Fantastic service and very imaginative menu. Specials were excellent and they went out of there way to make it a special night.
Every person that we came upon treated us like we were the most important person in the room. Service was top notch. One of the best experiences dining out. Great menu and food was delicious . Definitely going back
Great food, atmosphere and staff!!
Everything was super tasty and the service was impeccable. Would def recommend and will be visiting again!
It was a wonderful experience overall. Food was amazing and the service was top notch
Beautiful room, attentive waitstaff, tasty and beautiful presentation of all the food with generous portions to enjoy the next day as well. We loved the Share menu and it was a wonderful value.
We had dinner at One North to celebrate our anniversary. The food was excellent. The venue and ambiance were superb. The service was a little spotty. We had 2 waiters. One seemed tired and they weren't on the same page with what we ordered. Some items arrived late. We had to remind them twice that items were missing. But they did apologize and made things right. We would definitely go there again and recommend it to others.
We went to one north expecting to be blown away. The place and service were amazing. Now the food on the other hand, granted we were there on a Sunday, the food was not what we expect from the People who have so many other great restaurants. Veal chop was over cooked , mako was dry. Mozzarella app was just ok.
We will give it another shot in the future and up date our review, but for now meh.....
We have eaten at One North approximately 4 times, and this particular time, service was very spotty.
Very nice dinner and evening. Meal, service and ambiance all top notch.
Waited for water for about 20 mins. Had to flag down two different people before we even got water. Our main waitress was very knowledgeable and good but her partner was terrible. I have a gluten intolerance and asked if something was GF and he never came back to tell me. When I asked how the salmon was his response was “all our fish is good”. I ordered the salmon and it was by far the worst salmon I have ever had!!! My husband said his steak was good. This place seems like a good scene to meet people and go dancing but not for the food!
Excellent from start to finish!
I’m going to be charitable and say they must have had an off night. We arrived early on a Sunday night for a 7PM reservation. The restaurant was fairly empty. Lots of people introduced themselves, but did nothing. It was a good 45 minutes until someone took our drink order...after we had to call someone over. It was another 20 minutes until we got someone to bring the drinks. There were lots of people who asked how things were, and filled our water glasses...but no food...not even the breadbasket after an hour. 3of the 4 entrees came. Two were delicious(as were all of the appetizers and sides), but the medium done lamb chops didn’t come. When they finally came, they were medium rare and had to be cooked more. One of the fish dishes was over cooked and sent back. The management was very accommodating and did the right thing by us. They will have to work on their service if they expect to compete on the (cut throat) North Shore.
Food was incredible. Tuna tower appetizer and black spaghetti with seafood knocked it out of the park! Got special attention from manager Paul and server Cristin F - dessert tray showed up at the end compliments of manager..... I guess a benefit of being a frequent customer....
Celebrated my mother in law's 75th Birthday, great service, amazing food and cocktails. Really enjoyed the ambiance and Hamptons feel. Our family considers ourselves fish snobs and ordered all of the fish entrees on the menu, and loved each and every dish! We would highly recommend for large groups (we were a group of 9) and was provided with a large round table, which was ideal for everyone to enjoy the evening.
One north is a joke. Food is average at best and this is the third time I’ve tried it. Since everyone raves about it I had to give it three shots and it’s done. It’s worth a drink at the bar to observe cheesy long islanders in their mating rituals but that’s it. Don’t waste your money on food, it sucks. Building is beautiful but a bit ostentatious
I was disappointed in One North. It is very trendy, but extremely loud, no matter where you sit in the restaurant. There is certainly an active bar scene, but that isn't what I came there for. We were put at a table for two, along a bench that had too many tables on it. There was about 9 inches between tables, and these also didn't get any tablecloths like the rest of the free-standing tables had. I felt packed in like cattle, and for those prices, I think it was an injustice. Simply taking away one or two of the tables and spreading them out would have been an improvement. The wait staff even had difficulty serving because they couldn't get in between the tables. All the smokers gather at the front of the restaurant, so we waited for our valet parked car in a cloud of smoke, which was a really distasteful way to end our visit. No problems at all with the food or service. There is nothing intimate about this place, and we could barely hear each other to talk. I wouldn't go back.
First class restaurant we have a phenomenal menu and ambience that is unsurpassed. Great waitstaff and not only their foods that are local but also seafood and steaks sourced around the world. Yes it’s a little expensive but it’s a feast you won’t soon forget.
food was good dover sole tasteless but appetizers of eggplant chips ans saganiki were good
service was over the top two waiters must have stopped by our table ten times to ask if everything was ok it was annoying after a while
for the amt of food we had the bill was high and the food quality doesnt match the prices
also friend's crab cake came out cold
What a pleasant surprise to both my eyes and palate. When the taste and flavor meet and are both sophisticated and discriminating the next delicious plate. This will be my go to spot for many occasions from business, family to date dinners with my husband. I absolutely loved it . The decor was impeccable!
I had heard things were getting better at the restaurant but my friends and I had a terrible experience!! We had an 8:30pm reservation and didn't get served dinner till about 10:30 and didn't walk out till about midnight. The service started slow and just kept getting worse. The food was so bad I had to send my main dish back and my girlfriend was told as they were finally serving our meal that they count accommodate her request for plain risotto after being told when she ordered that it wasn't a problem. That the seafood was all mixed together. So she finally just ordered a salad because it was so late. The plates were bare, very little portion size and nothing extra to them. Definitely not worth the prices. We had a terrible experience all around
The reasoning behind my low star rating is because We just had experienced a very bad Saturday night dinner. We had dined on a Saturday night the month before and the restaurant was exceptional in every way. Staff was very personable and attentive. The food was its best in taste and presentation and management was clearly up to par. So we booked again for my birthday, excited to have another great dinning experience and it turned out to be the worst. Firstly it took 15 minutes at table to get wine to the table. 15 minutes later we had to ask for a bread basket. so we sat there at table with no food for 40 minutes. the bread basket came when our appetizers came out. As for diner my friend always, always orders her lamp chops well. They came rare and had to go back. So we sat and waited with our meals getting cold. The second glass of wine was another long wait. My husband ordered the veal chop and he should of cut into it earlier so we could of sent it back with the lamb. it was slightly seared on both sides. Literally raw inside like the fat was gelatin. that could really make one sick. So a three hour dinner that felt like five. This night was definitely a struggle at One North. We love the location. We dine out very often and love great places like this one. One more try from us. Hope its back to better service overall, and maybe we just were there on a very off night for them.
The apps and meal took an extremely long time to be served. Also, we were seated outside on a chilly evening without being asked.
Definitely not worth the high price.
Big, flashy, fun, loud, good interesting crowd, outdoor cocktail area
I thought this restaurant was beautiful, however, our table was in the back of the restaurant near the kitchen door, therefore, we were unable to enjoy the ambiance. The cost of the food was very overpriced for what was received. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu.
We loved celebrating a special occasion at One North! From the moment we entered, we knew the night was going to be special. From the ambiance to the food to the outdoor seating area, it was all special!
My wife and I had gone there recently and sat at the bar and then moved to the Mozzarella and Prosciutto bar seating...the prosciutto was the best I ever had and the food choices were unique Mediterranean style. We were offered side dishes and there was plenty of food to enjoy. I would return.
Overall great experience. Service team of Henry & Ben were gracious & attentive - excellent!
Such a great addition to the area!!!! The food, the staff, the atmosphere is awesome
Our servers - Seth and ________ we’re so incredibly nice. We were greeted by no less than six people who asked us how we were doing. You guys then sent over a dessert, the best crème brûlée I ever had, to celebrate our anniversary. Truly truly appreciate everybody there thank you so much for a wonderful night
Fish was very good here, though I though the Chilean Sea Bass, through every fresh, lacked some flavor. Huge wine list. Thought special appetizer was over priced compared to appetizers on menu. Always annoys me.
Dined her For our anniversary. The food was fabulous. The wait staff was very attentive. The decor is stunning. The outdoor eating area it was amazing. I would not hesitate to come here again.
Beautifully renovated restaurant, amazing food, attentive service. All that you want from a night out.
As always One North delivers!!! Top notch on all aspects. Just a wonderful dining experience. One of our favorite Long Island restaurants.
A little noisy, but the food and service more than made up for it. Cocktails were excellent. Can’t say enough about the service Harry and his crew provided.
The wait for everything was LONG. From the minute we sat down it took a long time to order a drink, and the wait between the appetizers and main courses being served was ridiculous. We had to ask our server 3 times when we would be served.
This was our 2nd time there. The first time was excellent. The service was very slow. We had to ask 3x for some bread. Food was good. The wine was just ok we had house wine. There was an issue with the heat lamps. Another customer didnt want it on so we were cold eventually they move another heat tower by us but not before seversl attempts. The manager gave us free desert as we waited so long for our dinner. Also took 20.00 off the bill .not sure we will be back
One of the five best meals of my life. Very $$, but worth it for special occasions. The octopus appetizer was the best I've ever tasted. Great drinks, great service. Can't wait to go again.
Presentation of our food was awful..
Our bean were all squashed, potato fries look like they were stepped on, my whole fish was tasteless. Our shared steak had to be replaced with another .. sorry you’re just to big an noisy...
We had a cocktail at the bar when we first arrived. We had a bartender immediately welcome us but we weren’t ready to order. It then took 10-15 minutes to get a drink after that (maybe 4 people sitting at the bar).
When we were sat for our reservation, the restaurant was fairly empty, however we were still taken to the last table outside around a wall by the busboy station. It was our fault for not asking for a different table, but we thought it was rude.
Food was decent. I had the sea bass - lacked flavor but the crips on the skin made up for it. I would skip the lobster bisque. The grilled octopus appetizer was great and the lobster was delicious. We did receive a complimentary desert from management (we were celebrating our anniversary). For what we paid, and our experience....it was nice but we probably won’t be going back. Definitely a nice place.
