Goodwood Restaurant at Optus Stadium is open for pre-game dining on select AFL match days.

The à la carte menu curated by Executive Chef Jochen Beranek is packed with bold and delicious flavors, along with the finest Western Australian seasonal produce, in-house dry aged beef and truffle to mark the new season.

The restaurant is conveniently located on Level 1 outside the stadium next to Gate D and boasts stunning river and city views, making it the perfect place to relax before the game starts.

After receiving a confirmation text the day before and responding to confirm our attendance, we arrived to find the venue shut! We had traveled a long way for a special lunch to celebrate a family member’s birthday, only to discover it was closed. Why would they send a confirmation message if they weren’t open? I felt completely defeated and embarrassed, especially as it wasn’t just me affected—it was also disappointing for the birthday guest. This is simply unacceptable - if there was a reason as to why you had to shut, let your customers know, put a sign up on the door or text people!

The rib eye steak was cooked perfectly. The view is amazing and the restaurant overall is a great comfortable setting. Highly recommended!

Awesome location, brilliant food and decent selection of drinks. Food did go cold pretty fast, suggest plating it up quicker, apart from that all good and decent value for the money.

We arrived earlier than our allotted time but the staff were very accommodating and friendly. Very efficient service and our steak was cooked perfectly and served with bread and three different mayonnaise. A wonderful red jus and smooth creamy mashed potatoes. We had no room to try the sweets. Would recommend.

Fabulous food enjoyed before Eagles game and outstanding service - even received a text message that I'd left my sunnies behind! Very friendly staff and highly recommend.

Food was amazing very well presented plenty on plate unfortunately the service was terrible got drink order wrong had a long wait for the bread to come out .. there must have been 12 members of staff but only 2 seemed to be taking orders most were milling around the bar area .. the bill was wrong was charged for a extra drink girl said it was the machine /till that has added 2 instead of 1 !!
