                                                                                                          We went for an early Father's Day lunch around 3p before the rush. The staff was super warm and welcoming! Our two girls had a great time dining in a "fancy" place. The serving size of the off-menu chicken tenders and fries was more than enough for them to share. The porterhouse for two was cooked perfectly and the mash potatoes were the star of the show. The price was a little on the higher end so may save my next visit for a special occasion.

                                                                                                          Its a very nice place. But the prices for the steaks were ridiculous. It wasn’t like we were going to Peter Luger’s in Brooklyn, but it was a nice place to try.

For 4 people in addition to a couple of starters, we shared the Porterhouse for 2 and a Bone-in Ribeye. Perfectly cooked (med rare), tender and delicious. We actually left with a bit of leftovers. Wine selection was very good as well. Enjoyed a nice 2018 Amarone. Service was professional and skillful. My only criticism to what was a near perfect dinner is that the oysters (both East and West coast) were a bit bland. I highly recommend One Rare and will definitely go back. One final note - menu had a broad selection of choices for non-steak eaters.

                                                                                                          We arrived a few minutes early for our 7:15 reservation and waited 30 minutes (along with lots of other people) before we were seated. Not one person - and we interacted with many - apologized for the delay. For a restaurant at this price point, that is inexcusable. When we were seated, it too longer than it should have for the waitstaff to take our drink order. We had to ask a bus boy for menus - now we’re 45 minutes past our reservation -and he seemed put out by our request. When spending $150 per person on a meal, I’d hope that the service and management would be more gracious. We will hesitate before returning.
