We do simple food the hard way, by hand-making almost everything. For us, eating well also means doing right by the local economy through sourcing most of our ingredients from close to home.

Our Chef honors and expands Midwestern food traditions through his kitchen at One Fifty One Kitchen | Bar, with a seasonal approach to menu creation. The menu is anchored by our chef's unique takes on rustic dishes, and is complemented by an extensive craft beer list, handmade cocktails, and a curated wine program highlighting a select group of our country’s best vintners.

Our service strives to be timely and graceful, allowing our customers to focus on what is important to them: enjoying great company over a fantastic meal.

Beautiful decor, and food overall is very good. Margarita cocktail was fenomenal! However, it is very loud, not sure if the design and acoustics were intended to be so noisy?? It was hard to have a conversation….

Shrimp was overcooked and “blackened” to them meant just some spicy paste smeared on afterwards. There was an overhead light beaming onto my face the whole time and the server, while friendly, was just scripted in her push for upselling. Felt so odd.

Great experience. Very enjoyable. Good food and better service. It was hot in the room we were in by the front door. They said they turned the air on it down but it never really cooled off. Other than that all was well.
