very casual eating experience.
Excellent food, service and ambiance
Amazing! Everything was just Amazing!
Truly an incredible eating experience from the service to the taste, magical.
What a great experience! I somehow got lucky and found a reservation for a last minute date night. It was our first “Michelin star” dining experience and it did not disappoint. The space itself is laidback with soft lighting. Music selection was a vibe I enjoyed the eclectic Japanese tunes.
All the dishes complimented each other and flowed out perfectly. I’m vegan and they were able to accommodate without me having to sacrifice flavor. Service was attentive. We enjoyed a bottle of Sake and left satisfied. Already trying to book again.
The meal was fantastic. Everything I had was well prepared and delicious. The service was top notch and prompt. Can’t wait until I have an opportunity to go back.
An amazing dinner experience. Everything was delicious!
