   Good A bit on the expensive side…busy place but nice…food good….high table ( where we sat)…in a busy location….

   My partner and I had the pleasure of dining at Oretta Midtown a few nights ago, and what made the night truly unforgettable was our server, Luca. From the moment we sat down, Luca went above and beyond—not just in service, but in creating a connection that made us feel welcomed, seen, and celebrated. He has a rare presence that elevates the entire experience. The food was incredible, yes—but it was Luca who made the evening feel personal and memorable. Impressed, I returned tonight with my mother-in-law for a special occasion. I made a note in our OpenTable reservation requesting Luca again, and sure enough, he greeted us like family. He not only remembered me, he topped the night off with a beautiful surprise dessert to celebrate the evening. It’s gestures like that which transform a great dinner into something we’ll be talking about for a long time. He mentioned he may be relocating to Oretta’s new downtown location—which is no surprise. His ability to lead with empathy, detail, and heart is second to none. If he’s this impactful already, I can only imagine what he’ll do with even more responsibility. To Oretta’s leadership: you have a star on your hands. I hope this is just the beginning of a long and rewarding chapter with your brand. My partner and I left not just satisfied, but inspired—and yes, we’ve already connected with Luca on Instagram to keep in touch. Looking forward to supporting him and the Oretta team wherever he goes next.

   I was very surprised that I could not add prosciutto (which is on the menu) to my avocado sandwich as a side. The only add meat option was sausage. The service was not great either.

   I am so happy with my birthday celebration at Oretta! The staff were super friendly and were very easy to talk to. The food was absolutely amazing (the portion sizes were great too). The atmosphere was also very welcoming and the decor was beautiful. Would definitely recommend it!

   Had a great time celebrating a special occasion at Oretta Midtown. Staff were friendly, and our waitress in particular -- Anna -- was highly attentive to our needs while giving us ample room/time to enjoy on our own. Thanks to everyone who helped make our time there very pleasant.

   Service was slow despite the fact that the restaurant wasn't at capacity. Our server also switched halfway through the meal despite the fact they were still working in the restaurant which left us confused. We were waiting for over 25 minutes before we had to flag down a server. It was also a group members birthday which was left in the open table notes. At the downtown location, the staff brought out a cookie with a sparkler, which didn't happen here despite the fact that it was brought out to another table. Overall an underwhelming experience at Oretta midtown.

   I went to Oretta for my birthday (on a tuesday). My pasta came a little cooler than I'd prefer and the taste was just okay. Same thing with the appetizers. I would go back bit would like opt for different dishes.

   The food was not good at all, the fruit plate was a joke. We were 6 people and paid $500 for a side plate of white pineapple, cheap pastries, and dry steak.

    A shame to look forward to a Mother's Day lunch and have it be so disappointing.
