Everything was great from the ambiance kf the restaurant to the food and the waiters.. their food is excellent the price was worth it..
We both had prime rib. A large and small but both were the Same size. Drinks got messed up as well. Could have been more attentive for service
Amazing view. Great sunset. Drinks expensive. Interior needs updating. Food good.
Always enjoy our time at Orange Hill. Service is always wonderful. Our waiter Jason was very personable and attentive. We appreciated his light conversation and making sure we were always satisfied.
Orange Hill Brunch is always our go to place for our special occasions.
Loved loved loved the food. Sooo much of it. I ordered an omelet and had three plates of buffet food and bananas foster. I actually felt ill for over 24 hours due solely to my excessive consumption. Pricey but possibly the best selection of buffet food I have ever had. Considering I used to live in Las Vegas, the buffet capital, that is saying a lot.
Wonderful Experience. We had out-of-state visitors who commented that it’s their best dining out experience. The food is fresh, the service is extremely pleasant, the background music choice and sound level were optimal for carrying a conversation with guests, and the icing on the cake is the breathtaking view! We pledged to be back at least once a month!
Great dining experience
Went there for a date with a special lady friend of mine and the service, food and atmosphere is just phenomenal. I made a reservation for the best seat in the patio and that is what we were given. The the entrance to the restaurant with the Koi Pond is absolutely beautiful.
I am a regular at Orange Hill. Unfortunately we made twelve brunch reservations on Sunday I had to wait almost an hour to be seated. We decided to sit in the Sun due to the length of time we had to wait. They only seat people outside with umbrellas on one side of the outdoor patio because it obstructs the view of the diner sitting inside on the opposite side of the patio. So basically, they only use one section of the patio. Then, you have to wait while people get up and down and up and down for their food. I recommend going early cuz you never know when people are going to give up their table.
Food was great and our server was awesome. We come here ever so often and it never disappoints!
The brunch buffet was good but the service was terrible. The wait staff was nowhere to be seen. When you did see them they were forgetful or would take forever accommodating your request. It took 15 minutes to get the check and then another 15 minutes to get it back. Everyone around me was having the same experience. Very disappointing when you are paying $50 a plate
Picked this place to enjoy a brunch date. Found the options to be very satisfying and to enjoy quite a lovely view. I supposed typical brunch custom of downing mimosas may basis my review, but both my date and I enjoyed everything about Orange Hill and it’s staff.
We celebrated our 3 year anniversary at the Orange Hill Cafe and we left with our tummies full and a huge smile. This is the best brunch I've had in years. Wait staff were very attentive and friendly. Beautiful location and scenery. We will definitely plan to come back.
Staff is wonderful.
Food is disappointing
Mostly enjoyed the visit. Food was good -not great, but good. We got the requested window table. Enjoyed the view. We had an extremely group of loud young ladies at the table next to us. They did not appear to be drunk, just very obnoxious and loud. The waiter offered to move us to a quiet booth after I kiddingly asked for noise canceling headphones, but we did not want to give up the window seat.
Allan is the best waiter we had. Very friendly. Assistive and kind. As well Josh too. We luv staying at tge bar. Couches are comfortable. We luv the place👍🏻
We went for a birthday celebration, and there were some red flags that we noticed relatively quickly and unfortunately it went downhill from there. We arrived at 6:40 for our 7 o’clock reservation, obviously we didn’t expect a table right away so we went into the bar. The view is extremely nice, you oversee a lot of orange county. We were at the bar until just before seven and the bartender wanted to close out the tab which is a little strange since usually it’s transferred to the table in a high end place like that. That was red flag number one. The second red flag was when we were waiting for our table, we weren’t seated until 710, which was extremely strange since the restaurant was relatively empty and we had been there for a while. Once we sat down we waited another 10 minutes or so for the waitress and ordered the spinach artichoke dip and some other food. When that came out it had a very distinct fish taste to it which obviously is quite bad, and that was the third red flag because it ruined our appetites for the rest of dinner. The tortilla soup even had a fishy taste. Pretty awful.
I would say if you are looking for a view and a drink at the bar it is a good place. Avoid other than that...
When in Southern California my favorite place to dine.
Great food great view great dinner
Definitely one of our favs! We lived in Orange for many years, and always headed to Orange Hill for special occasions or happy hour on the patio to look at the view, watch the Disneyland fireworks and hang out with friends. The food is always fresh, beautifully prepared, great portions and lots of choices. The specialty drink menu is fabulous, and the renovated bar is very inviting. We highly recommend Orange Hill!
Brunch is overpriced for the poor quality of food at the brunch. The oyster, sushi tuna, sashimi was not fresh at all. The food at the buffet was cold or at room temp very dangerous. Save your money and go somewhere else. Not worth $65 a person.
My husband and I came to have dinner here with another couple to celebrate my birthday. I found this restaurant on yelp and was looking at the photos and saw that this place sits up on a hill. We arrived at the restaurant and were amazed at the beautiful view. The ambiance was so romantic and the food was delicious. The ribeye steaks were very well cooked and tasty. The chocolate lava cake with the ice cream was amazing. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants fine dining and romance.
Went for an early Easter brunch! Loved the food great experience, my children ate okay for a buffet I didn't feel my children are enough for the price, but that's my kids! Overall great experience wasn't very busy at all! We had a 10am reservation service and food was awesome!
Waitress was super friendly, customer service was excellent and the food was delicious.
I will definitely coming back and recommend it to my friends.
From the moment I got there the parking valet took great care of me the staff to receive me and so I took great care of me and our waitress Claudia was excellent overall it was a great experience and we were well taken care of by the staff
The food wasn’t VERY good but the view took my breath away. Although a bit pricey for what they give you, the view and ambiance of the place made the whole visit worth it
My husband and I ate at Orange Hill recently for our anniversary. The setting was great, as was the service and the food was excellent. The view at sunset was a spectacular site. It was a perfect evening.
My husband and I ordered filet mignon and skirt steak. The meat was so tender; best we've had in a long time. The view was fabulous, especially close to sunset. Our waiter was very good and added to a very nice evening. We will return.
It was the perfect touch of romance for my girlfriends birthday dinner! Such a wonderful experience
Sunday evenings are definitely busy and noisy. Servers very busy and we had several different servers throughout the meal. Our salad course was forgotten and time between courses was long. Burrata/Prosciutto appetizer was excellent. Prime rib was just sub par and fatty. Gnocchi/pork belly entree was excellent.
We made a reservation for 2 ( 2 weeks in advance) for our anniversary dinner. We requested a window seat, but were not given one without an additional wait time, even though there were window seating available. The service started out fine then declined steadily. It was not a crowded evening in the least. We received our drinks and appetizers in a timely manner, however we waited an extremely long time to be served our main course. My husband ordered the prime rib cooked rare, when it arrived, it was cooked well beyond medium and his baked potato was cold. What should have been a wonderful evening, at a special restaurant, was very disappointing. The food was fine, but nothing compared to the likes of Ruth's Cris or Mortons, which is where we will go for special occasions in the future. This is a great place to go for drinks, appetizers and the view, other than that, don't bother.
Always a beautiful view with a good meal. Love the calamari and the new butcher cheese and meat board. Delicious!
Food was bountiful, the bubbles flowed, and the service was excellent.
Was very pleased with the food and service . Very helpful staff from the parking to leaving
Table next too us was belligerently loud and there was a party of 30 in the main dining room with us. Overall way too loud. Maybe okay volume for a bar but not a fine dining restaurant
Wonderful service, very accommodating! And ambiance is on point!
Amazing place to have a nice dinner date
Great as always! We celebrated our one year wedding anniversary
My girlfriend and I went there for our anniversary and we had such an amazing time. Our server Jason was on point with our every need. Well definitely be coming back again
Had a window view from the inside. My wife loved it her first time. Ordered rib-eye steak and it was excellent!
