    I absolutely love One Market and have been coming here shortly after the restaurant opened. I die for the fried chicken; I probably talk about the fried chicken daily but in reality get it maybe twice a year! Great restaurant for date night with my husband. We usually eat here first before heading to the opera house for either the ballet or opera. And we are creatures of habit; I order fried chicken and my husband orders the halibut - both are always cooked to perfection and excellent every time! Oh, and we always ask for a quiet table away from the piano ... we LOVE piano and the pianist is excellent! As a matter of fact, I used to frequent my parents friends piano bar and we'd stay out late closing the piano bar at 3am! I'm certain when I have time for cocktails, I'll be at One Market's bar enjoying the piano music! It's such a great amenity and nod to the classics!

    This is my favorite restaurant in San Francisco. The service is superb, the food is excellent and the ambiance is very good. If you are fortunate to get a table near the window, you can also see the Ferry Building and the Embarcadero. Overall the best in my book.

    One Market is a reasonably good diner in a scenic location. The staff is attentive, the small menu features classic dishes, skillfully prepared. However, those who remember One Market from the 2000s, today’s restaurant offers a faint memory of a once aspiring SF fixture.

    Went with two friends for the first time. It's next to impossible to find a restaurant with good food, good service, and quiet enough to enjoy a conversation. One Market has all three. If I may may quote our ex-governor Arnold, "I'll be back".

    A friendly, accessible restaurant with an upbeat atmosphere. Our server was especially helpful and attentive. And when timing with the kitchen lagged momentarily, the house manager offered us a glass of wine on the house, which we appreciated.

    All I can say is that the service was Fabulous!!! We celebrated my partner's birthday and host and waiter remembered and brought out a dessert with a candle and Happy Birthday spelled in chocolate. We'll definitely be back!

    This is a very good place to go for a delicious meal in a calm, bright restaurant. Our server, the host, the bus person, were attentive, courteous, personable and dignified. I was celebrating two generous friends and our long friendship. We had trout, brisket, flat iron steak, and butterscotch pudding - all of it delicious, served neatly with perfect timing.

    Went here for our Anniversary on a Wednesday night. Service was friendly yet professional. The Sommelier was fantastic. She's very knowledgeable and recommended the perfect wine. Our food was perfectly cooked and the presentation was lovely. We will definitely be back!

    Online I felt like this was a more casual restaurant, especially given their prices (this is SF remember). My team walked in and I felt like I booked a fancy lunch for them. It's a really large restaurant and really nice inside. Food was good, service was great. Will book again.

    Food absolutely DEEEEELISH! Our friends hadn't been there and now eager to return. Waiter very good; service as well. Food served piping hot as it should be. Not often experienced in most other restaurants. EXCELLENT EXPRIENCE!

    Food was to everyone's satisfaction. The cucumber salad was a very nice selection -perfectly balanced flavors. Our waiter was very good. Knows his trade; informative without being overbearing, attentive at just the right times, and even offered to take a picture without being asked. A real pro.

    One Market is a very nice restaurant with great ambiance. The service was excellent with our server, N. Viento, answering all of our questions and explaining everything in detail. The bartender and hostess were excellent. Their regular dinner menu is very good. They have a new BBQ menu. We tried the brisket and pulled pork sandwiches. They were very dry and I have had much better. We did not like their BBQ sauces. The vinegar one was thin and like water and the tomato one was not tasty. I feel they should take away the BBQ menu and offer their regular menu which is very good and what they are known for.

    Not the greatest value. Pricey entrees. Service ok. Pork tenderloin sent back, dangerously rare. Fried chicken very moist, crispy, but still could have had more flavor. Potato lakes tasted like tator tots. Still a great interior. Piano bar added ambience. 20 years ago this place was cutting edge and super busy. Now, clearly hurting for business and I would point to pricing and food as exhibit A. Although a variety of priced entrees, multiple $59 entrees seems high even by today's SF standards. Restaurants have to find a way to deliver better value if they want every week, every month regulars and a sustainable business model.

    Lunch with a friend of many decades…a perfect place. Allowed us to linger as long as we wanted. Everyone was welcoming. The impossible to resist chickpea fries were great as usual; the seared tombo salad on artichoke hearts and shaved fennel was lovely, as was my friend’s steelhead. She finished everything but I filled up on those fries and mostly had to take my salad home. Bravo to this restaurant for the non alcoholic options, especially the Athletic IPA. There are n/a cocktails, shrubs, and of course the Athletic in several flavors. All good!!

    Although the interior is dated and tired, the food and service could not be better. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. Prices are high, comparable to similar SF restaurants, and the portions are generous. I appreciated that it was fairly quiet, even with the live piano coming from the bar area. Tables are well placed, not cramped!

    One Market, now 30 years strong, is a longtime favorite of mine. They added Mark ‘n Mike’s menu of NY style deli over 2 years ago with the best pastrami and brisket in town. Be sure to try a Reuben or Mile-High sandwich!😋

    Severely understaffed restaurant. The host was not very welcoming. It took over 40 minutes to get our drink and over 50 minutes for the server to come back for us to order starters and entrees. From there, 3 out of 9 did not received what they ordered. Due to the extreme slow service, we were offer "to-go" dessert when the restaurant was closing up for lunch service. It was not a good experience.

    We enjoyed a dinner with friends at One Market restaurant to celebrate my husbands Birthday. The reason I chose your restaurant was because you had a few Jewish items on the menu. He really wanted Jewish Deli type food. I called the restaurant to clarify this as there was not much of this on the dinner menu. The manager told me that they could make up a Brisket platter for all to share. When I asked for this for our guests to share before we all ordered our dinners, I was told this was a lunch item. I did not push this, so we just ordered Latkas. This was a disappointment, and although the food was generally good, we all looked forward to a tray of several Jewish Deli Items to start the evening.

    This restaurant is amazing. I was there with a small group and we each got something completely different. It was all very good! And their selection of wine is breathtaking! The Sommelier knew exactly what to pair with our meals. Can't wait to go back!
