Our player pianos make us unique! But our food makes us special. We feature rich European-influenced American dishes using things like:
- Eggs from vegetarian-fed free-range chickens, high in healthy Omega 3 fatty acids
- White whole wheat flour, a variety naturally high in fiber yet light enough for pastry
- Vegetables from local farms that are certified organic growers
- Butter, milk, and ice cream from grass-fed cattle, another Omega 3 source.

Our food is not low-fat or low-calorie, but its ingredients are healthful. The meal will leave you feeling reinvigorated, not weighed down!

Entertainment
The Orchestria Palm Court restaurant features music from a century ago, as originally heard in a bar/restaurant - on nickelodeon player pianos. You'll find it to be a unique and charming dining environment.

Don't forget to check out the self-playing violin, masterful engineering from 1912 that still plays beautifully!

This was our first visit to this restaurant and we very pleasantly surprised. The pianos were enjoyable to listen to; the volume was appropriate. The menu was not extensive, but had enough choices that provided a good variety and price range. A few more choices in drinks would have been good.
Although we were not a part of the theater crowd, we enjoyed their costumes. It was an enjoyable evening!

The food here is great. The people are friendly. But the most fascinating thing is their collection of old-fashioned music players. They are fun to watch and a joy to listen to. The old fashioned ice cream soda fountain is also fun. You have to order something from it. You definitely need to make reservations because they're only open for a few hours each week.

The concept of ordering at the bar for food and drink isn’t what I expected. Service is nearly non-existent. The restaurant was about half full and there was one waiter and one person taking orders and helping. In order to have our wine when ordered it I needed to carry the bottle and glasses to the table. After a busy day I wanted more service.
The menu is interesting and the food is good. The many player pianos and other old time musical instruments make it nice.

Very unique kitschy gem of a find. Great historical journey through the age of self-driving pianos and they play while dining and there are more than a dozen throughout. Limited dining window so you have to plan and reserve in advance but worth the wait. Innovative food prep and choices, limited but well selected wines and come to find out it was planned as an original soda fountain so the desert menu is unique and all choices are a hit. Never experienced anything like this. Totally San Jose - smart innovative journey on a path of your own making and has an attitude while not putting on airs or trying to show off. Authentic and self-determined in a good soft and charmed way. Well done. Will go again.

Filled with musical, mechanical wonders! This is a very good restaurant, even without the player pianos and other gems from 100 years ago.

Fun place to enjoy a bit of history with player pianos and player violins. Service was really good. Food was just good but the dessert was fantastic. Worth going at least once.

The owners were very, VERY personable. One used to live in Italy so we had a nice discussion about that. We got the history of the building from the other owner. We both ordered surf n turf and the portions were perfect! The rib eye could’ve been cut with a butter knife. Perfectly cooked. The cheese plate was okay; it would be fabulous if they added Italian meats. The house wine (local Paso Robles) by the bottle is a great value. Bread and water were cheerfully refilled without asking.

The interior is very clean. I saw no cobwebs or dust and the ceiling is quite high; it’s a 2-story room. Whoever cleans it does a good job. There are several player pianos that rotate playing. It’s a tad loud but not obnoxious. It reminded me of a high class saloon from the Wild West you see in movies. We enjoyed ourselves.

A 15% gratuity is automatically added to the bill. We wanted to give more but they don’t take it. A server doesn’t take the order or bring a bill. Guests order and pay at the back bar (not really a bar-no seating). It’s a small place so getting up to order is not a big deal and adds to the ambiance.

I’ll eat there again.

Unique ambiance and great food makes this place special. If you are looking for a different and satisfying dining experience in downtown San Jose I recommend Orchestria Palm Court. The food is excellent. Being serenaded by player pianos is an only-here experience. White table cloth casual. Be prepared for a reasonable but not extensive menu, limited beverage choice and a bit of a wait. If you like old fashioned ice cream sodas you need to go here.

A truly unique dining experience, great food and service, I highly recommend this place. It's a great dinner spot before a concert/show/theater or other downtown event. The food is excellent, prices very reasonable, and the service quite friendly but it's the old-time ambience that makes Orchestria special. Do yourself a favor, make a reservation and check this place out.

Our theater group comes here every chance we get. Our only wish is that this gem was open more often. The food is very good and we like the owner immensely. The fountain has great offerings for children and those of us who remember the good old days.

Great old time atmosphere. Player pianos make for a unique experience, and the food (rib eye steak, Austrian goulash) did not disappoint. Great birthday dinner date for the wife.

Great restaurant with delicious food, interesting menu, and great ambiance.
The restaurant is like a music museum: Player pianos, piano rolls, etc.
Orchestria Palm Court is great fun before or after visiting the California Theater or any time.

The food is very good. The authentic historical player pianos are fascinating and the staff love to tell you about them, and set them playing for you. Very special environment. A real gem. And their soda fountain is authentic too!
