The place should close down for a week and just clean everything. The whole please is kinda gross covered in grease and dust. The bathrooms (easiest part of the restaurant to clean and maintain) are a certified FEMA disaster zone!

Party of 7 celebrating a birthday dinner at 5 pm , reservation was made in advance but was set up with 1 stove with tight sitting for 7. Requested two stove spaces and was told not available. Asked to sit at booth side by side and was sitted with aisle in between so party was split into 2. Very disappointed. Management needs training. One of booth gas stove was broken and leaking gas. No one came and apologized but just simply moved everyone to a table with 2 stoves after 1.15 hour into dinner. Not suitable for larger parties.

Food is good. Service is attentive. Space wise, we have 6 people crowding around a rectangular table that does not provide sufficient table top area for tableware, dishes, plates and condiments for 6. It was very noisy also….

Absolutely love this place. Definitely come here if you want the quality meats. Vibes are great, staff is great. There’s a little island to serve yourself some side dishes (not all) like kimchi, rice, chilis & oils, etc.. or of course ask a server for the sides and they can bring them along as well. As someone who is an avid food with a large appetite self serve stations are quite the luxury! Beyond all, all staff will greet you with a smile, helping hand and great food!

We somewhat enjoy dining at oo kook. Overall the place needs refreshing. What bothers me the most is the place having very little ventilation. There’s always smoke inside. Every time we come home we have to change clothes.

This my second time to Oo Kook. We all have a great experience for celebrating my friend’s birthday. Friendly staff and good quality of food. Highly recommend pork belly, short rib, fillet mignon, New York steak and beef tongue. Also, the beef stew and japchae at the cafeteria is amazing.

Love this place. Have been a few times. They keep it simple, fast, and delicious. One all-you-can-eat option, short drink list, good banchan and japchae. The servers are attentive and keep things moving quickly. We'll definitely be back again.

Rude server has no respect for customer. So disappointed for experience such a poor service from a nice bbq place. She was just responsible for checking however she refused to seat us to a proper table for large party. We had reservations for big table while she still want to save the big table for someone else who doesn’t show! There were many empty table in restaurant and she keep pushing us to seat separately! What a jerk! She act like she own the place, and interrupted my conversation with the manager. She seems like have more right to do thing than the manager. She doesn’t even let me finish talking. Very rude and disrespectful. We left for terrible services. She also said, “yes you can write it in yelp.” Seems like she doesn’t care about the reputation of this restaurant.
