The Orchid Room for afternoon tea is just brilliant. Service was excellent, the team could not have been more friendly or helpful. Afternoon tea was delicious, we had to take a doggie bag home, couldn't leave anything behind! Highly recommend this beautiful place, such a gorgeous setting and a stunning hotel.

Very enjoyable afternoon tea with attentive service and refills of chosen teas and sandwiches,scones etc and box to take away left overs. Only negative to our visit was rather wet day to enjoy the lovely grounds, and only us in orchid room for afternoon tea so atmosphere a bit quiet.

On the drive into the grounds of the Fairmount we knew from the greeting of the concierge our afternoon tea in the Orchid Tea Room was outstanding. The ambiance, the food and the surroundings were amazing for a birthday special for my mum. The service and staff were were extremely attentive and friendly making the visit one to remember.

Firstly we were greeted by Frederica & Alex was our server! What a fantastic experience from them both, they are both a credit to the Hotel and very welcoming and professional, that is what makes an experience an excellent one. The afternoon Tea was exceptional with just the right amount of savouries, the scones then came and were warm with clotted cream , homemade jam and lemon curd ( not too acidic ) . The cakes OMG , sublime , light and the pastry was just unbelievable 😍. As it was my wife’s birthday, they surprised her with a beautiful chocolate mousse. Earl grey tea and Laurent Perrier Champagne finished off a great day. The gardens and terraces are superbly presented and clean. Th e Fairmont Windsor is beautiful and a hidden gem next.

This is my third visit to the Orchid Room and the afternoon tea never disappoints. The service is always impeccable and the food delicious. It really is a fabulous place to visit for any occasion.
