   The Staff was attentive and engaging. The perfect place for anyone on a date or Family outing . Food was Great from the Appetizers , Entrees and Dessert. All made to perfection. Go and enjoy a Great experience.

   Great birthday dinner. Everything was done to perfection. Staff was attentive and thoughtful. Owner came out to chat and we had a lovely evening. Highly recommend .

   The food is excellent and the vibe is lively. However the service was brusque and nearly rude. Waiters reaching right across your face to grab or place your plates. At this caliber the staff should be much more polite.

   We've been to One Rare at least 8 times and had a positive experience in all but two of the times. Our most recent experience was very disappointing. What makes One Rare special is not only the food. I expect excellent service when I go to One Rare and that was lacking. The waiter started off friendly, seemed very experienced. But things went downhill from there. 1) Not very attentive after taking our orders. 2) Very long wait for the food. 3) When I pay almost $20 for a salad, I expect service. At least offer me fresh pepper. That didn't happen. 4) My friend's steak was too rare for his liking. When he asked the waiter to have it cooked more, he got attitude in return. Rule number one: the customer is always right. Our next special event won't be celebrated at One Rare. It's sad, because we had some great experiences there. I hope you do something to improve the service.

   Horrific experience at this restaurant. The service was horrendous, the tables are so close together i couldn’t get my pregnant belly around them, and the creamed spinach tasted like crap. They forgot our sauces and we had to ask 3x for it and by the time it came out we were done with our steaks. Nothing was done to make it right. The steak and fries were good but everything else was an F.

   We love this restaurant! Food is superior, service very good, and atmosphere lovely! It was a great birthday celebration!

   We love steak houses. We would travel 30-40 minute each way for the right steak house. One Rare was worth the trip but not a second try. Service was rushed. Drinks were very well prepared. The porterhouse for two was overcooked. And that’s a fatal flaw at a high end steak house. I did have an exceptional glass of a red blend. Sides were so so There’s just two many exceptional steak houses in the County. I guess the moral of the story is to stick with what you know.

   Overall, a good steakhouse. Steaks were cook as requested. Sides, apps, and wine were all good as expected. Service could’ve been a little better as we were never asked if we wanted another glass of wine and continually had to ask for more water. This may also be a result of staff bias since we’re only 30 because it was not busy enough that staff couldn’t attend to us. I would go back but no desire to rush back.

    This has become our go-to steakhouse in lower Westchester. Food is uniformly good and service is attentive without being intrusive. One of the few places that offers a complete menu including fish and pasta choices. One of the most beautiful shrimp cocktails you could ever see. Very fine French onion soup. Sirloins are bone-in, perfectly cooked, as are the porterhouse for 2 and 3. Don’t usually care for creamed spinach but ate it here and enjoyed it. And onion rings are not beer batter for a satisfying change. Look forward to returning soon and often.
