    Had to wait 30 mins for reservation. Drinks took 22 mins to come out food took over an hour from when we ordered.

    First visit for a birthday dinner- very impressed! Interior is carefully crafted and very unique with burnt edge wood on the walls and in art around the dining area. Our server was exceptional, making good recommendations. The Queso Fundido was sinfully delicious, and my wife , who likes spice was quite pleased with the salsa selections. We went with the Tomahawk steak and it was among the best I have had. We tried the flan and lava cake and enjoyed both, as they were unique interpretations of classic desserts. We will be back!

    Changed my reservation on a Wednesday night about 3 times. From 7 to 12 to 14 people. They were so accommodating. Our waitress was attentive, kind and personable. The food was amazing and the drinks were delicious/unique. This is one of my new favorite places to visit. Thank you for helping me celebrate my daughter’s 28th bday. 🥰

    I had the Barbacoa. It was horrible. Resembled dog food. Whoever allowed that out of the kitchen should be ashamed. The runs was good, but overall if you can’t eat your dinner - it’s a failure. Management didn’t seem to care. Don’t go to this restaurant.

    This was our second time in. I kept feeling like the flavor was missing in each dish. Tortillas chips, no salt. Guac was bland and the quesabirras were just ok. Ambience was great. Server was nice.

    We wanted to try something new and decided to give Origen a go… it was SO good. We loved it so much! The food was good, atmosphere beautiful, and there was even live music. Highly recommend!

    Food, service & ambiance were great. The restaurant faces the west side, so it got pretty hot & the sun was in some of our faces for a good hour or so. Might want to invest in some good sun shades.

    We came in expecting a quality, upscale dinner for two, but unfortunately, the experience fell short from the start. When we asked if one of their cocktails could be made virgin, our server didn’t know—something you’d expect staff at this price point to be able to answer. We ordered the queso as a starter, which came out incredibly greasy and oily—not appetizing. The main dishes were mixed: the Birria tacos were solid and probably the highlight of the meal, but the steak was tough, overcooked, and came out lukewarm. Things went downhill with dessert. We ordered it specifically without the cherry compote, as I don’t eat fruit toppings. It arrived with the compote—and a hair. The server did take it back and said it would be remade, but what came out looked like they just removed the fresh raspberry garnish while leaving the cherry compote on the plate. After waiting another 15 minutes, we gave up and just asked for it to be removed from the bill. At that point, our server seemed personally offended, and it took another 15 minutes to “find a manager” to approve the adjustment. For a $150 meal for two, this should have felt like a polished, thoughtful experience. Instead, it felt careless and unrefined. This restaurant has a long way to go before it lives up to its pricing or promises.
