Pan Seared Mahi Mahi
Filet of Mahi Mahi pan seared in a zesty lemon butter sauce, atop a bed of garlic mashed potatoes, green beans, baby carrots and cherry tomatoes
Everything was perfect. Our waiter was awesome and all the servers were so kind. Super fun and the food was amazing as always.
Average place, could do better with a dress code policy of no Pjs.... :)
Bartender was super nice guy, but we realize something was not quite right when he added 7-Up to our old-fashioneds.
Food was meh.
Compliments to all servers/hosts, though, as all were quite good
The food and service are always top notch. Opa fries are like no other!!
It was just okay. The service was very slow. I was hoping for a better bunch menu. There was no option to simply choose bacon and eggs.
Opa had everything ready for my party of 9 upon arrival. The food was fantastic. Definitely recommend!!
Delicious food, friendly service!! The outdoor dining area was perfect - I truly hope they keep this option once Covid passes. Sitting outside feels like vacation :)
We usually love Opa, but the food on our visit was not to the usual standard. The Opa! Fries were overdone and brown, with the gyro meat cut into large wedges and slices which were also hard. The Opa! Nachos had a good flavor and toppings, but the chips were overdone and brown. My mom had to eat just the toppings and no chips.
Was OK, rather expensive for what one receives. Service was good, feels like not fully staffed yet.
Love going here. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for great Mediterranean style dining.
Good greek food, great location, slightly noisy atmosphere. Overall a good spot.
Waited an hour after our reservation time to be seated. Waiter was awesome once we were seated, but up until then it was a struggle, even after a table cam available it was another 15 before anyone cleared it for us to be able to sit down.
We love Opa! and will go back. But this time we were a little disappointed in two dishes because of the sizzling plates. The Saganaki (a must-have for me every time) skillet was so sizzling that the cheese got burned on the bottom; and the flank steak plate was so hot the surface of the meat was crisped and hard to chew. In both cases, I think the plate was so hot that the food kept on cooking. Next time we will ask for plates to transfer the food onto. Love the shrimp saganaki, sliders, Greek meatloaf, and everything we've ever had there.
After being seated, it was over 20 minutes before somebody came to take our order for drinks and food.
The food was good overall, but the service was incredibly slow. We made a reservation although they were not very busy. From being seated at 6:45 and leaving after 8 pm, not because we took our time, but because they did. Simple things like not getting utensils. The drinks were bad, but the food was good once we finally got it.
We love the food and ambience!
Disappointing dinner date night. Frito Misto appetizer was full of of sad looking breaded onions, green beans, and some limp calamari. Didn't see any prawns. We ordered Opa! Sauté beef souvlaki skewer. Meh, texture was chewy instead of tender (ordered medium rare). Lemon Chicken Orzo- marinated chicken breast pieces were dried. I ended up using some of the Opa! Sauté sauce to dunk my chicken pieces to eat with the drowned out orzo. Expected orzo, not oatmeal!
Excellent service! Other than that, subpar Mediterranean date night out.
Food very tasty and above average. Nice outdoor tables.
The food was excellent. The service was horrible. Sitting outside we asked 3 ppl to turn on the heat lamp, they all said they would get someone. Finally the manager came out and started raising his voice to tell us they were out of propane and will not be able to. That would have been fine, but definitely info that none of the other staff members had. Food also took over an hour and there was only 4 tables at the time. Will go to Opa again, just never this location.
Slow service, wasn’t prepared for the day. We sat for 30 mins with no attention when they first opened waiting for them to get the restaurant open.
Outside on the patio. Good distanced tables. Very comfortable. Was a delightful lunch.
My husband and I took our granddaughters to Opa! in Willow Glen. The service was outstanding and the food delicious.
We would definitely plan to come back.
Server Uriel was top notch, attentive without hovering.
Our waiter was great! Very helpful and personable. Eating outside was pleasant. I will go back again!
Service was great! Everything was good!
Service could have been more attentive. Don't want to say more than that maybe it was an off day.
We got to eat inside after a year of Covid, so that was good. Restaurant is still trying to figure out the details of 25% capacity, but they are accommodating and pleasant. Per Country orders, they must leave the doors open for ventilation, so be sure to dress warmly as it is the same temperature inside as it is outside. Food and service was excellent!
It was horrible. The promised a heater they didn’t bring. They offered veggies or fries. We picked veggies. They neglected to tell us that veggies cost $8 extra on a $20 plate. There were only 5 pieces of gyro meat on a gyro platter with stale pita chips. We have been to many Opa restaurants. This was absolutely horrible experience.
Wait staff was slow. Waited 20 minutes to get our mimosas. Then had to get a quick refill before brunch was over and order our food...
everything was great. love to go back like always.
Food was wonderful, service was a bit slow, and order was (slightly) wrong. Surprised they didn't have coffee.
Anthony is amazing
Nice patio dining at this location. Perfect for a sunny day!
Very nice people. Food was great!
Great service and yummy food! The meatloaf was amazing!
We had a reservation at 7:00 pm and we were on time and they moved us to the table at 8:10 pm. They have to organize and wait too long. The chicken gyro too hard hard to eat. We understand that we are in a difficult situation but we had a reservation we planned our hour.
Enjoyed celebrating my husband’s birthday! Outside dining was great. Overhead heaters keep everyone warm on a cold night!
