Soooo pretty and probably one of the most delicious brunches I’ve had in LA! Staff was also super nice and the location was so interesting with all the interior design and architecture. Highly recommend!
Loved the food, everything was amazing from the butter lettuce salad to the steak! Only issue was how cold it was since our table was more off to the side and not underneath the tent, almost became like a wind tunnel at one point. Other than that, overall experience was great!
Waitress was top notch. Attentive to our needs as well as menu knowledge. Will definitely go here again. Great experience
Food is amazing. Drinks are expensive. Service is excellent. The view is also pretty nice.
Such a beautiful restaurant! The service was impeccable and the food was great. We lived it so much for dinner we went back for brunch!
The food is terrible and overpriced. I ordered the steak and eggs ($28 for this plate - I was chewing on the steak forever) The money spent for the value received isn’t worth it. No real “view”. I ordered a margarita and I’m not sure if they even put alcohol in it. The host and waiter were nice, but that’s about it. We will not be returning.
The food was flavorful and rich. The ambience was nice and bottomless mimosas in the morning is always a good idea. French toast is very good and very sweet. Hibachi Steak and eggs is my favorite though.
We had the worst experience that I have ever had in a restaurant at Openaire tonight. Our reservation was at 7:15 and we were sat down at 7:50 because they did not have a table for us.
None of their heaters worked, so we were freezing the entire meal. The quantity of their food was tiny for the expensive prices, and finally the service was awful. I saw our waiter once, and they put all the food to the center of the table, disregarding who ordered what.
It was so overpriced for the quality and QUANTITY of the food...the menu was also pretty small and didn’t have many options.
DO NOT GO HERE.
The food and the place are stunning but you can only stay 1 hour and half.
They literally kicked us out while we were still drinking...
Everything perfect from the food to the service. I was a little unclear as to why the bill automatically gets charged a tourist fee and a Covid-19 fee. I get the Covid-19, get your money where you can I guess. But the tourist fee? I am a LA native and live only a few miles from the restaurant.
We had a great brunch at Openaire! The ambiance, food and service was great! The entire staff was amazing!
The crab egg Benedict’s were to die for!
Lovely evening. Almost felt normal in these Covid times! The staff we’re working fertile and attentive. Food was excellent and the ambiance was lovely.
Wonderful experience. Everyone was extremely attentive and the food and drinks were amazing
Great experience and our host Ashley was really nice to us.
Lovely ambiance, food was good! Really enjoyed everything we had there.
Yummy food 😋 pretty plating 😍 mouthwatering mashed potatoes side 🤤 exceptional service ♥️
Outdoor dining open once again so we decided to go here as it’s close to home. The food was delicious especially the rolls and kale salad to start. For main courses we had the wagyu steak and fish. Chocolate cake for dessert was pretty good. The panna cotta was terrible! Do not order it. Absolutely no flavor and rubbery and tiny portion for $14!
Overall very good although quite expensive. Are restaurants jacking up their prices to make up for lost time and profit?
The experience was amazing
But the food OMG!!!!!!
The food was out of this world
I could taste all the flavors in one bite
My Wife and I had a wonderful night at Openaire - everything was up to Covid-19 standards, the food was excellent, and the wait staff was attentive even though we could tell it was very busy this past Valentine's Day night. Thank you to all the staff of Openaire for making it a special experience for us!
The food was fantastic. The service was terrible. We spent 45 minutes waiting to be seated and then rather than roll-calling attendees based on reservation # or alphabetical order, the host chose to make no announcement and required guests to ask directly for a table. This didn't make any sense and some guests weren't seated for nearly 75 minutes. On top of that, some guests were seated in a side area with a lot of wind and a terrible view of a concrete wall. To add insult to injury, there were not enough portable heaters and wait staff started handing out towels. Not nice ones, like rough used bath towels... Once again, the food was great. Whoever the chef was, they should go work at a nice restaurant and not some pop-up ragtag assembly like this... Oh, and the vegetarian entree option was "silk tofu". I don't think it's worth $250 for a night like this where they serve silk tofu. I asked for fish and luckily they had that available. \
There was a severe delay in seating everyone for Valentine’s Day. I’ve never seen a restaurant be more disorganized. No one even addressed the guests to tell us why there was such a delay.
Waited for a hour even when I already booked, host wasn’t helpful and fair she just let people in randomly (especially after they complaint with her, she let them in right away without even notice other people who had been patiently waited since the very beginning). Menu wasn’t worth the price.
Couldn't have asked for a better Valentine's date venue. The service was the best I've had in a very long time and the food was outstanding.
Charming ambience, great food, lovely service. I highly recommend the cinnamon roll- it’s gigantic, fresh, and just the right amount of sweetness. Pin up cocktail was delicious.
I arrived 15min late but there’s a 30min grace period between reservation times so my date and I should have been seated but we had to wait about an hour for the waiter to try and find us a seat. She then said there were no available seats so we would be waiting longer. She didn’t know why our reservation got cancelled by the restaurant but she apologized and offered two free drinks before we left. Overall it wasn’t very organized otherwise we would have been seated but given the day was expected to be very busy and the fact that we arrived 15min late, I didn’t expect much as far as getting seated on time. My date and I ended up leaving without the experience of the food or being seated.
Good overall although pricey for extended experience.
We were celebrating Valentine’s Day. The service was slow, unprofessional and lacked any sort of direction. After being seated we were approached after 18 minutes to see if we wanted to order any drinks, this was after the host sat us down and said we have 90 minutes to dine before our table will be needed to fulfill another reservation. The waiter was uninterested and extremely distracted. Another server came by and used our table as a tray while he placed cups on another table. The whole experience was really bad and I would advise senior management to take a good look at the staff and their experience levels when trying to charge customers $280+ for a meal.
Went for a Valentines Day dinner and dined from the prefix menu. Food was flavored well and a good portion size, and all of the staff was amazing and went above and beyond! Will definitely be visiting again!
Ive worked in the service industry for close to 9 years, so it paints me to leave this review. Upon arriving and checking in, It took about 15 minutes to be sat ( we had made an early reservation for 6:15 the week prior). We were taken to the side of the building, away from the charming atmosphere and everyone else, to a cold breezeway tucked away by the back corner of the establishment. We were then sat, and told to enjoy our" hour and a half" reservation, as the host made a point to make direct eye contact with my boyfriend and I when mentioning our time limit. It was off-putting. No one wants to be made to feel rushed when they sit down for Valentines Dinner. Our table was far away from everyone else, in a breezeway without music or a heater. It then took another 10 minutes to be greeted by a server ( I was checking the time, because of the previous mentioning of our time constraint). After being served water, we very politely requested an outdoor heater, like every other guest was enjoying at the time. We had spotted one off in the corner that wasn't being used, but were told there wasn't one. I gave the establishment the benefit of the doubt, and thought the one not being used may be broken or out of propane. I then proceeded to ask that we be sat somewhere else, so the server said he would notify the host and see what they could do. In the meantime, we tried to get our order put together, again conscious of our approaching time limit. The server never returned to our table with an update, so I took the initiative to speak directly to the host and asked * very kindly*to be seated. It then became clear to my boyfriend and I that at least FOUR other parties had been sat after us, in a cozy spot with a heater, out of the wind. They were already served cocktails. Other two-tops, just like us. We waited another five minutes at the host stand, hiding from the wind before we realized we were being left unattended. We walked out, hungry and upset. We wont be returning.
Loved everything about this experience
The foods for Valentine’s day menu was terrible only the second course and the last dessert were good. The 3rd course the presentation was not god at all, no sauce and the taste was not that great. We are sitting outdoors and yet they ran out of propane for the outdoor heater. The only best thing about this experienced was the waiter for my table was excellent.
Beautiful location. Service was great. Food was very good. Will come back.
Experience was great. The Crabs Benedict was delicious. The staff was welcoming and attentive. Nice brunch spot.
Great place to eat
The host server and busser were extremely friendly and attentive. Food was delicious, although my sides came much later than my entree. Ambiance was great and the rum drink was delicious with a lil kick.
Terrible customer service. Never coming here again. Joke of an establishment
Great service and great food. Felt good to be able to dine out again and the restaurant definitely made the effort to make us feel safe by keeping everyone apart and not over crowding
Our waitress was fantastic. We loved the question about “any allergies that we need to be aware of”. Very accommodating.
French toast was INCREDIBLE! Get it to split for the table, you won't regret it.
