Located in the heart of Toronto's stylish fashion district, Oretta offers a distinct variety of private dining spaces designed to make you feel at home. Our mezzanine floor has two feature rooms; L'attico and Sorrgiorno, which can be used independently or as a whole dependant on your event needs. Our presentation kitchen on a 15 foot long marble top island is the most versatile component of the L'attico private dining space, offering space for a satellite bar or cooking demonstration from one of our Chef's. The Sorrgiorno provides an intimate dining experience with views overlooking the vaulted ceilings of the main dining room.

My wife and I made reservations for a Saturday evening to try the Chef's 7 course tasting menu, we also added the Sommelier curated beverage pairings. From the greeter on the street who knew we were looking for the entrance, to the bussers promptly clearing our many dishes- everyone we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. For anyone reserving the tasting menu, you may need to remind them at the front. I'm not sure if OpenTable forwards that add-on note, because we were sat at a small table and when I mentioned the tasting menu, we were moved to a more appropriate section. Our server elevated the experience by really getting to know our preferences which they communicated to the kitchen. We were also excited to try the suggested wine pairings which allowed us to taste wines we may not have otherwise though of. The dinner was about two hours, the courses come out quick and they don't rush you to finish. Needless to say we loved every dish and highly recommend this to anyone looking for something new to try!

Went for happy hour. Happy hour menu had a good selection of drinks and food. Calamari was just ok. Pizza and antipasto were good. Campari spirtz were pleasantly boozy.

Disappointing experience. My cocktail was overly spicy with no orange flavor. Pizza was served cold and not sliced. Tiramisu looked nothing like the photos and tasted like dry cake. Service was slow, and the restrooms were awkward and poorly maintained. I wouldn't return, but the interior is nice.

Honestly food and server were great! However the hostess was so rude and dismissive. We booked a party of 11 under 1 reso and when being seated they were splitting our group into 2 separate tables. Not even near each other, when asked to be put together as we are a group she yelled at us saying we didn’t specify being seated together. Even if that was the case, being publicly embarrassed for asking a simple question was uncalled for. We assumed we would be put together considering it was a reso of 11 and also put our card down. After she made the fuss, they ended up seating us together anyways. So we did not understand the tone. They definitely need to work on being first impressions because it definitely set the tone regardless of our server being cool.

Very kind, helpful and attentive staff. Ordered the Cacio e Pepe, which was plated table side by a very knowledgeable lady who explained the process. My friend and I shared the tiramisu, which was recommended by our server (I forget his name but he was a very friendly gay man with a tattoo sleeve). The place was beautifully decorated, and the place even has their own pyjama line, which I think is very chic. There was even a disastrous first date next to us, so we got dinner and a show! 10/10 would recommend!

This place is fantastic, the menu has me feeling like we are were in Italy. Such a nice date night! If there was any negative you could say its louder than a typical restuarant but sometimes you want those hustle and bustle vibes. 9/10 and thats only because i never give 10/10 anywhere.
