Opson restaurant is the new addition of Andronis Exclusive to the gastronomic map of Santorini offering unique views over the sunset of Oia. Inspired by the Ancient Greek diet, our awarded Chef Stefanos Kolimadis and the renowned PHD culinary archaeologist Jerolyn Morrison (expert in Ancient Greeks’ dietary habits) have created a chronological style cuisine using ingredients that were traditionally produced in the Greek land and seas since the Ancient times. The four degustation menus of Opson are based on the social classes of Ancient Greece, and an a la carte menu is also available for guests with dietary restrictions.

My experience at Opson was honestly one of a kind! Me and my partner both tried the Gods Menu and I can easily say that it was one of the best and most unique meals we have ever had. The view and ambience of the restaurant are magnificent, as one can watch the sunset without any obstructions or noise, and with a small number of tables that achieve a great sense of privacy and a very personalized service. We were greeted with a bouquet of Greek herbs that was a wonderful introduction to our dinner. The courses and the narration that accompany each of them, travelled us back in time and kept us amused for the whole time we were there. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who wishes to experience something unlike anything they may have ever tried!
