   Oretta was extremely disappointing. The only thing about our night that was decent was the service from our waiter. The restaurant is very dimly lit and extremely loud. But the food and value was the worst part. Everything we got was unseasoned and flavourless. Portion sizes were extremely tiny, especially for the cost. Everything was expensive and we don’t mind paying a premium for great food! But this was not at all that. Some of our food came out cold. Needless to say, at the end of the night we were left hungry and dissatisfied. For someone who was excited to dine here, and saw a few good reviews, we were left confused as to if this was the right restaurant. There are plenty of better Italian within the GTA!

   We did not enjoy our experience. We told the server one of us was allergic to shell fish and wanted to avoid fish as well. We got octopus served and then was given fish. We were told we would have lamb as we don’t eat beef but was later told that the only option other than fish was beef. We left our main course and didn’t eat. The noise level was high and our server was super busy. We spent almost 800 dollars and did not eat fully or enjoy the meal.

   The service and atmosphere were good. But the portion size was tiny and while it may have tasted good, not worth the price I paid
