    Beautiful views toward LI City even on a rainy evening. Food was better than expected and reasonably priced. Service was good not great due to the way tables and banquettes are configured. We were seated at a 2 seat banquette facing east so our backs were to the center of the room. Not easy to get anyone’s attention facing in the opposite direction but you are there for the view so I’m not complaining. Overall a great time and highly recommend, especially for first time visitors to NYC.

    We had the best girls' dinner here. The views of the city were unmatched, The service was great, food was nice. We did a few small plates to share and had a great time overall! If you are visiting and want a place with that "wow" factor, I would highly recommend it!

    The bar is over-rated. Ok food options. Drinks are expensive and the vine list is very short. Inadequate service with poorly trained staff that forgets whats been ordered, interupt when cleaning up, totally dysfunctional. In addition, the space is poorly maintained, very small and not clean. The view is the only thing they have going for it but not enought to win a second visit.

    It was the Top of the Beekman for the prior generation. Dad took me there. Big city views are lovely. Light far and drinks. Not as well known as trendier places, which is good.

    Great views, nice atmosphere, nice wine, nice food. The service was not up to the offer, in terms of staff not being very welcoming, friendly and client oriented. Also very limited place for long legs, we were being asked to stick closer to the table, at 6h45 pm, when much of the room was empty. the table next to us was empty until 8, so it was really awkward to be asked to squeeze in. One waitress emptied a bottle of white wine into one of the glasses that has another type of wine. Turned out fine actually, but a big no no otherwise...

    I was very excited to visit this NYC "hotspot" last Friday night after seeing an IG reel. The space is much, much smaller than depicted. We left our hotel with 30 min to get there when we only needed 15 min, but a protest was going on and we could not get an Uber/Lyft or even a yellow cab that would take us there. I called Ophelia and explained the situation, that we were doing all we could to get there within the 15 min grace period and asked if she could please hold the table or give us the next one if we didn't get there in time. The young lady then said that if we didn't make it by 8:15pm we had no reservation and couldn't guarantee seating, was cold as ice saying it and sounded annoyed when I explained the situation. We thankfully found a cab that got us up there via 6th Ave, so we only needed to walk a block. We got there just in time to not lose our table. If we would not have been able to get there in time, we would have paid $25 a person, (which you need to leave your cc number for when you book the reservation, 4 of us). There were alot of people with no reservation waiting for a table so they would not be losing money. We get there, get seated in what was a round table for 2. So tight, it was very uncomfortable. Our server was awesome, super sweet and professional, really liked her attention to detail. But about 20 minutes before our 2 hours were up, yes they basically kick you out at 2 hours, she let us know this was the final call for the table even though we had just finished our food and were hoping to still order more drinks. The food was good, drinks were good but this place really needs to work on how it is run. Will not return on my next trips to the city, nor recommend it.

    Omg thank youuuu Ophelia Lounge for accommodating my birthday celebration last night as I know we had a slightly larger party than planned. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the space, food, music, service- JANET WAS WONDERFUL! We will definitely be back!! My birthday celebration was just perfect - thank you!

    Me and my friend loved it. We had a very nice view, all around our table and we were close to the tarrace so it was easy to get some nice pics☺️ The cocktails were delicious, and the service was fast and professional. The people sitting around were also friendly and nice. I would definitly go back and recomend it.

    I only got the truffle fries but it was just potatoes barely tasted the truffle or Parmesan. drinks were tasty but overpriced and not strong. You’re pretty much paying for the view

    Very disappointed. We were cramped in a corner with the promise of great views but with seats facing away from said views. 3 out of 5 of the group did not like the cocktails they were given. As we entered the building the host told us we would “love it”…however unfortunately this was not the case. Would not return.

    We were a party of six including a 10 and 13 year old girls. The table was booked for 7 pm we were prompt. On checking in we were told our table was still occupied by the previous party and we were told to return in 20 minutes. This spoilt the anticipated last evening in New York. We could not stand around in the bar because of the girls, but the occupants of our table should have been asked to move to the bar. Although the setting is amazing our evening was spoilt.

    Pros: food was tasty. We tried the sliders, spinach artichoke dip, mushroom ravioli and truffle fries. The truffle fries are more like roasted potatoes as opposed to French fries. The DJ was very good and played lounge beats at a good level making for a cool vibe. The bar area was pretty. Cons: We were 7 people and we were seated in a small cove/cubby that was warm and not inviting. Service was poor. They forgot drinks, seemed discombobulated, were not knowledgeable of their alcohol products and at the end, our waitress didn’t seem to know that the 18% gratuity was added to the bill automatically because she asked why we had only left her $9 (it was $9 over the 18% gratuity). They had me taste a Cabernet only to tell me they ran out when I ordered it, and did not have any other Cabernets.

    Made a reservation specifically asking for one of the tables at the window, we did get that table but basically had to sit on super tiny stools. That was frustrating because the other tables near us had actual chairs and we are tall people!!! For the prices of the drinks we paid i would expect a legitimate chair at least. Also the music was WAY too loud and why are u playing the macarena….that does not match the vibe or marketing AT ALL. The music honestly ruined the experience for us, how are you going to have this elegant themed expensive roof top bar and have a dj playing frat party music at full volume. Besides that, the service, drinks, and view were great.

    Ophelia was an unforgettable experience. Ain't I glad reservations were made as it was FULL when we came up the elevator. The evening started at the bar, where we toasted to a girls weekend trip. Eventually we were seated at our table and were given a prime corner couch, which allowed us to sit back and have wonderful conversations. The server and runner were attentive with keeping our waters filled and getting all our food out in a proper time. We ordered pretty much the entire menu, excluding a couple items and were blown away with how delicious everything was. Not a single item on the menu disappointed us. The tuna poke dish accidentally fell on the ground and the staff gladly replaced it. We spent hours here, making memories and having conversation, despite how busy, full and to a degree loud it was. The views are exceptional and the entire evening was memorable. Time flew and I truly having nothing less than amazing things to say about Ophelia. Looking forward to returning here and enjoying their afternoon tea on another visit.

    I think this place is overrated. If you take a good look at everything, you eill see everyting is old and or broken and not maintained. It looks so good and superfancy on insta but in real life a huge disapointment. Stains and worn out old couches, filty floors and during lunch/brunch too loud pop music. They don't have special coffee, which is weird. So no cappucino or latté. If you order tea you get it in a way too small coffee cup. Wafles I think not freshly made and the breakfast croissant with egg, cheddar and crispy prosciuto was probably the best I can mention about this whole episode.
