   We have never had Basque food before, but this was a brilliant start. The food was very good, staff were attentive and were fully bilingual. Really good value as well

   Photos were very out dated, what had probably once been an upscale restaurant was now a place frequented by only locals, staff was friendly and it was not a bad experience but not what expected from the posted photos

   Nothing special - we were disappointed after so many great reviews. We are in the more formal section upstairs. Downstairs had more life and may have been a better choice.

    Such an excellent choice for our one night in Madrid. Recommend wine was astounding and everything we ate we relished. The monkfish is especially exquisite.

    Wow! We booked a table upstairs for a family celebration. Very attentive staff team. Food was best had so far—tapas and tasting menu was phenomenal. We did late siesta lunch and spent three hours there. Never rushed. Go here—you will not he disappointed! Get cava to start—you deserve it. Thx Orio—we will be back!!!

    They were not particularly welcoming or understanding. The food was fine; basic tapas you can eat anywhere in Spain. I wouldn’t go back and don’t recommend.

    We had a wonderful meal. Very accommodating staff as we had a mess up with our reservation but they quickly took care of us and treated us very well. English only travelers that try Spanish when we can. I would recommend again and if the situation allows we will enjoy again soon.

    We had oysters, sausage, peppers for appetizers and tuna and pork for the main course. Everything was so fresh a d delicious! Wine prices are very reasonable too.

    Our first visit to this restaurant on 24 Dec for dinner. The food and service was food. We tried the tasting menu and the highlight was the Monk Fish and the dessert. It would have been better if we could try out some of the tapas as well.
