I was amazed by the dish I ordered. The grilled tombo tuna was absolutely incredible!
Not a lot of flavor on some of the entrees. No reason to order the crab cakes or French dip sandwich. The sandwich was extremely bland. The server was a bit abrasive.
Delicious soup and main courses and a truly inspired wine list were somewhat counterbalanced by desserts that were way too complicated and too sweet and service that was best described as distracted.
Relaxed polish...between 4-5stars.
Food was delicious. Service was attentive. Atmosphere was quiet.
Always a great place for fantastic meals and fabulous service. We love celebrating our special occasion here.
The food was fabulous. Steaks cooked exactly as we had ordered them! Wonderful and flavorful sides as well! Definitely would eat there again on our next trip.
Staff was very attentive, and the food was spot on. We got the halibut and the Seabass. Two very different dishes, but great to share so we could both enjoy them. Highly recommend both dishes!
It was my first time at One Market, we were able to get a window seat, and thoroughly enjoyed it.! Will definitely go back again, the service was outstanding !
Lovely meal with great service.
30th anniversary ... everything was outstanding!!!
I patronize One Market frequently for lunch but seldom for dinner. My dinner on Friday was excellent. My date and I really enjoyed the prime rib, which was cooked just right, and ordered some very nice wines by the glass. Overall, an excellent evening.
Loved this restaurant the first time we came to San Francisco and loved it this time. The food is excellent, the service was very good and we had a visit from Ian player! An excellent evening
This was a delightful evening. My wife and I enjoyed our food and service. This is a top restaurant.
A fine restaurant but also the BEST Burger in town!
It was a birthday special occasion and the waitstaff made the birthday guest feel very special.
The food was delicious (the medium rare was a bit too rare for one diner, but was happily re-cooked and came back perfect). As always the deserts shined and the Happy Birthday icing made the lunch guest very happy (took photos to post).
Thank you for great food and even more great service!
Appreciated the service from everyone in the restaurant especially from Josephine.
Beautiful food and restaurant. Service was outstanding
Large party of 10 for dinner. We had a very nice, large, isolated table which allowed ample room for socializing and mingling. The staff was very professional - they somehow managed to keep track of everyone's orders even when people were shifting positions. Main dishes were good but what stood out for me were the sides, chickpea fries/fried green tomatoes/octopus in particular. They also have a good happy hour.
This place was recommended by my hotel concierge, but quite frankly very disappointing. For a city like SFO with so many great food options, I’m not sure why this was even on the concierge list. Food at best was very average and the ambiance as well. Wouldn’t go back there again.
Excellent food and service in a quiet setting.
One Market is as consistent as possible, and that's good. The food is always excellent and well thought out. I had the tuna tartare first course and it was spectacular - great, fresh diced tuna molded on a bed of mashed avocado resting in a thin ponzu sauce. Thin in viscosity, not in taste. Excellent and beyond generous. I was alone so I got to eat it all! For my main course I had the flounder. It was nicely fitted into a very complex dish with roasted cauliflower, sort of a tapenade and tiny roasted potatoes. The fish was pan sauteed, very tasty and very moist.
Even though it is very expensive ($100 for 2 for lunch without wine and one iced tea), the quality is good and the service is very good; they can get you in and out in an hour, just let them know. The desserts are the best! I would come here for a special occasion just to have one of their deserts. The toffee crunch cake was the best! The homemade toffee made all the difference!
A truly, elegant and memorable experience, sure to impressed each and every time.
Everything was excellent
One Market has been our “go to” place whenever we are in San Francisco. We are always thrilled with all aspects of a great dining experience. We have never been disappointed. Yum!
Food was good. Service not great. Waiter pleasant but never came to check on us after food delivered. Waited extended period for him to check in after we finished our meal. Ordered cappuccino at end of meal and it took at least 15 min to get it. Have had lunch at this restaurant previously and not had these issues.
I dine at One Market every month or so. In this instance, my guest and I were celebrating our birthdays, something I had let the restaurant know. They were gracious enough to provide their great chocolate dessert, the espresso chocolate mousse with some vanilla ice cream and two candles placed in macaroons.
The food has been terrific consistently. I urge anyone looking for a great meal to go.
As always, service was wonderful. Always courteous and welcoming. Who wouldn't want to eat here? Food is wonderful too! :)
The service was excellent, the food delicious. We had a wonderful time.
My son and I really enjoy the prix fixe lunch menu. The food is terrific and the service is top notch. We come back again and again.
Wonderful food and service and a fabulous piano player.
We had a party of 8. We had a great time having drinks, appetizers & our meals. We had a great waiter(I forgot his name). He was attentive but not hovering. The food was excellent & timely. The table was set beautifully too. We had a great time. It was expensive but we knew that going into our meal. Would recommend for a special occasion.
From entering the restaurant until leaving, the entire staff is welcoming and professional. They
make you feel like a valued guest! The food choices are excellent and the delivery was timely.
I would definitely go back.
This restaurant is a wonderful place to experience all the energy and fun of San Francisco. The lunch specials are always special and the featured cocktail 'deals' are a great value. The octopus appetizer and several of the desserts are outstanding, and the lunch menu offers a tempting variety of dishes, from salads to sandwishes, with full mains and tasty appetizers. The $27 unch special for two courses plus add-on dessert for $5 is a welcome way to have a special lunch wthout breaking the bank. We love this place!
Food was good, but our waiter was not too attentive. I had to ask the server to bring stuff instead.
We had a delightful evening at “One Market”. Our Waiter Jeff was excellent and made several great recommendations that added to our experience. You were highly recommended by a friend who lives in the Bay Area. We are from Michigan and love your beautiful city by the bay.
Great food and excellent service. It was a great choice to have dinner there.
Great food and even better wait staff. Would recommend
One Market has remained consistently excellent for many years. I hadn't been here in a while, but had business in the area so made a visit, and was really glad I did. It's a beautiful space that really pays attention to detail to make every meal a special experience. I had the halibut, which is a tricky fish because it's so bland and easily overwhelmed by other flavors on the plate. This plate was busy, but the kitchen had obviously considered how everything worked together. It was sublime. My partner's salmon a la carte was a lot less elegant, pretty much a hunk of fish on a plate with a little sauce, but I guess that's the deal with ordering a la carte. Anyway, everything else was first rate - salads, (really) hot rolls, good wine, great service. It's a bit of a splurge but a great way to treat yourself to something special.
