One Fifty One Kitchen & Bar
Our Chef honors and expands Midwestern food traditions through his kitchen at One Fifty One Kitchen | Bar, with a seasonal approach to menu creation. The menu is anchored by our chef's unique takes on rustic dishes, and is complimented by an extensive craft beer list, handmade cocktails, and a curated wine program highlighting a select group of our country’s best vintners.
Our service strives to be timely and graceful, allowing our customers to focus on what is important to them: enjoying great company over a fantastic meal.
We look forward to welcoming you in at One-Fifty-One. We hope that you will find our space to be convivial and comfortable – because eating is a celebration to be shared!
Food was just fair. Outside dining smelly and noisy
We are sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your meal as much as we would have hoped! Would love to hear more about what you dined on.....151elmhurst@gmail Unfortunately we cannot control traffic or smells from the outside. I would suggest dining indoors next time. Thanks in advance.
Great atmosphere, food and drinks were delicious. Had a terrific server named Megan, she took great care of us.
Great food, nice menu and excellent service. The only negative was the outside patio was very tight quarters.
The waitress and staff were very attentive and made recommendations.
I was looking for a place to celebrate my birthday with my family and I was told this would be a nice place.
Everyone was so nice
The food was excellent
Would come back when back in town 😁😊
Started with pork belly, incredible flavor & cooked to perfection. Also had the baked beer with figs, walnuts & jalapeno honey (don't let the name scare you - it was not HOT)
The place looks great, food is awesome, but I did not feel welcomed when I walked in and being served. I was alone but I did not think this fact will play a difference. Next time I will bring manikin with me maybe I will be treated a bit better. No, just kidding, there will be no next time. I ordered the most expensive dish on the menu, I left a handsome tip., I am not coming back there again. I love good food, I don't mind spending ridiculous money on good food but I do care for the atmosphere as much as I do food!
We ate outside so we had outside noice. But it is perfect. I love Elmhurst and it is right in the center of town. The food is fabulous and the service was on point. Wonderful experience.
I loved the ambience. One Fifty One Kitchen is in a good location, downtown Elmhurst. Good food, good service. No complaints.
The menu was not appetizing the way we had thought it was going to be.
Delightful! We were celebrating two birthdays with four of us who had different tastes and we all thought our meal selection was the best. Knowing we were celebrating two birthdays, we were given the choice of two scrumptious desserts on the house. Actually just one of these desserts was enough for all four of us to share.
Our server was great, loved the atmosphere and the cocktails, but the food was a fairly overpriced for what you get. Not sure I’ll be back.
Wonderful restaurant in charming downtown Elmhurst. I loved the food and beverage choices and found the atmosphere to be most pleasant as well.
Nice atmosphere and good service, but the steak was not cooked properly for a couple of us at the table.
Such a cute modern restaurant! Fried chicken sandwich was tasty, but is kind of messy (starts falling apart with each bite). The frosé was another highlight!
I ordered an beet salad that only contained 2 thin slices of a raw beet and a few raw chunks. The salad was limp, with ok grilled chicken. The tomato soup was good. My lunch companion didn't eat much of her crispy chicken sandwich. Big disappointment.
The food was delicious, our server was fantastic, and the drinks were great too!
Food and service was excellent, noise level Was moderate everything was very good except the prices for drinks were a little on the high side.
Best meal I’ve had in a long time. ♥️
It was a great dinner spot for our family. Everyone loved the starters and their own entrees. The food was great, service was spot on, and we liked the look of the place. Will definitely come back.
Interesting menu........no executed well. Overpriced. Inexperienced servers
Food was so good. We had the pork belly with risotto- excellent, house made gardiniera- omg! That dish is perfect! Then we had the baked brie. That also was fabulous and we did not all the extra bread. Ryan was our server and he was wonderful. Sitting outside was quite a treat! Definitely be back.
Great frozen drinks, delicious food and great service. I will definitely go back.
It was an awesome fathers day experience! Melissa was knowledgeable, polite and kept us informed of obvious kitchen delays as a result of the holiday. We hadn't ever been to 151 before, so she took the extra time to run through what the place was about. The crabby Benedict was perfect...outstanding job from the kitchen. The server took amazing care of us and we will be back.
I had a hamburger
Very good service. Quite loud. Very small portion on a pasta dish. Great grits. Beet salad disappointing. I didn’t like the steak as, although it was a ribeye, it was more fat than meat, however, another person at the table likes hers.
Went for my birthday celebration and was pleasantly surprised that we were sat in the front room, so cozy since we were only six people. From the hostess to our server, Andrea, a busboy named Connor and later another tall young man, where so attentive it made my celebration so memorable. They were on top of their game when taking our orders, checking to see how we were on our drinks, to keeping our table clean. So friendly and that shows they are happy to be working there.
I enjoyed the hangar steak and fingerling potatoes. Very tasty!
This was a very good spot for a business lunch. The menu was diverse; the farm-to-table entrees received a thumbs-up from everyone in our group; it was not overly formal, but nice; and it is located conveniently downtown, with ample public parking nearby.
Limited menu, but the four of us each ordered something different, and we each liked what we got (this included Pork Chop, Cornish Hen, Shrimp 'n Grits, and Hangar Steak). Cheerful competent service.
First time there and look forward to another great dining experience.
I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. The chef, newer to One Fifty One, worked with a Top Chef and I fully believe that he should compete on the show himself. In addition to being extremely talented, he and his entire staff are delightful and make the dining experience fun. The food is farm to table and it is perfectly balanced in flavors, textures, and temperatures. Everything is crafted from drinks to dessert. My mom and I, whom I had dined with, are both aspiring foodies and have eaten at a number of well known, well rated restaurants in Chicago and One Fifty One could easily hold its own against any one of those places. The ambiance embraces the farm to table concept and is rustic chic in the best possible way. With one meal I am already calling this my new favorite restaurant and booked another reservation before we had even started dessert.
Food was over priced for the amount that we received on multiple dishes. Food was good though. We got coffee and no one bothered to ask if we wanted a refill.
Love this restaurant. Will be back again and again.
Thank you so much! We look forward to it!
It was great spot for a Mother’s Day dinner! Food was delicious.
Good food, drinks, and service. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant.
Too loud to have a conversation. Food just ok
Great experience -- good service, staff was friendly and attentive, dinner was quite good too. Would highly recommend One Fifty One Kitchen & Bar to friends.
I love the decorating, friendly staff and fun menu items. The drinks are wonderful too.
