Steak and Short Rib were overcooked, Pizza was soggy, Pasta bland and Lamb Shank was a little dry.
Our server Sophia was great and so were the specialty cocktails.

While my dish was good,my husbands was around $20 and very small. These entrees do not include anything like a side, salad, there's no bread for the table. Also, the appetizer was NOT good! The desert menu was very small and just basically gelato. The restaurant is beautiful, inside a beautiful hotel and our waiter was great, so I would recommend at least trying it. However, be prepared to fork over the money and not get a lot in return.

First, Jasmine, our waitress was outstanding.
My steak was overcooked from what ordered but still very good.
Wife has food allergies so she ordered a gluten free pasta. It sucked. She still had a slight reaction. The restaurant took it away and made a substitute for her. We've been there twice before and the gluten free was great. Maybe just a bad day this time.

The entire experience from being greeted like we were old friends at the door, to incredible service, amazing food, and even a bathroom escort just blew us out of the water!

Stumbled upon OP while stopping in Indy for the night and could not have been more pleased. Each of us really enjoyed our meal and service was fantastic (Thanks, Gabby!). Will find an excuse to enjoy a meal here again ASAP.

For starters, the mushroom was very good. However, the meatball was on the ok side: it was too salty to eat without the side bread. The blackberry cocktail was outstanding and would be my recommendation. The pastas were ok. Their sauces were fine but the pastas themselves were either undercooked or overcooked. This restaurant could serve better quality pastas based on its price point.

My wife and I went here for our anniversary over the weekend. I'm glad we chose to eat here. It wasn't too busy, and the food/service was great. I would definitely eat here again when I'm in town. The menu could be bigger, but everything that was on it looked good to me, so plenty for me to choose from.

Wanted to try something new before a downtown show. Food outstanding - the lamb shank earned its award at Zoobilation! Atmosphere fun. Complimentary valet a nice amenity although we did not use it. Main complaint was with service... There is a line between being friendly and attentive and allowing people space to be engaged in a private conversation that has not been mastered by our server. I do not think we went 5 minutes without an enthusiastic and disruptive “How is everything?” “Can I get you another drink?” (Even though cocktail still half full.) and 75% of the time it was while my husband and I were mid sentence. It is possible to replenish water glasses and clear dishes in a low key and invisible manner if the situation calls for that. We were on a rare date night where we were hoping to have an equally rare uninterrupted conversation... At the end it was almost comical. Lots to like and I am not opposed to trying again but unlikely soon.

Convenient location near the center of Indianapolis. Food was good.....the daily special *lamb stew) was very tastee. We were surprised no bread was available as part of our meals.

As expected, since the restaurant is part of Mariott the food was a little pricey.

It wasn’t bad, it was just eminently forgettable. There’s no way to eat in a hotel restaurant, even a hotel like this one, without being constantly reminded you’re in a hotel restaurant.

Our dining experience was great from appetizers and cocktails, to entree and wine, and then on to coffee and dessert. We were lucky to have Shasta as a server. She was wonderful! Attentive service and able to recomend great drinks and dishes.

One of the best meals I have had in a long time! We started with the carpaccio followed by the braised lamb shank which was fall off the bone tender and so flavorful, we also had the short rib gnocchi, oh my gosh was it delicious... I’ll be back when we visit Indy next!

This wouldn’t be my go-to restaurant in Indianapolis. In the JW Marriott Hotel and the restaurant is an open area on the first floor of the hotel. The restaurant service was excellent; great staff! The atmosphere was open and kind of felt I was eating in the lobby. The venue is Italian and a few choices in that food, but nothing notable and our dinners were just OK, not amazing at all. But the prices weren’t $$$ either.

Our 1st time at OP and I'm so glad we gave it a try! My husband and I shared the Sausage & Peppers Pizza and the bolognese. Absolutely wonderful!! The food was hot and so incredibly flavorful. Our waiter Josh was very attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Indy!

Mother’s Day Brunch..$60/pp...very disappointed!! For that price a Mimosa or Bloody Mary should have been included but you still wanted to charge $13.00 per glass? The area where the fresh fruit was served was filthy, there were no fresh rolls, the pasta was tasty but cold, no dressing for the salad(s), again less than impressed with this place. Kudos to the media marketing people because they made it look good...you just couldn’t back it up. Sorry!

Wonderful Mother's Day 2019 Brunch. Relaxing and lovely setting. Excellent service and wait staff. Enjoyed appetizers (Oysters -Butter grilled spinach and Parmesan) , chopped salad and Crab Omelet with Asparagus and Bacon Steak. Sugar Bear (Mother’s Day Cocktail) and delicious sticky toffee pudding and cheese cake for dessert. Wonderful wonderful wonderful.

First visit since rebranding/ reopening. Seems to be a little more casual of an atmosphere than previous establishment. Wood fired oven now a feature with pizzas available. Standard Italian fare, but done well.

The food was excellent. The cocktails were unique and tasted great. The only issue was parking. Parking should be fully covered for restaurant guests.

YvetteS, I'm sorry about the parking issues. Parking is free for up to an hour and a half and then should have been $10 up to three hours. I will look into seeing what we can do because we do want you to enjoy your dining experience and not have to worry about watching the clock. Food was good. Service was pretty good. It was Saturday night so the place was busy. We were seated at a high-top table, and the chairs were a little less comfortable. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful.

Dinner was great, but dessert was garbage! My boyfriend took a bite of his gelato and pulled out a long, giant piece of paper that was just sitting in the cup. So gross.

Seated 25 minutes late, arrived 10 minutes early. Before dinner drinks served after appetizers. Main course served before we had opportunity to finish appetizers. Food very poor quality and poor presentation. Tasted old and pre-made. Doughy and starchy pasta. This is the reason hotel restaurants have such a bad reputation.
Bill was presented and charged to credit card, but not my bill, bill was for another table. The assistant manager had to credit and reprocess the charge. Half hearted apology no offer of remediation. Marriott should be ashamed to allow this poor level of service in their flagship hotel in Indianapolis.

We had the most wonderful waiter Zach! He knew we had to get out in a timely manner to get race packets was attentive and thoughtful. I ordered the gnocchi and it was delicious! Decent wine list by the glass. I'd definitely go again

The steak is amazing, highly recommended. The service is great, everyone is friendly including the chef. Great dessert 🍨. Lemon 🍋 tart was very good, the chocolate cake was also a good choice.

crunchy calamari - best I've ever had with delicious salad. meatballs - wonderful but maybe a little heavy on the garlic. salmon and sides - outstanding. children's cheese pizza - delicious. tagliatelle - only disappointment - bland. lemon sorbet and chocolate gelato = superb. Tuscan wine blend - lovely.

I don't understand with the superior food from each of the chefs since OP's opening, why the food critics have not given such a gem of a restaurant with always fresh, fresh dishes any attention.

Our waitress Taylor was delightful. The service however was very slow. I ‘m not sure if there wasn’t enough staff or the kitchen was behind but it took a really long time to move through the process. Taylor kept herself cheery and was very accommodating. Your check in staff provided complimentary appetizers since we waited awhile to be seated.
So you did the best you could with a not so great situation.
